Chapter 1075: 17.2 Fourth Violet Star - Pink Astilbe

Dean Frey von Gregory exited the area after checking on Megan Shelley. This time, he’ll look into Jace Green, the Imperlian Royal Family’s alleged illegitimate son. He wasn’t sure if he was lucky or not, but it appeared that Jace Green and Yara von Chrysalis were working together in the garden. Their task is to choose a flower that they would like to grow and replant it in their pot. These two were not huddled in the garden, admiring the various flowers.

The flowers in the garden area are so abundant because the school planted flowers from all seasons here. There are common flowers, such as red roses, and uncommon flowers, such as chocolate cosmos. Jade Green chose a common red rose. This is the most common flower to grow and is visually appealing. Yara von Chrysalis, on the other hand, goes with pink astilbe. It was a light pink color, similar to cherry blossom flowers.

Jade Green asked, “Yara, what are you going to plant? I chose red Juliet roses. It’s a common flower and should be easy to grow!”

“Get a common red rose plant. Red Juliet Roses are big roses but it’s hard to grow. It needs to be sensitive to temperature and other things need to be considered. It cannot grow without special care. You have other things to do after classes.” Yara von Chrysalis said.

Jade Green pouted as if his classmates were right. “I still have part-time jobs. Okay, I will choose the common rose plant.”

Dean Frey von Gregory entered the room and overheard their conversation. Jade Green is, as expected, childish and immature, but he did not expect Yara von Chrysalis to be so friendly, which contradicted Lord Hei’s cold demeanor. If he only saw Yara von Chrysalis’ expressionless and cold face, he would realize the child is only acting.

The Baron Family was concerned that their child, who does not like to talk, would be bullied if he attended the First Military Imperial School. So he made it a condition that he talk to at least one friend before they would let him go to school. Yara von Chrysalis concurs and selects the first person to speak to him on the first day of class. Because Jade Green was the first to approach him, he chose him as his friend.

Their conversation continues…

Jade Green asked, “Yara, what kind of flower did you choose?”

“Pink Astilbe. For some reason, I feel that I need to pick this flower,” responded Yara von Chrysalis as he looked at the light pink flowers he moved carefully in his flower pot.

Dean Frey von Gregory was taken aback when he saw Yara von Chrysalis holding a pot of pink Astilbe. Pink Astilbe’s meaning is “Waiting for someone.” Only then did he realize that Yara von Chrysalis, of the three men he had listed, was most likely the vessel of Lord Hei’s Soul Fragment. An Ancient Language echoed in the area where he was about to approach the student.

{Forget}

For a moment, Jace Green and Dean Frey von Gregory were stunned as Yara von Chrysalis walked away with his pot of flowers. He stared emotionlessly in one direction before leaving.

When he vanished completely from the garden, Jace Green and Dean Frey von Gregory awoke from what appeared to be an illusion. They had forgotten that Yara von Chrysalis had been with them just moments before.

Jace Green and Dean Frey von Gregory, both dazed, looked at each other with throbbing heads. They are perplexed, but they don’t know what they are perplexed about.

Student Jace Green confusedly looked at the empty pot in his hand to the Dean not far from here.

“Eh? Dean, why are you here? Why am I here? Oh, right I’m doing homework with Yara. Eh? Where is he? Did he already leave?” Jace Green mumbled.

Dean Frey von Gregory, on the other hand, believes that things aren’t as simple as they appear. He knew something had happened, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t recall anything. He had to retrace his steps before he got into such a strange state. bn𝚘v𝚕.𝚘𝚛𝚐

But first, he answered the student’s question and said, “Nothing. I was just passing by.” Dean Frey von Gregory said as he turned around to return to his office trying to retrace his memories of what just happened.

While on his way to his office, Frey von Gregory’s thoughts were in progress, “I remembered checking on Student Megan Shelley. He is a transmigrator who replaced the original soul of Megan Shelley who was killed by the protagonist shou. Then I came to the garden to check on Student Jace Green… Arg! What’s happening? Why can’t I remember anything beyond what happened after heading to the garden? Moreover, why does it feel that Jace Green was in the same state as me instead of the one who caused it? Is there a third person?”

Meanwhile, Jace Green, who was pretending to be a fool, summoned his people from the shadows. Though he had indeed forgotten a part of his memories, his people from a distance shouldn’t.

Jace Green spoke, “Shadow Guards. Come over.”

“Yes, your highness!” A few men in pure black robes appeared before him on their knees.

“Did something happen? There is a part of my memory that seems a bit weird. Do you see who did it?” Jace Green asked.

“Well… It is His Highness’ friend. That boy is named Yara von Chrysalis.”

Jace Green exclaimed in disbelief, “Impossible! I feel not even a strand of qi coming from him!”

“But we are not lying, Your Highness. Moreover, he didn’t do anything but just say one weird word we couldn’t understand. Suddenly His Highness and the Dean froze for a few seconds for no reason, you only woke up when he left. Moreover, he knew about us. He stared at us before taking his leave.”

