nMeng Ze inhaled in pain after talking.

nSu Tang was aware of his kind intentions. She hurriedly interrupted, “Don’t talk so much. Since there isn’t any anesthetic here, your wounds will hurt a lot!”

nMeng Ze shook his head and looked like he had more to say.

nSince he did not continue, Su Tang turned a blind eye.

nThe water in the earthenware jar had started boiling, so she rolled up a large leaf into a cone and cautiously filled it with water to cool.

nAfter a long silence, Meng Ze finally asked, “Healer, I am badly injured. Am I going to die?”

nSu Tang did not know whether to cry or to laugh.

n“Of course not. You just need to rest and get some nourishment. Then you will recover in no time!”

nMeng Ze’s eyes glinted. He pursed his dry cracking lips. “Thank you!”

nSu Tang smiled quietly.

nAfter the water cooled down a little, she released the funnel a little and let the water flow into Meng Ze’s mouth.

n“When Yuanyuan comes back, she can give you water by using a funnel. Since you have a fever, you need to replenish your fluids!”

n“Got it!”

nSu Tang examined the leaf in her hand curiously. It resembled a banana leaf but was a lot stronger!

nIt did not show any signs of turning soft even with the hot water inside, so it was pretty useful!

nBEEP! Information about item retrieved. Do you want to utilize one point to find out?

nSu Tang glared angrily!

nShe decisively picked “no”!

nShe gave Meng Ze more water before Cain came back after washing the goldenrod.

nSu Tang took some of the stems and leaves and placed them in the earthenware jar before telling Cain to watch the fire.

nShe broke the unused goldenrod into small sections.

nThen she took the large leaves in the cave and lay them outside under the sun before placing the sections of goldenrod on the ground to dry them for storage!

nAfter she was done, the sweet scent of the goldenrod made Su Tang a little hungry.

nShe retrieved five or six chestnuts and went up to Cain and chuckled before throwing them into the fire.

n“Cain, are you hungry! Let me make you some chestnuts.”

nCain replied candidly, “No, I’m good!”

nSince Su Tang would get to eat delicious chestnuts very soon, she was in a good mood and did not get upset with Cain!

n“Then don’t take a single one when I am done roasting them!”

n“Okay!”

nSu Tang sneered unhappily.

nThe tiger was so serious!

nSu Tang stopped Cain from adding firewood after most of the water in the earthenware jar had boiled away!

nSu Tang put out the fire and waited for the jar to cool before telling Cain to give Meng Ze the medicine using a funnel-like instrument she created.

nAfter Cain removed the earthenware jar, she eagerly retrieved two skinnier branches from the fire.

nSu Tang dug out the chestnuts from the fire using the branches and left them to cool.

nShe picked up a rock in the cave and used it to hit a chestnut, now black from roasting, and smashed it!

nThe chestnut shell split open crisply!

nSu Tang could not be bothered by the heat with the faint scent of the chestnut wafting in the air. The moment she peeled it open, hot vapor escaped from the chestnut.

nIts yellow flesh appeared even more delectable in contrast to its dark shell!

nShe blew it a couple of times before placing it into her mouth.

nIn an instant, Su Tang narrowed her eyes and beamed in satisfaction. She looked so adorable that Cain stared fixedly at her.

nSince the chestnut was well-cooked, its texture was soft and buttery and smelled fragrant!
