nYellow Fruit patted Willow’s shoulder encouragingly as she said, “Good luck, Willow! You can do it!”

nWillow lowered her head shyly. “T-thanks…”

nSu Tang asked thoughtfully, “Do you need me to show you one more time?”

nWillow shook her head gently. “It’s okay. I remember how to do this!”

nWillow straightened out the ghost vine before she started weaving the base following Su Tang’s instructions.

nWillow was good with her hands, and the base she had woven was even better than Su Tang’s, so everyone was stunned.

nYellow Fruit also said in shock, “Willow, have you done this before?”

nWillow shook her head and replied softly, “No, I haven’t…”

nSu Tang nonchalantly smiled as she said to the others, “This means Willow is a talented weaver. Keep it up! You are very good at this, Willow!”

nWillow lowered her head nervously and did not even know where to put her hands.

nSu Tang pretended not to see her reaction. “Enough. Let’s keep weaving.”

nAfter making the base, they went on to make the pack basket body. They kept working up from the base to form a round-shaped basket. Each time they finished making a line, they had to press it down to make it seamless.

nIn the process of weaving, it was important to keep shaping the basket. If this was not done, it would affect the shape of the final product.

nHalfway through the weaving, Red Fruit suddenly realized what it was for.

nShe was instantly thrilled!

nShe raised the half-completed basket and asked, “Su Tang, w-what is this called?”

nSu Tang smiled as she explained, “It’s called a pack basket. You can use it to carry a lot of stuff when out gathering, so it makes things easier!”

nRed Fruit smiled happily!

n“Uh-huh! We won’t have to carry so much animal skin when we go out gathering now that we have this! This is good stuff! Thanks for showing us how to make it, Su Tang!”

nSu Tang nodded. “This is just one of the things that can be made through weaving. Based on your needs, you can create other tools as well!”

nRed Fruit was so thrilled that she did not know what to say. Her impression of Su Tang changed completely.

nNo one objected when the Chief said he wanted to keep her around, but Red Fruit knew that many of the tribesmen did not like the idea, just like her.

nAlthough she was pretty, she was too petite and skinny. Everyone felt she was not capable enough to be with the chief!

nHowever, Red Fruit certainly did not feel that way anymore!

nSu Tang told everyone about a fruit that could be stored throughout the cold season and taught them to weave!

nShe was genuinely a kind female!

nThe more Red Fruit looked at Su Tang, the more she liked Su Tang!

nSu Tang felt shy when Red Fruit kept looking at her, so she changed the subject, “Cough, cough. It’s getting late, so let’s weave quickly!”

n“Uh-huh! All right!”

nThe two beastmen who had left with the first batch of chestnuts came back about ten minutes later.

nThey stood beside the others and watched as they wove.

nThe weaving was almost done. Su Tang placed two ghost vine pieces she saved and attached them to the basket before she finished weaving the last two rows.

nSu Tang finished making a pack basket that was 30 centimeters in width and 50 centimeters in height.

nYellow Fruit took it excitedly, automatically carried it on her back, and jumped in joy!

n“This is awesome! Now I can carry a lot of chestnuts back to the tribe on my own!”

nGreen Grass looked at Yellow Fruit’s basket earnestly. “Yellow Fruit, let me try it too!”

nSince Yellow Fruit still found the basket novel, she refused to remove it from her shoulders!
