Chapter 32 - Raiders Part 2

nThe village was in great turmoil, Villagers were split to putting out the fire and others were readying themselves for the bandit's attacks.
nSounding bells echoed the vicinity and the burning wheat field was what displayed in the scenery, painted the surroundings with fire. Villagers were seemingly doing their best efforts to do what they need to do.
nKids were crying and was shushed by their mothers. Smokes rose towards the skies and the wind was blowing the fire without rest.
nVillagers that were mostly men were armed to fight for their lives. Not surrendering at their predicament and so the girls were tasked by their village elders to put out the fire.
nEven though they were just a few, they were doing their best and so was Joan.
nThey surrounded Joan with all their numbers and were infuriated as he killed their brethren. .
nThe other bandits made him preoccupied and so the others were heading to the village.
n
"Men! Let's kill anything that moves and leave the women behind! We will enjoy first before we leave!
" shouted their leader that has a skull helm with deer horns.
nThey laughed as they dashed towards the village tower. Only one guard was stationed there and so he panicked.
nAll he could do was alarm the village with the bronze bell they have. Screaming as the bandits were heading his way.
nJoan easily eliminated the others who were only numbered three.
nHe was chasing the remaining bandits who were planning to attack the village proper.
nJoan jumped at them and slashed his wooden sword to the ground. Upon his attempt, he successfully triggered the Earth element. Making the dirt to throw all over the place.
nThe Earth Element made the sword increase its weight to a ton and making it harder.
nSome of the enemies were struck with the dirt and suffered damage.
nThey encircled their enemy and Joan emerged from the dust. Without wasting their precious time, he slashed the nearest from him.
nFire explosion burst from the sword as he hits it to his enemy's axe. Making him thrown on the process.
nOthers attempted to hit him on his head with their weapons but his body was unscathed and unaffected.
nOnly making his clothes torn on the process.
nThey were struck with disbelief as their weapons were sharp and can cut any flesh but he was just smiling at them like a madman.
n
"Huh? Why can't we kill him? Is he immortal? All men kill him! Somebody kill him!
" Shouted their infuriated leader.
nJoan let out a sigh as his Paladin's buff was so overpowered. It only made Arthras to be flung here and there but was unscathed as he watched them.
nJoan laughed at them without reserve. Further looking at them and dashed towards them. Some of them jolted as they were struck with dread.
nThey were in disarray and so Joan didn't waste the tides turning in his favor.
nHe slashed the one who wanted to escape and the Wind element triggered on the process. Producing wind that can cut metal. If their armor was hard enough, then they will be safe.
nSadly, they only have leather armor with them that came from the hide of animals. The enemy that was struck was split into half and he was screaming until blood spurted out of his body.
nOthers now regretted what they have done but it was too late for them to beg for mercy. Their lives were not even enough to pay for the wheat field's damage. Which was beyond salvage.
nJoan can only smirk while having a face of a mad man. Striking another one with his wooden weapon. Further making them feel dread as he was laughing wildly as he struck them.
nAs the weapon hits the enemy on his axe, and Electric element was triggered. Bolts of Electric was produced from his weapon. Scattering all over the place and struck others.
nMaking them pass out when struck and others were paralyzed by the bolt. The one who was struck by his sword was toasted on the process.
n
"Throw your axes!
" Their leader shouted and so their spirits were boosted up.
nDispelling the fear they felt for that moment and so they heeded his command.
nThey threw their axes and Joan was struck on his back. Three axes landed on his back and three were on his chest.
nThey felt so accomplished when they succeeded in dealing with damage to him.
n
"Hahaha! Where is your confidence now? Huh?
" The leader shouted in mock.
nJoan smirked and laughed again. It was louder this time around for them to hear.
nHe shakes his body and the axes fell of his body. Making his clothes tattered on the process.
n
"Hahaha! Shall I let you feel how disgusted I am right now? You are so disgusting! Insects!
" Joan stared at them and dashed towards them.
nHe went to the remaining others and slashed them with his sword. That sword was just an ordinary wooden sword that can't even cut flesh but it was buffed by Joan's Paladin skill.
nThe one he struck first was slowed and frozen. Signifying that the Ice Element was triggered.
nOthers were slashed with his sword and were poisoned. The Poison element was triggered this time around and they soon dropped to the ground as their mouth foamed on the process.
nJoan saw the leader and he dashed towards him. Slashing him but he blocked it with his two-handed axe.
nTo his surprise, the Earth element was triggered and soon, the weight of the sword became a ton and the sword broke his block like a sword cutting butter.
nBreaking his bones on his hands and his ribcage on his chest. Making him thrown in the process.
nHe coughed blood and begged mercy but Joan stomped his head on the process then left him. Breaking his skull helm's deer horn.
nHe saw that the enemies were fleeing from him so he used his Rogue Job Class.
nSheathing his sword to his scabbard then cast Conjure daggers.
nThey were running uphill so he chased after them.
nRunning towards them then jumped up high. Raining them with daggers left and right and others were hit on their backs. Some on the chests. They dropped to the ground but it didn't stop there.
nThis skill can even make the Rogues ranged class as they can summon unlimited daggers that they can throw.
nIt was one of the ranged classes that he discovered in the past and so he practised range attacks in his past life.
nThe others wanted to fight for their lives for the last time and so Joan rewarded them with more daggers in their bodies. A fitting reward for the ones who destroyed their wheat field which was their future and saving grace.
nHe was at the top of the hill with bodies on his foothold and the wind was blowing his tattered clothes. Taking a blow in-between the ripped parts of his dress.
nHe saw the fire rise towards the clouds from the top of the hill and black smoke was emitted from the fields. Embers were produced after the fields were burned and Joan can only sit on the grassy hills as he can't do anything to put off the fire that they started.
nSighing in dismay, he stared at the clouds up above and rain clouds were formed. Soon after, rain poured into him. Making him smile but felt dismayed on his self.
nThe rain poured heavier and heavier as time goes by. Making the villagers cheer on him and be joyous while dancing in the rain.
n
