Chapter 56: Trashes

He is still the same.

Si Chen said as he remembered the moment which had happened a few days ago. It was the time when Zhao Luo had fought with Bambi.

The Si Chen from then couldn’t even have imagined that Zhao Luo would have such a goal but now Si Chen was happy to see that Zhao Luo’s goal was so extraordinary.

Indeed Brother Zhao Luo is a remarkable guy.

Brother Sang said as he looked at the tall standing Zhao Luo.

‘As expected of the guy who I am destined to help.’

Brother Sang thought the duty of taking care of Zhao Luo was his now after his father had passed away.

While Brother Sang and Si Chen were giving their output after hearing Zhao Luo’s announcement Rose was just looking at him.

She had already taken a liking to Zhao Luo. The way he acted the way he looked and the way he made her feel. After hearing his announcement even she was a little shocked.

Only after hearing Zhao Luo’s announcement did she found out something new about Zhao Luo.

‘He is very ambitious too. Good guy.’

Rose thought as some ideas were invading her mind.

While Brother Sang Si Chen and Rose were having different thoughts regarding Zhao Luo there was someone who had a smirk on his face.

The Sect was really big even if someone just looked at it. There were many halls and palaces in the Xin Sect.

Then there was a place in the Xin Sect where many palaces were surrounding a majestic palace.

Inside that majestic palace there was a man. He was the same man who had the smirk on his face.

He had his eyes closed as his smirk grew more and more till it turned into a smile.

While his mouth kept on moving. Sometimes he would say words of insult while other times he would say praises.

Haha the little puppy wants to become the strongest in my sect.

The man said suddenly even though he had his eyes closed it was like he was still seeing the scenes from outside the TPC Building somehow.

How long has it been since I have seen someone like him?

The guy with the closed eyes said as he was spying on the new disciples.

This guy was the Sect Leader of Xin Sect.

The reason for watching the new disciples was because the Second Elder had gone out to be the examiner of this time’s entrance exam.

During the previous exams every time the number of examinees passing would easily exceed the numbers in hundreds. But this time only 20 had passed so the Sect Leader wanted to know who these lucky 20 disciples were.

While he was doing so his eyes caught the sight of someone who looked familiar.

It was Yan but right then Zhao Luo had asked his question.

As Zhao Luo started questioning the Second Elder the Sect leader was solely focused on Zhao Luo till the announcement of his goal.

I like this young man. Hahaha.

The Sect leader said as he started laughing.

Becoming the strongest in the Xin Sect meant there was no one stronger than you in the whole Xin Range.

Outside the TPC Building.

Zhao Luo had just told the Second Elder his first step towards his big goal. But he didn’t know that many other parties had heard it alongside the Second Elder.

Young man you are one interesting fellow.

The second elder told Zhao Luo.

If it was someone else he wouldn’t have taken his seriously but it was Zhao Luo who had solved his hardest riddles easily.

Thank you Elder. But I am still nowhere near you.

Zhao Luo said to the Second Elder as he had to agree that this Elder Dousan was something else.

As this ended the Second Elder looked at everyone.

There is already someone who has such an intense goal for his future. Don’t fall behind him by too much.

The Second Elder told the new disciples.

The new disciples looked at Zhao Luo.

Even though Zhao Luo had a big dream it didn’t matter much. An unachievable dream would stay as a dream and will never become a reality.

‘Who could become even stronger than the Sect Leader himself?’

They thought as the idea seemed impossible to achieve.

So the other new disciples didn’t feel threatened or challenged by Zhao Luo.

Fei will take over from now on.

The Second Elder said before giving Zhao Luo a last look as he disappeared from his place.

‘Whoosh.’

The place where the Elder was standing was now empty.

Many were confused.

Fei? Who is Fei?

Zhao Luo questioned as someone else was going to be leading them.

Everyone appeared to be waiting for this Fei to appear. It wasn’t long before they could hear someone walking towards them.

Tap Tap Tap.

From far away which looked like a hall someone was walking towards them.

‘Is he Fei?’

Zhao Luo thought as the silhouette of a tall man was getting visible more and more as he got close to them.

In just a matter of seconds a person was standing in the place where Elder Dousan was.

This new guy looked as if he was confused over something and was holding his anger inside him. His eyebrows were a little arched as his forehead would twitch once in a while.

In terms of looks he looked quite average. But the thing about him which stood out the most was something that was on his chest.

It was the badge.

While everyone including Zhao Luo was wearing a simple black badge this guy had a bronze badge on his chest.

There was a single line on his bronze badge showing his level.

‘|’

Zhao Luo looked at his bronze badge with a shining straight line in the middle of it.

He still wasn’t familiar with the strength and cultivation levels in the Xin Sect but he knew that this guy was way stronger than Si Chen and Rose or maybe even him.

So you are my younger brothers and sisters.

The guy said as he looked at everyone with an eerie smile on his face.

But then as if a realization had hit him. He turned around facing his back towards the new disciples.

‘Thwack.’

As he turned around the man did something which caused everyone to hear a slapping sound. Then he turned around again to look at the new disciple and Zhao Luo could a handprint on the guy’s face.

‘Did he slap himself?’

Zhao Luo thought as he was looking at the new guy.

Let me introduce myself. I am Zi Fei. You guys can call me Brother Fei.

Zi Fei said as he started the introduction.

I will be taking you to your hall. I will also be guiding you through the ranks of the disciples and the ways you can earn your bread in the Sect.

Zip Fei told them. While talking there would be times when a smile would emerge on his face but he would quickly hide it.

He has problems.

Zhao Luo said lightly as he saw the weird senior brother of his.

Follow me.

Zi Fei said as he turned around and started walking towards the area where the Halls of the Sect were starting.

The group of new disciples started following him. Zhao Luo was also amongst them. With Yan Feng Mei and Su Shi beside him he could be said to be a person who has been blessed by the beauties.

Brother I don’t like this senior brother Fei.

Feng Mei cried with her cute voice and told Zhao Luo.

Zhao Luo smiled as he heard her and then focused back on Zi Fei.

Since you have only joined the Sect by passing the entrance exam you are all trainee disciples.

Zi Fei said as he started the explanation about how the disciples were ranked.

After you are strong enough to acquire the ‘|’ mark on your black badge you will advance to an outer disciple of the Xin Sect. Obviously how you are treated depends on your status and how fast you improve.

Zi Fei continued as the eerie smile was etched on his face. Nobody could see his smile as they were falling behind him while he was explaining to them.

After you acquire the ‘|X’ mark on your black badge you will be eligible to advance to inner disciple but the tests aren’t easy so don’t even dream about it half-heartedly.

Zi Fei explained the method to advance to an inner disciple.

Zhao Luo now knew about outer disciples inner disciples and trainee disciples which he was at the moment.

‘It’s the same as the temples.’

He remembered that the setting regarding the disciple ranking here was quite similar to the ones at the Shaolin temples during his time.

After inner disciples there are core disciples and then the direct disciples. But let’s stop this here as too much knowledge can be fatal for people who aren’t even meant to act on it.

Zi Fei said as he stopped his explanation.

Zhao Luo could easily see through the taunt hidden in Zi Fei’s words.

For now you all will be staying in the trainee disciple hall. With a senior from the outer hall helping you out in your training.

Zi Fei explained to them as they had reached a building.

The nameplate outside the building said ‘Trainee Hall’.

Zhao Luo looked at it as even the place where trainees were staying at looked humongous.

Zi Fei entered through the gates with everyone following behind him.

As soon as everyone entered a voice called out to them.

The trashes are here.

A bulky man said in a harsh tone.
