Chapter 508: A Flag!

***Author Note***

As most of you have probably noticed, we are getting rather close to the end, so how about giving me your sweet sweet power stones.

***End of Author Note***

Although Madara was surprised that someone managed to dispel the Edo Tensei, in the end, it didn’t matter.

“Bunch of children playing with jutsu they don’t understand.”

Madara went through a series of complex hand signs, and a moment later, the white glow around him vanished. The Edo Tensei binds a summon to a summoner in a contract. As long as the contract isn’t canceled, whoever was called will stay in this world indefinitely.

However, Orochimaru had canceled the contract, so why was Madara still here? He basically took over Orochimaru’s role as the summoner and now holds both positions in the contract.

Hashirama sighed deeply when he noticed what Madara did, and quickly copied his actions. He would prefer this conflict to simply end here, but it seems it wouldn’t be so easy. Yuna sighed in relief when Madara and Hashirama both managed to anchor themselves in this world. Although she knew that Madara was supposed to know how it works from Hisoka’s knowledge, Yuna had no idea if this Madara knew about it as well, nor did she know whether Hashirama could do it or not.

‘Well, seems like there is no need to dish out any punishments.’

As these thoughts flashed through Yuna’s mind, a shiver went through Itachi’s soul, which had already returned to the Pure Land.

‘Seems like it got resolved. She probably would have summoned me if it didn’t work out, huh?’

Back on the battlefield, Hashirama was just about to separate from Madara so he could team up with Yuna and Naruto to defeat him when a seething glare landed on him, making him shiver.

“You better not think about suddenly switching sides, Hashirama~”

Hashirama looked at the source of the voice and couldn’t help but shudder a little when he was greeted by pair of intensely-glowing purple eyes. Sweat started flowing down his back when he saw the familiar sight of a female Uzumaki glaring at him, with her menacingly floating hair behind her.

There was only one thing he could do in this kind of situation. He sighed deeply while letting his shoulders slump in defeat. Unfortunately, he was rather weak against women with fiery temperaments.

Madara chuckled in amusement due to Hashirama getting whipped in shape by a woman again, causing him some nostalgia. However, moments later, he shook his head to get rid of idle thoughts and lowered his stance, causing the Susanoo and the giant Buddha to do the same. Two gigantic glowing swords appeared in Susanoo’s hands, while the Buddha’s thousand hands started spreading out menacingly.

Simultaneously, the giant nine-tailed fox grew two more hands on its back, and moments later, two monstrous spheres with shuriken-like blades appeared on in both of them. Both of them were as black as the night and seemed to be spinning at high speed.

Finally, an highly ornamented two-handed sword appeared in its two hands, increasing the pressure it gave of even further.

The first two attacks were Naruto’s, who controlled the two hands that grew from Kurama’s back. Frankly, he didn’t have the chakra control to create two at once with one hand each, but since he was currently literally only controlling two arms while Yua took over the rest of the massive chakra body, he could do it. He reeled back his arms and threw the two spinning orbs of death at the Madara and Hashirama duo.

“Massive Twin Bijuudama: Rasenshuriken”

The giant figure raised its two swords and vertically slashed down one of the orbs each; however, the swords got stuck about halfway through the attack instead of cutting through the chakra balls.

Before they could explode, Hashirama made a move as his golem’s 1000 hands started moving. Around 100 of them moved in front of Madara and Hashirama, protecting them from whatever explosion might occur, while the remaining 900 shot towards Yuna and Naruto.

Yuna, who hadn’t moved a single step yet and had her eyes closed in concentration, took a deep breath as the atmosphere around her instantly grew colder. She opened her eyes as a glint passed through them, and she started moving. She instantly appeared in front of Madara and Hashirma and moved her sword at lightning speed.

“Ice Sword Style: Sword Domain: Infinite Heavenly Slashes”

Yuna’s swords blurred, and before anyone could understand what just happened, the sword returned to its initial position.

Time seemed to stand still, and while onlookers perceived it like it took multiple seconds, all arms of Hashirama’s wooden golem were shredded into millions of wood splinters within an instant.

This time, it was Naruto’s turn to make a move again, as he simply teleported a few hundred meters away to a position where he had previously planted a teleportation marker. Naturally, he took Yuna with him.

Meanwhile, the two Bijuudama and the two swords were still clashing, but while Yuna used her technique, Madara’s words faltered, allowing the two attacks to break through Madara’s and Hashirama’s defense.

Hashirama was still slightly stunned from having his golem destroyed; Madara should have easily found a way to dodge or block the incoming attack. However, he didn’t.

“MADARA, WHAT ARE YOU… doing?”

Naturally, Hashirama wasn’t happy that Madara was slacking off, but when he saw his facial expression, he couldn’t help but be surprised.

Madara seemed to be completely dazed. Blood was freely flowing out of his eyes and nose, and he seemed to be incapable of perceiving his surroundings.

Well, looking at Yuna’s more flashy sword techniques with a Sharingan was not always a good idea. Especially not if it is something Yuna needed some time to prepare herself for. Without Naruto supporting her, that was not a move she would be willing to use in her current state.

The two Bijuudama found their targets, resulting in a massive, mountain-destroying explosion, which shredded the massive Susanoo-coated Budda golem to pieces.

The onlookers could only watch in awe as two small figures crashed into the ground in front of the towering figure of a nine-tailed fox.

“N-No way. D-Did they actually do it?”

If Yuna had heard that random comment, she would have undoubtedly commented with: That’s a flag!
