nHaha hahaha hahaha.
nA burst of frantic laughter with very short breaks echoed out in the main room of the magical palace of Brother Sang.
nThis laughter belonged to the one and only Brother Sang of the ‘Sang Sang Merchants’.
nZhao Luo freaked out while looking at his Brother Sang laughing like a mad man.
nHe may have been rough with his actions but he is supposed to be mentally stable. Then why is he laughing like this? I only mentioned him being Takuma’s Grandson.
nZhao Luo couldn’t understand what was happening right now.
nZhao Luo should be the one laughing like crazy as he may have found Takuma’s descendant but instead it was Brother Sang who was laughing like that.
nNever in his wildest dreams Zhao Luo would have imagined any connection between Brother Sang and Takuma the researcher who was behind his 100 years of sleep in a capsule.
nSo when Zhao Luo saw the picture of Takuma which was on the top of the line which had other pictures of Brother Sang’s father and grandfather he guessed that Takuma was the father of Brother Sang’s Grandfather but when Zhao Luo asked unconsciously Brother Sang started laughing frantically.
n‘He still hasn’t answered my question.’
nZhao Luo thought.
nForgive me.
nBrother Sang regained his composure and started at Zhao Luo for a few seconds.
nZhao Luo didn’t say anything as he had already asked his question.
nWould you mind listening to a story?
nBrother Sang asked Zhao Luo but now his tone had changed to a very respectful one.
nZhao Luo felt undeserving of the respect he would rather have Brother Sang talk as he had been talking. Like how a big brother would.
n‘Nod’
nZhao Luo didn’t mind it much and nodded as he was very interested in Brother Sang even before he found a connection between him and Takuma. So a story from Brother Sang was very much welcomed by his ears.
nIt is about a 14-year-old boy. He lived in a ruined World. Even though the state of the World was mostly spent he still lived a very comfortable life. His father was a genius just like his father’s father who was also a genius and continuing to his father’s grandfather who was unparalleled among the geniuses of his time.
nBrother Sang had a sad look on his face. It was like he was going to cry.
n‘What he is telling isn’t sad at all but looking at his expression is a heartbreaking thing for me.’
nZhao Luo didn’t know why his heart felt so heavy just because of the sad look on Brother Sang’s face.
nBrother Sang continued with his story.
nThe boy was always with his father. He also knew that his father was a genius but there was another truth related to him and his father. That other truth was about the 14-year-old boy. The boy was born stupid and even after his father’s countless experiments on his son the boy couldn’t improve his intelligence. After the countless tries that boy’s father could only train him physically to fight for himself in the ruined World.
nBrother Sang was telling the story when Zhao Luo interrupted.
nWho was the boy?
nZhao Luo asked as he had to know about the identity of the boy otherwise he wouldn’t be able to concentrate on brother Sang’s story.
nBrother Sang sat down on the sofa and said to Zhao Luo.
nPlease sit.
nAs he pointed towards the chair to motion Zhao Luo to take a seat.
nHmm.
nZhao Luo moved towards the chair and sat on it. He looked at Brother Sang who was going to tell him about the identity of the boy.
nBrother Sang tilted his big face a little and tried to bring out his sharp features if there were any.
nYou are looking at him.
nHe said proudly.
nZhao Luo controlled his laughter with his utmost power.
nLet’s move towards the story.
nBrother Sang said to Zhao Luo who was making a weird face.
nYes please do so.
nZhao Luo replied to Brother Sang who didn’t have any idea that he was the reason behind the weird face that Zhao Luo was making.
nEverything was going fine till one day an earthquake happened and mountains after mountains emerged from the appearing cracks.
nBrother Sang closed his eyes as he could remember the scene like it happened yesterday.
nThen I with my father and some other people climbed the entry mountain that you already know about.
nBrother Sang looked at Zhao Luo.
nMy father’s brilliance couldn’t be hidden even after coming here so he started a merchant company in the lawless city and named it after me.
nBrother Sang told the history of Sang Sang merchants.
nNow Sang Sang Merchants are the Number 1 merchant group in the Xin Range. Financially we can rival two of three Royal families.
