n“Divine Warriors are Beast Warriors who are brave, determined, and lucky enough to be blessed by Beast God.”

n“Divine Warriors can sense energy in the atmosphere. They can use their skills to strengthen a part of their body or awaken other powers! Also, some Divine Warriors can detect elemental energies!”

n“Legend has it that white tigers are born blessed. After becoming Divine Warriors, they can sense gold energy just like me.”

nSu Tang blinked wide-eyed. Was he talking about the five elements gold, wood, water, fire, and earth?

nHowever, Su Tang did not dare ask. After Cain explained what Divine Warriors were about, she clapped and looked at him with admiration. “Wow! That’s brilliant, Cain! You are the most powerful beastman I have ever seen!”

nFlattery always worked.

nShe just needed to distract him with some flattery before he noticed anything amiss about her questions.

nCain looked at Su Tang in the darkness with his eyes burning but said nothing.

nDespite saying this, Su Tang could not help feeling nervous. To begin with, she was already a little cold, but now cold sweat had broken all over her forehead.

nThe more Cain stayed quiet, the guiltier Su Tang felt.

n“It’s getting a little cold. Cain, take me back to the cave, will you?”

n“Uh-huh,” acknowledged Cain before he left her swooning when he carried her back.

nSu Tang climbed onto the stone bed in the dark when they got back to the cave and curled up under the animal skin with only her eyes showing.

nThe cave was quiet, and only the sound of flintstones could be heard as Cain rubbed them together.

nBefore long, the cave lit up slightly.

nCain placed the fire closer to the cave entrance before he said to Su Tang softly, “That should make it warmer. Now you can sleep!”

nSu Tang instantly felt nervous. “Erm… then what about you?”

nCain did not know what the female was driving at. He went quiet for two seconds and said, “I’m going to take care of Meng Ze!”

nSu Tang was a little stunned to hear this.

n“Do I have to stay in the cave alone?”

n“Uh-huh,” replied Cain.

nSu Tang felt upset!

nThe fire was not even bright enough to light up the whole cave, so it was dark and shadowy. Since there was no door, she would not even know if any other creatures came in at night!

nShe felt scared just thinking about it!

nShe looked at Cain pitifully. “Isn’t Yuanyuan taking care of Meng Ze? D-Don’t go, will you?”

nDespite the embarrassment, Su Tang had to say it!

nShe could even sense her face burning up like it was on fire!

nFortunately, the fire was not right next to the bed, and the lighting was dim, so Cain probably failed to notice anything!

nSu Tang was unaware that beastmen had an equally good vision at night for the sake of survival, so Cain caught sight of how shy and adorable she looked.

n“Okay!”

nCain’s eyes glinted slightly as he felt his throat go dry.

nSu Tang finally heaved a sigh of relief.

nSince there was only one piece of animal skin on the stone bed and no pillow, she felt sore sleeping there. Life sure was tough!

nIt was so quiet in the cave that Su Tang could even make out her breathing.

nShe secretly raised her head to see what Cain was doing.

nHer eyes were quickly glued to the white bundle by the side of the stone bed!

nCain had transformed into a tiger again. The moment she recalled how soft he felt, she wanted to stroke him.

nSu Tang said softly, “Cain, why don’t you sleep on the stone bed since it’s quite big?”

nCain ignored her.

nSu Tang refused to give up and continued to say, “Cain, it’s cold on the ground, so you might end up sick!”

nCain continued to disregard her.

nSu Tang kept trying to convince him, “Cain, if you don’t come, I will keep going.”

n
