Chapter 191 - Jealousy

Gu Nian’s expression cracked a little.

He turned to me. “Nanxing, my words are always true. If you ever change your mind, come find me. I will always be there.” He stood up and smiled politely, “Enjoy your meal. I will take my leave. Nanxing, congratulations again.” He didn’t even glance at Jing Tian before he walked away.

I looked at his back and was stunned!

Jing Tian tapped my head with his chopsticks. He said angrily, “Come back to me! The man has already left!”

I quickly explained, “Jing Tian, I really have no idea he likes me!”

Jing Tian glared at me. “Silly girl, how can you not know that?!”

Help, I’m really innocent!

Jing Tian put down his chopsticks. “Are you full?”

I quickly nodded. “Yes, of course. You should eat some, I notice you haven’t eaten anything!”

“I can’t eat anymore! I’m stuffed from anger alone! Come, let’s go home!” Jing Tian stood up and left. I hurriedly followed behind him. Jing Tian’s expression was cold. I surrounded him like a puppy. But no matter how hard I tried to placate him, he didn’t respond to me.

I got into the car with a worried expression. I fastened my seatbelt. Just as Jing Tian started the car, I grabbed his left hand. “Jing Tian, I was wrong. Please you not ignore me?”

“How were you wrong?” Jing Tian started the engine and asked me coldly.

“I…” How would I know that?! I really had no idea what I had done wrong. I didn’t even know Gu Nian liked me! Gu Nian, you bastard! Why did you have to confess to me before Jing Tian? You have to come and ruin everything! Oh, woe is me.

“My mistake is not listening to you and continuing doing business with Gu Nian.” The sentence popped into my mind and I believed it could save my life. As I hoped, Jing Tian’s expression lightened and I secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

Along the way home, I picked my words carefully. Even though Jing Tian was no longer that angry, he still ignored me.

When we were home, I followed behind Jing Tian like a defeated puppy. I felt so frustrated. I followed Jing Tian carefully into his room, racking my brain to think of ways to make him feel better.

As soon as the door closed, Jing Tian pulled me into his arms and kissed me. I was startled by this. I instinctively tried to dodge his kiss but his hand locked my head into place. His other hand wrapped around my waist so I was unable to move. Jing Tian had never been so domineering before. I could feel his anger and determination.

My heart softened and I leaned into him. I allowed him to conquer my heart and I surrendered to him. He only let me go when I was out of breath.

He touched his forehead to mine and he demanded in a hoarse voice. “Nanxing, say that you love me.”

“I love you!” I said without hesitation.

“That’s so insincere.” He was not satisfied.

I chuckled and circled my arms around his neck. “Jing Tian, I love you. For the rest of my life, I want to be together with you!”

I looked at my reflection in his eyes. I was smiling. Jing Tian pressed me into his body.

I heard him say gloomily, “I regret promising Tong Le that I will wait until you’re 22.”

I patted his back. “Well, he’s not here now.”

He sighed softly after some time. “You’re such a troublesome little thing!”

The storm was finally over!

For the first time, Jing Tian had displayed his love openly for me! I had to thank Gu Nian for that, of course, I only dared to do that in my heart.
