Chapter 268 - Troublemaker Obitos

“Chen, are you done?”

“No.” Chen Zhao’s face darkened. “I just beat up that client. He’s an old bastard.”

“Why?”

“Whatever, let’s stop talking about this and go.” Chen Zhao held Fali’s wrist.

“Oh.” Fali didn’t ask any questions.

When they got home, Chen Zhao used the alcohol effect and did another round with Fali.

Next morning.

Fali woke up early while Chen Zhao was still lying in bed. “Don’t you have any clients today?”

“Not in the morning,” Chen Zhao replied sleepily, eyes still closed.

“Fine, then sleep more. I prepared breakfast for you. Get up and eat it.”

“Okay.”

“Your bruise is gone. What ointment did you use?”

“I made it myself. Do you want it?”

“Give me some. I’ll save it just in case.”

“It’s in my toolkit. It’s black with words on it.”

After kissing him, Fali went to work. Chen Zhao slept for another hour until a phone woke up him.

“Hello.”

“Chen, what are you doing now?” It was Daniel’s voice on the other end.

“Sleeping.”

“Can you help me?”

“Do what?”

“Can you come to the aquarium?”

“Can I say no?”

“Of course not.”

“Give me the address. What aquarium?”

“L.A. Blue Aquarium.”

“Okay, I’ll get there ASAP.”

Chen Zhao hung up. Checking the time, he saw that it was already nine o’clock. It was time to get up anyway.

After washing up, he felt much more awake.

He arrived at the aquarium and saw Daniel in the staff uniform.

“Chen, you’re here. Great.”

“Daniel, you work here?”

“No, I’m a volunteer,” Daniel said. “Hurry, come with me.”

“What about them?” Chen Zhao pointed at his followers.

“Black Ma, White Ma, Carrie, Beelzebub, Obitos…” Daniel immediately called for his colleagues. “Holm, come help walk them.”

The worker named Holm looked at Obitos, a bit afraid to get close. Obitos grew quickly. Right now, he looked like an adult Komodo dragon. He was three meters long and weighed more than 150 kilograms.

Obitos hissed. Unless they were close to Chen Zhao, no one dared to approach Obitos.

“Don’t worry,” Daniel said nonchalantly. “Obitos doesn’t bite.”

Then Obitos suddenly jumped up and bumped into Daniel. Seeing how aggressive he was, Holm was even more scared.

Obitos’ figure was like a Komodo dragon, but his color was completely different. He also had a flatter and shorter tongue. A Komodo dragon near Obitos’ size could have a one-meter-long tongue.

“Obitos, stop fooling around. Look how scared Holm is… Holm, Obitos really doesn’t bite.”

Not making it easy for anyone, Obitos opened up his awning mouth. Holm paled from fear. He’d rather die than take Obitos out for a walk.

“Chen, you should just leave Obitos at home,” Daniel said, smiling wryly. “He’s scary like this.”

Hearing this, Obitos grew upset. He smacked Daniel’s leg with his tail. Daniel jumped aside in pain.

“Oh, you’re upset after I say that,” Daniel said. “If you’re obedient and don’t scare people, I wouldn’t have said that. Whatever. Holm, go walk the others. Chen, you better look after Obitos and don’t let him bite the creatures.”Read more chapter on NovelFull

Chen Zhao kicked Obitos. “If you dare bite any animal here, I’m only giving you water for the next month.”

He turned toward the other. “Daniel, what did you call me here for?”

“A seal here is sick. Can you help me check it?”

“What, you think I’m a vet?” Chen Zhao turned to leave.

Daniel quickly grabbed him. “Chen, you’re a Druid. Shouldn’t you treat animals who are hurt?”

“I’m not a Druid and I’m not a vet.”

“But you’re such a good doctor. You can treat the seal.”

“I’ve never done it before and I don’t know how to.” Chen Zhao really didn’t want to treat some seal.

“Ten thousand dollars.”

“Where’s the seal? Take me there. I love animals!”

“Hey…where’s Obitos?”

Daniel and Chen Zhao looked down to find that Obitos was gone.

“Daniel, go find Obitos. That bastard killed many pets in Mountain Town. I don’t even dare talk about it.”

Obitos had a really dark history. Chen Zhao got many headaches because of him. He was really afraid that Obitos would start killing in the aquarium. Then there would really be a problem.

“Winnip, how old are you?” Laurent asked, annoyed. “You still like aquariums?”

“Did you forget? This is where we met.” Winnip seemed to be sentimental.

Just then, Laurent kicked something.

“Ah!” He looked down and almost peed his pants. A huge animal was resting by his feet, baring its sharp teeth.

Behind him, Kane, Howard, and Karim who’d acted as robbers yesterday pulled Winnip and Laurent aside. The red lizard darted forward and bit Laurent’s leg.

“I’m dead!” Laurent screamed. “I got bitten…My leg got bitten…”

“Hurry—pull it off!” Winnip was also pale from fear.

That lizard was too big. It was practically a crocodile. Kane moved to the back to try and pull the lizard’s tail, but Obitos swept his tail. Kane faceplanted onto the ground.

Obitos moved his head and pulled Laurent from Howard and Karim’s hands.

“Shoot! Shoot…” Winnip cried.

“Boss, we didn’t bring guns.”

Obitos crawled onto Laurent while the man lay on the ground, not daring to move. Winnip kept smacking Obitos with her purse, but Obitos wasn’t hurt even after she broke her purse.

Obitos stuck his tongue out and licked Laurent’s face.

“Obitos!” Daniel finally hurried over. He was also shocked to see the dragon on top of someone.

Glancing at Daniel, Obitos moved off Laurent and crawled toward Winnip.

“Miss, Miss, don’t move,” Daniel warned. “Obitos doesn’t bite.”

He was worried that Winnip would try stepping on Obitos with her heels and anger the dragon.

Winnip was frozen from fear. Obitos licked Winnip’s feet and then walked away, shaking his head.
