Chapter 27: Bimba!

nZhao Luo looked at his shattered sword and then saw the dual claws of the sand lion leader coming towards his head with an incredible speed.

n‘Should I dodge this?’

nZhao Luo thought.

nRose was worried for Zhao Luo but if she could hear his thoughts she would slap him.

nObviously if those sharp claws were coming at anyone they would instinctively dodge them.

nAs for Zhao Luo he was contemplating whether to dodge the attack or deal with the attack in some other way.

nSi Chen and Rose saw that Zhao Luo wasn’t moving so they thought maybe the breaking of the sword took a hit on Zhao Luo’s mental state and now he was struck with fear.

nThat’s why he wasn’t even trying to dodge the fast claws.

nBut who was Zhao Luo?

nHe had already mastered the first step to Godhood.

nHe was already a master of Naoli.

nThe speed of the claws would have been fast for anyone who was around Rose and Si Chen’s level or even a few levels stronger than them.

nYet for Zhao Luo it was starting to slow down as it got close to him.

nThe claw attack of the leader wasn’t getting slower it was the perception of Zhao Luo that was increasing as he was immersed in his thoughts thinking about which attack he should use to counter against the leader’s dual claw attack.

n‘Hmm I should dodge it then stab his neck with one of the broken shards. Maybe I can just kick his claws to break his attack.’

n‘What if my leg gets hurt? His claws look sharp as hell.’

nZhao Luo thought.

nAs the claws were infinitely close to landing on his head he moved.

nZhao Luo jumped behind and dodged the claws.

nRoar.

nThe sand lion leader cried as his attack missed the target.

nHe followed Zhao Luo to throw another claw attack.

nBut before he could even raise his claw to throw that attack Zhao Luo rotated his body to touch the sand on the ground with his hands and flip forwards towards the sand lion.

nThe power on his arms was so much that his forward flip happened in an instant and because of the high speed of his flip the momentum of his turning body was stronger than anything he could throw at the sand lion.

nThe sand lion was also shocked as he saw Zhao Luo coming towards him in such a weird position.

nRoar?

nHe was confused to the point of losing his defense.

nThe sand lion was hit with Zhao Luo’s kicks as his feet landed directly on the sand lion’s face.

nThe sand lion’s facial features changed as the footmark of Zhao Luo’s feet was left on its face while he was sent flying with Zhao Luo’s kick on his face.

nWhen the leader fell on the ground the impact of his fall caused the sand to rise. It covered the leader’s condition.

nRose and Si Chen rushed towards Zhao Luo.

nThey both felt astonished after experiencing Zhao Luo’s strength and his moves.

nWow you blew away that beast in one move.

nSi Chen exclaimed showing his excitement after witnessing Zhao Luo’s strength.

nThey were bringing such a powerful guy back to their sect he was excited because of the merit he may receive because of this unexpected event.

nRose also looked excited.

n‘I knew he wasn’t normal but to think he was this strong.’

nRose thought.

nThey both were looking at Zhao Luo saying something to Zhao Luo.

nZhao Luo looked as if he was lost somewhere.

n‘What was that? What kind of **ty kick was that?’

nHe remembered the upgraded apparitions he had assimilated into his body. He remembered one particular apparition who had been using donkey kicks even after all the others had stopped.

n‘This must be because of that apparition.’

nZhao Luo concluded and felt a little resentful about how he could have chosen some other exercise at that time.

nThen he looked at how Rose and Si Chen were looking at him with the eyes of worship.

n‘Guess it wasn’t that bad.’

nZhao Luo looked at the sand lions that had surrounded them and realized that both of them had already killed them all.

nGood job guys.

nZhao Luo said to them.

nWhile Zhao Luo was telling them that they did a good job he realized that So Chen was badly hurt as blood was still flowing through his injury.

nYou should rest and let Rose see to your injury.

nZhao Luo said to Si Chen.

nDon’t worry it’s just a small injury as we have already covered half the distance. By the way it will be even more dangerous to rest in the middle of the desert. So let’s move on towards our destination.

nSi Chen said to Zhao Luo.

n‘Nod’

nZhao Luo noted agreeing with what Si Chen said. He then looked at Rose who was also looking at him with glitter in her eyes.

nShe already had such beautiful eyes and now she was even starting at him so Zhao Luo couldn’t help but blush and turn away.

nWhat?

nRose asked as Zhao Luo turned away from her.

nNothing.

nThe redness on his handsome face was clear as the night moon.

nZhao Luo with Si Chen and Rose moved towards the leader of the sand lions who was still lying on the ground.

nThe sand lion was still unconscious.

nHe had a really bad nightmare. The nightmare started with his fight with a human. The human had turned in a donkey midway through their fight. Then the second half of their fight started where the donkey was the only one attacking and he was just getting kicked everywhere till he died.

nThe sand lion couldn’t accept the result as his trembling body got him out of the nightmare.

nROOOOAA~.

nHe woke up with a loud cry which was left in his throat as he saw three shadows covering him while he was lying on the sand.

nHe could feel a very intense feeling of pain coming from his face. He felt like his face was on fire.

nAs he focused on the shadows of the three humans who were standing around him waiting for him to wake up he realized that one of them looked like the one from his dreams.

nROAR.

nThe sand lion almost ** his pants but thankfully he wasn’t wearing any.

nCalm down.

nZhao Luo said to it as he knew that the sand lion leader was intelligent enough to understand him.

nAs the beast could understand his taunt before.

nIf you agree to become my pet I will let you live. Otherwise.

nZhao Luo gave the offer to the leader of the sand lions and then pointed towards the corpses of the other sand lions.

nHe wanted to show the result of declining his offer.

nEven though Zhao Luo wasn’t an evil person but he had already made his mind when he saw the herd of sand lions coming at them.

nHe wasn’t going to benevolent from now on.

nBut he forgot something.

nZhao Luo was never benevolent since the start or he never got a chance to show his benevolence to anyone but now he was walking on a path of power. A way of Immense power that will leave him with immense responsibility.

nThe sand lion heard Zhao Luo’s offer and then looked at his minions who were all dead. Most of them were killed by Rose and Si Chen who were standing behind him.

nHe had no way to get free from this ordeal.

nIf he decided to fight he would surely lose his life on the spot.

n‘Gulp.’

nThe defeated leader of the sand lion wagged his tail and moved his head closer to Zhao Luo letting him pet his head.

nHaha what a smart guy.

nZhao Luo laughed.

nHe placed his hand on the Sand Lions head and petted him.

nI will call you Bimba from now on.

nZhao Luo decided on a name for his first pet. He was feeling rather too excited to even give a name to a beast that he was fighting just moments ago.

nPffftt.

nRose couldn’t help but laugh when she heard the weird name that Zhao Luo gave to one of the scariest beasts of the Sara desert.

n‘What a bad naming sense. I feel bad for his future child.’

nSi Chen now knew what Zhao Luo was bad at. This may as well be one of his weaknesses.

n‘Is Bimba such a bad name? It sounds cool though. Oh man this is so embarrassing.’

nZhao Luo thought as Rose was still laughing at him and Si Chen was looking at him weirdly.

nThen he looked at the sand lion aka Bimba.

nThe sand lion was crying as this was the first time that he had received a name.

n‘Guess you like it.’

nZhao Luo felt glad and as if Bimba could hear his thought.

nRoar.

nBimba gave a low yet sweet cry.

nZhao Luo Rose and Si Chen got on Bimba.

nLet’s go Bimba.

nThey resumed their journey towards the Xin Sect.

n
