Chapter 1037 Against Demi Gods
Chapter 1037 Against Demi Gods
Before advancing to the Driekta stage, and before creating the prototype of the UTC, Jason first wanted to figure out what kinds of runic constellations he wanted to inscribe into the God’s Halo.
This was quite important because runic constellations were compounds made up of millions of inter-connected runes that replicated specific abilities and effects.
It was even possible for him to replicate the materialization of the Dragonhead, spitting out highly potent flames.
And this technique was something that could be considered Solaris’ signature attack.
It loved to use the shape of the golden-eyed black dragon, which was why it used this attack over and over again.
In the end, Jason knew that it was the Origin flames’ strongest ability.
Because of that, he considered inscribing it on his God’s Halo to replicate it at will.
However, that was not necessary because he had Solaris by his side.
The Origin flame could just do it on its own, without the need to waste precious space on the God’s Halo.
As such, once Jason was done with inscribing all the soul armaments, he entered a deep train of thoughts, trying to figure out what he should do next.
‘Would it be better for me to finish the UTC device first, and then inscribe the runes on the God’s Halo, or should I take the other way around?’
It would make little to no difference because he had more than enough experience in completing both tasks.
He had the necessary resources, was able to inscribe the vast majority of miniature runes, and had the time and a rough idea about what to do with both the UTC device and the God’s Halo.
But even then, Jason felt incapable of deciding what he was supposed to do right now.
Jennifer noticed this, and she decided to give him a helping hand, and grasped his stiff shoulder to attract his attention before saying,
“Let’s release some stress. You should let your mind be at ease. I heard that there is a combat event today. How about we join it for a fight or two?”
Hearing this, Jason was slightly astonished.
He didn’t expect Jennifer to be aware of anything that happened outside the facilities of the auxiliary buildings, and the library.
As such, he required a few seconds before he nodded his head.
“Should we go to the underground colosseum then?” He asked, and Jennifer nodded her head vigorously in response, smiling brightly as she dragged him along.
Passing through numerous large tunnels that were lit up by luminous stones that were artfully manufactured into beautiful lamps.
Clearly remembering the paths through the ginormous complex of the entire Empire, Jason felt like teleporting straight to the underground colosseum.
However, Jennifer rejected this idea as she wanted to spend some more time with him.
During the last 500 years, they had always been around each together, but it was not enough for her to feel like they had spent a lot of quality time.
On the contrary, the few days and nights they had spent together were beautiful, and it made Jennifer even less willing to leave Jason’s side as long as the UTC device was not completed.
Even then, Jennifer was not sure if she could leave him directly after the UTC device was fully constructed, or if she would want to spend some more time with him.
It was a difficult decision, so Jennifer decided to make her final choice only when she was certain about the right thing to do.
“You said that you had tweaked your movement and martial art technique as well, right?” Jason suddenly asked, dragging Jennifer out of her thoughts.
Shaking her head, she repeated his words in her mind before nodding her head.
“Yeah, I thought that most martial art techniques are not really suitable for my merged energies, and due to the fused bloodlines, I felt like I should create techniques that have been customized to my preferences.”
When Jennifer said this, Jason just nodded his head.
He had felt similar to Jennifer in this regard.
Even if techniques such as the Hermes Celeration were exceptional, they were only at the Luna rank.
However, even then, Jason was pretty sure that by altering the Hermes Celeration movement technique he would gain most of the benefits.
But the same was not the case with other techniques, as even the Divine Maestro Cultivation manual had become useless to him.
Because of that, Jason was only using the altered Hermes Celeration movement technique and the Kanadi of a Primordial refinement technique.
For improving everything else, he used his exceptional control of mana, and divine energy, in order to enhance the functions of the body parts, particularly his limbs that were required for every respective movement he did.
This would make things far easier than learning a Sun ranked technique that might not even be comparable to other techniques.
The Dwarf Gods might have told him that techniques called Stellar existed and that they were used by gods, or candidates with the potential to become Gods, but Jason didn’t care about them either.
In the end, a technique simply enhanced one’s strength, with the precise usage of one’s cultivated energy.
That was also the reason why some unique existences didn’t use the readymade techniques available for everyone to use but created their own.
And that required precise knowledge about one’s anatomy, the effect of each strand of energy one possessed and much more.
With that in mind, it was quite exceptional for both Jason and Jennifer to be able to use their own techniques, or to alter techniques in order to make them perfectly compatible with one’s condition and cultivation energies.
While having a lengthy discussion about this for quite some time, they reached the underground colosseum without much delay.
The colosseum was ginormous, to put it simply. It had more than 100 layers and spanned up to several hundred kilometers.
Numerous Dwarves were fighting against each other, without weapons, and made use of just their fists in order to land high-velocity punches with powerful impact.
Suddenly, he saw something in particular, and it was as if a bolt of lightning jolted through his body.
Numerous ideas flashed through his mind as he exclaimed,
“I know what I need!!!”
His exclamation attracted lots of attention, but Jason didn’t care about that at all.
He began to visualize several runes, which he began to combine into a complex constellation.
In no time, the constellation of miniature runes grew bigger and continued to increase in size.
And finally, after several minutes, he was done, only to see the visualization of a constellation made out of more than five million runes right in front of him.
However, the final result was something that allowed him to smile brightly as he mumbled,
“That’s perfect for my God’s Halo!!”
But even before Jason was able to rejoice about having found a solution, Jennifer was already tugging at his clothes.
“Don’t think too much, dumbo! You are supposed to let your mind rest, and relax while releasing your entire strength for once!”
She reminded him, frustrated that Jason was only thinking about his God’S Halo and the UTC device.
As such, she dragged him onto the battlefield after speaking to two other High Rulic Dwarves that seemed to be familiar with Jennifer.
They were at the Driekta stage, and stared at Jason with deep black eyes, clearly sensing that he was not to be taken lightly.
‘Is that the man Jennifer had been talking about all day?!’ They asked themselves, only to look at each other.
Both female High Rulic Dwarves knew Jennifer from the days she had spent inside the library.
Back then she had received lots of help from them and spent time with the two female Dwarves when Jason had been fully focused on receiving lessons from the Two Dwarf Gods.
As such, Jennifer asked the two female Demi Gods to fight against Jason with all their might.
She didn’t plan to join them but simply allowed Jason to give his all, to release his stress, and to have his mind at ease during the fight, even if it was just for a short time.
Deep within her conscience, she knew that Jason had to release his tension in order to clear his head and achieve everything he had thought of.
Yet, what Jennifer expected the least was what Jason asked just a moment later.
“Traditional fistfight, with weapons, or only artillery?”
