Chapter 511: Sea Wolves

We quickly found the warehouse.

“Wow, there is so much delicious food and so many things!” Banxia exclaimed happily.

I was a little puzzled. How long was the original voyage supposed to be, considering the number of supplies prepared?

“Miss, I’ll cook a few more delicious dishes for them tonight. Will they stop being angry?” Banxia asked me while holding two bags of lobsters and a bag of abalones.

I looked at her indifferently. “Cook some noodles. The simpler, the better. They just had a fierce battle, and they have to mourn. It’s not an occasion for celebration.”

Banxia’s mood immediately fell. She sighed and put the things back. She started to search for other ingredients.

There were two knocks on the door. I turned around and saw Lu Heng standing at the door. I believed he heard what we said.

We looked at each other and were silent for a few seconds. “Miss, please come to the captain’s room.”

I nodded and followed him.

Everyone in the room stood up.

It turned out that I had missed two people earlier. There was a pair of grandfather and grandson. They were the captain and first mate.

The captain was not young. His beard was white. His grandson looked like he was in his twenties and had a childish look on his face.

“This is Uncle Yuan and Little Yuan. They are the best helmsmen on our island,” Lu Heng introduced them briefly.

I bowed to the grandfather and grandson. “Uncle Yuan.”

Uncle Yuan was flattered. He quickly waved his hand. “Miss, you shouldn’t bow to me.”

He pulled Little Yuan to bow to me instead.

I nodded slightly. “Thank you for your hard work.”

I looked at Lu Heng.

Lu Heng led me to the map. “Miss, our original plan was to go here. This is an independent country in Europe. Sir has a company there that does foreign trade. I would like to discuss this with you. Should we go according to our original plan? Or do you have another destination in mind?”

I looked at the map in front of me and smiled bitterly. “Lu Heng, all my memories are of the island we had just left. I don’t know anything about the outside world.”

Lu Heng was silent.

We looked at each other and understood each other’s meaning. Since my uncle was gone, I was free to decide my fate.

I took a deep breath. “If I go to this country, will my uncle’s company know of my existence?” Will people recognize my identity?

Lu Heng nodded. “We planned to set off next month. The people there have received the news. They know of Miss’ identity.” Lu Heng lowered his gaze. When he lifted his eyes, his gaze was clear. “Sir and the young master have never been on good terms, so Sir left his inheritance to Miss. However, I have no idea which country’s lawyer is responsible for Sir’s will. However, once we land and release the news, the lawyer will come looking for you.”

I was a little surprised.

Lu Heng took a step back. “Lu Heng is one of Sir’s guards. I am the leader of the Sea Wolves. Sea Wolves are willing to follow Miss forever!” After saying that, he knelt down on one knee and placed his right hand on his heart to salute me.

The five people behind him did the same. “Sea Wolves are willing to follow Miss forever!”

I looked at them in shock. I never expected this, especially since my uncle was no longer around.

I stepped forward and placed my hand on his shoulder. I said in a light yet firm voice, “Nanxing is willing to share life and death with the Sea Wolves! We will share the wealth, poverty, fortune, and misfortune together!”

Apart from Lu Heng, the other five looked up at me in shock.

I smiled and patted Lu Heng’s shoulder.

Lu Heng stood up.. I could see the tears at the corner of his eyes.
