nNone of them bet that she was still a virgin.

nAlthough it was a fact, it was still too hurtful!

nNobody asked her if she was okay with that!

nFine. If you want to gamble, I’ll make you gamble your money away.

nGu Bailu took money out from her pocket. “Fine, let’s gamble. However, you need to specify the terms of the bet.”

n“Do we need to specify the terms? Just take off your pants for an inspection.”

n“Of course we do. I’m a woman, after all. How can I just take off my pants? How long will the bet be in effect for?”

nEverybody whispered among themselves, thinking that it wasn’t that big a deal.

nThe manager hurriedly came over. “We have midwives here. The midwives of Ronghua Tower are absolutely fair.”

n“What if they can’t obtain a result?” asked Gu Bailu.

n“You must be kidding.” The manager turned gloomy.

n“Who knows? There must be a time limit. If there isn’t a result in two hours, the bet is over.”

nThe manager said in disdain, “Two hours is too long. The result will be out before half an hour is up. Someone!”

nGu Bailu smiled and tossed the money on the counter. “Alright. I bet that you won’t know the answer to the bet.”

nEverybody laughed as if they had heard the greatest joke.

nLaugh now, because you’ll be crying later.

nGu Bailu was brought to a room. Soon, two midwives came in together.

nGu Bailu cast a spell and set the ghost free from the bracelet. “Wait for my instructions.”

n“Miss Gu, don’t make things difficult for us. Lie down so that we can examine you,” one of them said impolitely.

nGu Bailu stared at them. Their spiritual powers weren’t high, but they had both done many bad things. One of them had even killed several babies whose spiritual powers weren’t good enough.

nGu Bailu sneered. “Come if you dare.”

nShe waved her hand. The temperature of the room immediately dropped.

n“Go now. It’s time to do what you do. Freak them out.”

nThe midwives shuddered for no good reason, feeling that something was wrong.

nThey had barely reached the bed when a head fell from the ceiling and floated before them. Their eyes almost popped out.

nThe ghost opened its mouth and tried to bite them. They retreated in horror.

nThe ghost blinked and stopped before them. “Give me back my life.”

nThey collapsed on their knees. “Don’t come near me, don’t come near me. It wasn’t me…”

n“If you do anything evil, ghosts will be drawn to you.” Gu Bailu waved her hand and got the ghost to sit next to her.

nShe touched the ghost’s head. “A job well done. If they don’t obey, go play with them every night.”

nThe midwives trembled on the ground, unable to say a word.

nShe was raising a ghost!

nA ghost!

nGu Bailu put the ghost back into her bracelet and asked lazily, “Are you going to examine me or not?”

nThe midwives got back on their feet and rushed out.

nGu Bailu calculated the time. It wasn’t even a quarter of an hour yet.

nSoon, another two midwives came in. They hadn’t killed anyone, but had still done plenty of mean things.

nWhen they walked in, Gu Bailu patted their foreheads and cast a spell, before she said slowly, “Dance now.”

nThe two of them began to writhe obediently.

nGu Bailu lay on the bed with her legs crossed. “Get out once you’re tired of dancing.”

nThey were truly eyesores when they danced.