nBrother Sang told Zhao Luo.
nZhao Luo was astonished. He didn’t know how rich the Royal family was but to rival a Royal family in terms of wealth wasn’t an ordinary thing. Especially when you are from another place.
nYour father must be a great guy.
nZhao Luo said to Brother Sang. To make such a big name and so much money in just 10 years was an impossible feat.
nYes he was a great guy indeed.
nBrother Sang was almost on the verge of tearing up but he didn’t.
nMy bad.
nZhao Luo didn’t know that his father had passed away so he felt bad for him.
nThere was nothing that my father couldn’t achieve. But even after getting to the 2nd City after coming to the Xin Mountain Range he still regretted something. Do you know what?
nBrother Sang looked at Zhao Luo.
n‘What an unreasonable question. How would I even know that?’
nZhao Luo thought but he couldn’t say it loud to Brother Sang who was already very emotional talking about his father.
nNo I don’t know. Please tell me.
nZhao Luo answered Brother Sang’s question while keeping his cool.
nHe regretted not acting on my great grandfather Takuma’s wish.
nBrother Sang spoke with a poker face.
nWhat was the wish of Takuma?
nZhao Luo asked Brother Sang before Brother Sang could ask him.
nMy great grandfather had passed a verdict before he passed away. The verdict was about a guy who will appear in front of one of his descendants and will say his name. His wish was to serve the guy who will say his name to the best of their ability even sacrificing their lives for this said guy.
nBrother Sang told Zhao Luo. Zhao Luo was so touched that he remembered Takuma as an angel. He had never met a guy who was cooler than Takuma.
nThis verdict with my Great grandfather’s wish was passed to my grandfather who then passed it to my father before his death. Then last year my father passed this wish to me as he passed away. On that day I swore that if this person comes in front of me and asks for my life I will give my life to him without even questioning it. And here you are.
nBrother Sang got up from the sofa and bowed to Zhao Luo. He didn’t know what authority this man in front of him had but he will serve this man to the best of his ability from now on.
nZhao Luo helped Brother Sang to get up. He was completely silent in the latter half of the story that Brother Sang was telling him.
nZhao Luo looked at Brother Sang’s wet eyes and then after a while he moved towards the wall where the picture of Takuma was.
nHe got close to the wall and tilted his head upwards looking at all the pictures of Takuma and his descendants.
nZhao Luo raised his arm with his hand making a first.
nThud.
nHe brought his fist down hitting his chest causing a loud THUD sound to echo in the almost empty hall of Brother Sang’s Palace.
nRespect.
nZhao Luo said while looking at the picture of Takuma at the top.
nHe is so Cool.
nBrother Sang exclaimed.
nThere was a time when I hated your great grandfather. But then after some long time I realized that he was indeed a genius. My hate for him turned to nothing as I just wanted to meet him and tell him about the success of his research which was Me. But sadly fate didn’t allow us to meet.
nZhao Luo said after which he turned around to look at Brother Sang and continued with his speech.
nNow that I see you and how Takuma left you with a job to take care of me. I feel bad at myself for hating him ever even though he went against my will.
nZhao Luo felt a little regretful. Takuma’s action was nothing but a blessing for him and Zhao Luo knew it after learning how the World changed from Si Chen and Rose.
nI shall call you master from now on.
nBrother Sang declared out of nowhere leaving Zhao Luo speechless.
nHmmm.
nZhao Luo wondered.
nBrother Sang how can you call me master when I call you brother and think of you as a brother too? Just call me Zhao Luo as you have been doing so.
nZhao Luo didn’t want unnecessary titles. Especially not from Brother Sang just because of a wish from Takuma.
nPlus Brother Sang was already like a big brother kind of figure for him.
nI will do as you say but you will have to at least let me serve you as my master Brother Zhao Luo.
nBrother Sang said without any intention of backing down.
nAs you wish Brother Sang.
nZhao Luo decided to let Brother Sang do as he wishes. For Brother Sang it was like a duty that was to be fulfilled so Zhao Luo didn’t have any right to stop him from that.
nJust like this Zhao Luo became the master of the biggest Merchant group of the Xin Mountain Range.
n
