nThe Persian cat kept meowing next to him. Fu Sichen looked at the cat, finally noticing Pei Zhen’s softened expression.
n“You want me to dry my hair?” Fu Sichen couldn’t help but smile, “Dad will do that in a bit. Thank you.”
nFu Sichen carelessly threw the towel over his own head, continuing to flip through the stack of notes. Pei Zhen automatically ignored the word “Dad,” suddenly feeling like Fu Sichen wasn’t so bad after all.
nThis was a god-given talent.
nPei Zhen believed that Fu Sichen would be able to carry on Pei Zhen’s self-created calligraphy style if he kept working diligently!
nEver since becoming a cat, Pei Zhen had rarely slept as well as he did that night. The next morning, he woke up in a very good mood.
nThe Persian cat was very well-behaved, allowing Fu Sichen to help him dress up in his pet suit. Pei Zhen had even stretched out his paws to give Fu Sichen a pat on the shoulder.
nIt was reasonable and innocent for an apprentice to bathe and change his master’s clothes.
nFu Sichen frowned.
nFu Sichen felt like something was off. But, even after thinking about it for a while, he still couldn’t figure out what was wrong.
nFu Sichen didn’t understand cat language. However, if he could, he probably would have strangled Pei Zhen to death.
nThe day before, Fu Sichen had spent the entire day filming the trailer for the online game. He expected that he only needed to film for one more day before he was done with this job.
nFu Sichen hadn’t intended to bring the cat to the film studio.
nLin Yousu would be there, and Fu Sichen had never stopped thinking that she wanted to take the Persian cat back. However, after what happened the night before, Fu Sichen felt like Lin Yousu wasn’t as much of a threat as Xiao Nian was. So, he felt like she wasn’t worth getting worked up over.
nWang Youquan had bought breakfast with him.
nXiao Nian came with him.
nAfter last night’s incident, the meeting that morning was even more awkward than usual. After his eyes met Fu Sichen’s cold stare, Xiao Nian was so nervous that he almost swore away his innocence.
n“I, Xiao Nian, swear that if I ever try to steal the cat again, then all of my artistes will never become Best Actor.”
nPei Zhen, someone who was aspiring to be Best Actor, shot poison darts at Xiao Nian with his eyes.
n“Hmph.” Fu Sichen gave a cold laugh with an expression to match, “That’s not your business anymore.”
nFu Sichen didn’t understand why Xiao Nian had come. Fu Sichen tried hinting that he wasn’t welcome here, and that seeing him around was an eyesore.
n“Oh, this…” Xiao Nian forced a laugh in an attempt to suck up to Fu Sichen, “The journey to and from here is really long, and traveling alone would be lonely. Therefore, I thought that it might be nice if we all traveled together and kept each other company.”
nXiao Nian had never been on a private jet before, so he really wanted to experience what kind of exquisite service they had onboard.
nFu Sichen could see through Xiao Nian’s thoughts, but didn’t reject him.
nAfter finishing up the most important part of the day, which was making sure that Pei Pei had been served breakfast, everybody headed out to the studio.
nThe Persian cat sat on Fu Sichen’s shoulder, and the two Great Managers followed behind them. This scene immediately gave Fu Sichen a lot of clout.
nOn the way to the studio, they even ran into Lin Yousu. The pretty lady’s jaw dropped when she saw this entourage; she was puzzled by this situation.
n“Miss Lin Yousu.” In the midst of this confrontation, Xiao Nian broke the silence by saying, “Good morning.”
nIn the beginning, Xiao Nian didn’t feel any particular way about Lin Yousu. However, after watching her soap opera, he had started to idolize her. Therefore, when he saw her, he automatically smiled like a fool.
n“Oh, good morning.” Lin Yousu was a little distant when addressing Xiao Nian. She wasn’t very curious about why Xiao Nian was there. Rather, she was more focused on Fu Sichen. “Best Actor Fu, are you bringing Jerry to the studio?”
n
