n”So, what made you dropped the cups like that?! You could have gotten hurt.” Ying Sheng queried, staring at him.

n”You.” Liam blurted out before he could stop himself. He widened his eyes when he realized what he had said.

n”Me? What did I do?” Ying Sheng asked with a confused frown marred on her forehead.

nLiam fidgeted and stared at the cup he was holding.

n”I-You looked so-sexy- wearing my sweater that I.. just lost it.” He said awkwardly.

nAfter what seemed like forever but clearly a few seconds, he took a risk and looked at her.

nHe saw a devilish sparkle in her eyes.

nYing Sheng slid closer to him, her eyes roaming his face.

n”Oh, so you had dirty thoughts seeing me in your sweater?” Ying Sheng whispered in his ears, her breathing heavily in the crock of his neck, making him shiver.

nLiam gulped, and his eyes widened when he realized how close they were. His heartbeat was erratic; clearly, he wasn’t expecting her to ask this. Liam didn’t know how to respond.

n’Should I say yes?’

nHe thought as he exhaled slowly, his chest dropping then rising.

nYing Sheng grinned, “Do I make you nervous, Liam?” she asked, playing with the hem of his shirt.

n”Urm..I-“

nYing Sheng chuckled and shook her head.

n”Do you have a beer?” Leaning back on the sofa, she inquired, cutting him off.

nLiam released the breath he had been unconsciously holding. Fortunately, she had changed the topic.

n”Ah, yes. My brother bought some the last time he came here.”

nYing Sheng beamed when she heard him.

n”Good!”

nLiam squinted his eyes, “Why? Do you want to drink?”

nYing Sheng shook her head, “Nope, we are.”

nLiam scrunched his face. Seeing his reaction, Ying Sheng raised her left brow.

n”Don’t tell me you have never had a beer before?”

nLiam flushed, scratched his nose, and shook his head.

n”No.”

nYing Sheng widened her eyes as she stared at him in bewilderment.

n”Hmm, Cutie, you’re too innocent.”

nYing Sheng complained as she picked the cup on the table and gulped down the ginger-tea.

n”Now, drink the tea, and let’s taint you a bit.”

nLiam felt the blood rushing to his cheeks.

n’What was she suggesting?’

n”Is it safe to drink beer after drinking this ginger-tea?” Liam asked worriedly.

nYing Sheng chortled when she heard him.

n”Don’t worry, Cutie, you will live. Now hurry, and let’s play a game.”

nLiam swallowed, “A game?”

nYing Sheng nodded with a naughty smile on her face.

n”Yeah, it called two truths, one lie.” Ying Sheng said.

n”Both of us will take turns, I will tell three things about myself, two are true, but one is not. So you will guess which one is the lie. If you get it wrong, you drink. If you get it right, I drink. Then you add a little background story to it.”

nYing Sheng explained with a wide grin.

n”Do you want to play?”

nLiam had never played a drinking game before; scratch that he has never even drink before.

nLiam looked up and met her eyes, gleaming with expectations. He couldn’t bear to refuse so he nodded.

n”How long will it take?” He asked.

n”Until one of us is completely wasted.” She said with a wide grin.

nLiam went to bring two glasses and the beers.

nA mischievous glint passed through Ying Sheng’s eyes.

n”Okay, I will start.” Ying Sheng said as she bit the inside of her cheeks as if thinking about what to ask.

n”I’m scared of cats, I have kissed a girl before, I can sing.”

nLiam blinked a couple of times before answering.

n”You are scared of cats.”

nA wicked grin spilled from Ying Sheng’s lips.

n”Wrong!” She squealed.

nLiam widened his eyes in disbelief. He found the image of Ying Sheng being afraid of cats weird. How can the infamous Miss Ying fear cats?

n”Wait, you’re afraid of cats?”

nHe asked, his mouth in opened in shock. Ying Sheng felt he looked cute.

n”Yeah, I have always been afraid of them since I was a kid.”

nYing Sheng said, refilling a glass for him.

n”Oh, so what is the lie?” Liam asked awkwardly.

n”As much as I will like to kiss a girl, I haven’t done it yet.”

nLiam blushed, “Oh.”

nYing Sheng picked the glass for him, “Now drink.”

nLiam started at the liquid in the glass and swallowed.

n”Hurry.” Ying Sheng smirked.

nLiam closed his eyes and quaffed the shot in one gulp. The bitter taste spread in his mouth. His throat burned, and he tried not to grimace.

nShaking his head, he covered his mouth with his hands.

nYing Sheng threw her head and laughed, amused by his reaction.

n”Cutie, how is it? Do you like it?”

nYing Sheng asked. It seemed like she was having fun.

n”Well, it is okay. I guess.”

nYing Sheng grinned, “Don’t worry, you will fall in love with it once we are done with you.”

nLiam rubbed the back of his neck.

n’Why did he even agree to this?’ he inwardly sighed.

n”Your turn.”

nLiam nodded, “I like fast foods, I like ice cream, I have kissed a girl before.”

nYing Sheng stared at him with a blank expression on her face. Then she suddenly bursted into fits of laughter, her hand trying to muffle the mischievous laugh.”

n”Seriously?” She asked, still cracking up.

nLiam’s face turned red, and he looked away, trying to hide his blush.

n”Cutie, I know you have kissed no one before. That is so easy!”

nShe cleared her throat and beckoned at him, “Come closer.”

nLiam narrowed his eyes, but he leaned over.

n”Closer.” She repeated.

nLiam moved closer to her. Suddenly she traced her finger on his lower lips causing him to feel a shiver along his spine.

nIn a flash, she kissed him.

nLiam widened his eyes as he felt sparks going off in his head.

n’If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up.’
