Chapter 1675 - Kidnapped

When the staff members came to unbuckle the seatbelt, Elvis felt his arm getting poked.

Alert, he raised his head, only to face a staff member whose cap was worn extremely low.

That person smiled evilly, then spoke in poor Mandarin, “If you want your woman to be safe, then listen.”

Elvis immediately turned back to look at Gu Mengmeng, and realized that she had already been escorted down from the other side of the rollercoaster by a staff member. The staff said Gu Mengmeng had heatstroke and needed rest, while bringing her through the staff passageway.

Elvis wanted to chase over, but realized his seatbelt was stuck buckled in at his chest.

He wanted to push it open, but the seatbelt refused to unbuckle.

He then realized it seemed like he was incapable of unleashing any force. The more furious he got, the more giddy he felt, he gritted his teeth but was unable to control his consciousness, which was slowly fading away.

It was only until Elvis had fainted completely before the staff member unbuckled his seatbelt. He glanced behind, and a few people who pretended to be tourists came over and carried Elvis away.

And all of this did not catch any attention from anyone in the amusement park.

When she regained consciousness, Gu Mengmeng only felt weak all over, with her eyelids dry and heavy. She did not even have the energy to raise her head nor rub her eyes.

“Ugh…”

“You’re awake.” A stranger’s voice sounded from not too far away.

Gu Mengmeng looked over, and used her peripheral vision to see a gray-haired man who was sitting on a European-style high-back chair not too far away.

By looks, he was about sixty years old.

Rather than showing signs of old age, he had the aura of a godfather in those underworld movies.

The man sat there with his arms folded, holding a walking stick. He looked at Gu Mengmeng with a smile that looked barely like one, his pronunciation was not good, but was above average relative to the foreigners, so there was no problem with basic communication.

“Who are you?” Gu Mengmeng’s voice was extremely soft, and could only say these three simple words before panting heavily after.

“Harold.” The silver-haired man spat out a name in the F language like a local, then transliterated to Mandarin, “You can also call me Harold.”

“Motive.” Gu Mengmeng had limited energy, but she had to socialize with the man in order to get more time for her to regain control over her body.

As long as her arms could move, a scratch of her cheeks and tweaking of her ears can get her four men there with a pump of one’s chest.

Then, hehe, why would I care if you are Harold or Hello Kitty? They would crush you to smithereens!

“I have no ill intentions.” Harold said, “I know you are the fiance of Prince Snake, neither do I have any plans to become enemies with him. So, although the way I invited you over was rather sudden, at least I was still gentlemanly towards you.”

Meaning, he had already considered Snake’s face when he placed her on the bed paralysed, or else? Would she be locked in a jail cell, being tortured like a prisoner?

Gu Mengmeng laughed coldly, “You can explain to Snake like this when he comes, and see if he will listen.”

Harold seemed like he did not take Gu Mengmeng’s warning to heart. He did not want to become enemies with Snake, but that did not mean he was afraid of him.

Otherwise, he would not think to do anything to Gu Mengmeng.

Making a “So What” expression, Harold did not reply to Gu Mengmeng, only telling her his true motive, “As long as you are willing to do a small favor for me, I will naturally send you back while providing you my most sincere apologies.”