Seeing the subordinates of his imperial uncle, the Grand Duke had left to protect him, looking terrified. Jace Green couldn’t help but recall what Yara von Chrysalis said to him in their first meeting.

Nice to meet you. My parents said to make a friend so I won’t be bullied. Can you become my friend?

Jace Green mumbled, “Is he angry because I brought you with me when we are playing with flowers? Next time I’m going to meet Yara, you guys aren’t allowed to be present. This is an order!”

“No~ your highness! That’s too dangerous!”

“Enough. I’ve decided. You… Go get me a rose to plant. I still need it for my assignment.” Jace Green said. “Also I want you to investigate Yara’s whole background for me.”

“Yes, Your Highness!”

Back in the dormitory…

Yara von Chrysalis had returned to his own room, carrying back his pot of Pink Astilbe. The First Military Imperial School didn’t skimp on accommodations, especially for those from noble families. The Chrysalis Clan was a small baron family, but they were wealthy enough to rent a single room with a veranda. He was growing several other flowers and plants for potion-making on his veranda. He arranged his Pink Astilbe among the other plants and said quietly,

“Take care of your new siblings. Don’t worry. I will help you all grow well.”

As he muttered those words, he sprinkled some kind of dust all over the plants and flowers, causing them to grow and be healthier. Nobody knew what that dust thing was that Yara von Chrysalis was using. He returned to his room to take a bath. He then sat on his bed, concentrating, and entered his Quantum World. He can enter his quantum world for some reason, but it is empty, which is strange.

“This place is still as empty as before.”

He didn’t know whether he awakened as a Mediator or an Adjudicator. All he knows is that he is capable of using everything even though he is supposed to be just a human being. But he didn’t seems to have any quantum beast despite having a quantum world.

After exiting his quantum world, Yara von Chrysalis continues to dry his hair as he mumbles, “I wonder who I was waiting for? Baba (Father) told me to listen to my quantum beast once it appeared as it is like my heart.”

In the Royal Palace…

Christopher Klein von Imperlian arrived at his elder brother’s house for a meeting. The Crown Prince’s palace is the third largest Mansion in the Imperium. The Main Royal Palace is, of course, the largest, while the Grand Duke’s Palace is the second largest. This is due to the fact that their Imperial Uncle, despite not being the King, is an Imperlian. He was born with royal blood. He would have been king if it weren’t for his mental riots. But, as a result of the aftereffects of fighting the Butterfly Zerg Tribe, he is in such a bad state that he can go insane at any time and die.

The butler of the Palace had greeted the arrival of Protagonist Gong, “Welcome your Highness the Second Prince. The Crown Prince had been waiting for your arrival.”

“Please show me the way, elder.” Christopher Klein von Imperlian said.

The butler said, “Your Highness doesn’t need to be polite. This way please~”

Christopher Klein von Imperlian followed the butler to the living room where his elder brother was waiting. He was doing the same work with his subordinates before he arrived. The name of the Crown Prince is Cain Nova von Imperlian.

The Crown Prince noticed his arrival, “You are here. The rest of you can leave. Butler some refreshments.”

“Yes, Your Highness!” Both his subordinates and the butler saluted to his command as if his words were the most absolute.

Cain Nova von Imperlian asked, “My Dear Second Brother, why have you come?” his smile seems a bit sarcastic.

“Can I take a seat first?” Christopher Klein von Imperlian asked.

The Crown Prince gestured, “Go ahead.”

“My older brother, I will stand down in the battle for the throne but I will support no one.” Christopher Klein von Imperlian said straight to the point which startled the crown prince before himself.

Cain Nova von Imperlian said with a wry smile, “You got to be kidding me. In all my brothers you and I are most favored for the throne. For you to suddenly stand down… What is wrong with you.”

“I don’t want it anymore… The throne. There is someone more important than the crown to me. I’ve already told the Imperial Father he would most likely agree thanks to the news I gave him.” Christopher Klein von Imperlian.

Cain Nova von Imperlian asked, “What kind of news?”

Chuckling, “Dear Elder brother will have to ask the Imperial Father himself. That is a secret of the Imperial Father after all.” Christopher Klein von Imperlian said.

The Crown Prince turned silent for a moment as he was disgusted by this news. He was definitely interested in the news that made Father allow this bastard to step down from the Enthronement Trials.

Cain Nova von Imperlian’s thoughts, ‘But would this brat even tell him what that news is all about, wait a minute, he still hasn’t told me what he came here for…’

“So… What did you really come here for? Second brother.” The Crown Prince asked.

Christopher Klein von Imperlian said, “For a favor. Of course, I am willing to pay a price for it.”

“Tell me the news which is the secret of our father and I will help you with what you want.” Cain Nova von Imperlian stated.

Christopher Klein von Imperlian raised an eyebrow and said, “I haven’t said what I wanted for a favor yet and you already agreed. This is not like you, Elder brother.”

His eyes narrowed meaningly as if observing a prey that was struggling with all its might, standing so proudly before his eyes not even fearing death that was looking over him. He had no intention of killing his brother though.
