Chapter 441: 9.58 Second Blue Star - The Forgotten Past Life
Within the water dungeon, the sounds of loud cries echo within. The young man called Lou Ming cries as he hugs the neck of his master, Ye Wuye. Unfortunately, the latter was unable to hug him back as both of his hands were chained above his head and his whole body was hanged to have half of his body hidden within the icy pool.
Seeing the child who pasted his small body into his while his face was full of tears, Wuye couldn’t help but feel sad yet delighted at the same time. He didn’t know why. Is it because the child honestly told him his feelings and thoughts or it was because Lou Ming looks like Yun Ming which made his heart soften before the child?
Lou Wuye spoke, “Ming’er, this master is a bit hungry. Could you give me some food which you brought with you?”
Sniffing as he calms his tears, Lou Ming reluctantly lets go of his master as he nods his head in agreement with his master’s words. He went to the rock where he placed the bread and soup and fed Lou Wuye with his own hand; his master is, after all, bound by chains and couldn’t eat on his own. When Lou Wuye saw the child was planning to feed everything to him, he stopped opening his mouth to accept the food.
“Eat the rest. I am in no need of too much food with my cultivation higher than yours. Ming’er eats the rest for me. You must eat it while I’m looking or I’m afraid you would skip eating while I am not looking,” said Lou Wuye. He was staring at the young man who was averting his hands and his master had seen through him. He could only eat the rest of the soup and the bread in front of his master’s presence.
He was afraid that his master might get angry if he didn’t listen to his words at all. After finishing their dinner Ming’er wanted to enter the water to accompany his master only for him to be stopped by the waves within the pool. He knew that with only him and his master in this cave, only Lou Wuye was able to prevent him from approaching the icy pool.
He looks so pitiful when he looks at the Great Elder and says, “Master, don’t you want Ming’er anymore? Boohoo…” asked Lou Ming show as staring at his master with tear-filled eyes.
“This master didn’t say that he didn’t want MIn’er anymore but… Master cannot allow you to sleep in this cold place with the master. You will get sick if you stay in this place. For tonight go back and get those things in the hidden compartment for this master. There is also a space ring in there. Take everything in our warehouse and don’t get others to notice you, especially the Young Lord.” said Lou Wuye.
Bewildered Lou Ming asked, “Young Master? Is the Master talking about Ye Mo? He is indeed a bad person. After the master was imprisoned in this place, I saw multiple guards carrying his servants’ dead bodies. Their deaths were gruesome and inhuman. I don’t even understand what is wrong with the Young Master, I hate him laughing like a lunatic while holding a black book which he carries around lately. Had he gone crazy?”
“No. That child had been crazy in the beginning. He is too greedy and wants everything to be his. It wouldn’t be surprising that he would even scheme against his would-be father after their plan to kill the God of Void was completed.” said Lou Wuye.
Then he remembered that this little brat of his is quite something. He could act according to his wants but used anyone that may provide him with what he wanted. Didn’t this young man just use the Young Lord to capture this lord? He is indeed a bit too smart for a boy who hasn’t completed his incoming age ceremony. According to the memories from the original Ye Wuye when he saved Lou Ming this child’s identity isn’t normal. His parents were both Highgods with an unknown background. No one knew why they were assassinated by a Godking cultivator but rumors say that the couple had exchanged both of their lives to bring that Godking to death with them leaving a lone Lou Ming as an orphan.
Since Lou Ming is an orphan without a background he went to the human seller and sold himself to be a servant. Because he had surrendered himself without qualms the Human Seller had treated him with a bit more kindness than those who were caught. He is quite an expensive commodity after all. So when the Great Elder of the Ye Gui race saw him in the store with eyes that had nothing to care about in the world, Ye Wuye might have felt it was fate to meet someone like him. Whose life is worse than death but couldn’t die at all.
It might be this that attracted the two to one another. Since they were both lonely people, being with each other and living together changed everything in their lives which is why Ye Wuye had treated Lou Ming as more important than his life and why Lou Ming would do anything to keep Ye Wuye by his side. It is only when they were together that they felt complete.
A
/n: The original name of the Great Elder is Ye Wuye. This is Lou Wuye’s original name in his first life. But since he is the one experiencing the dream I used his name as Lou Wuye which is his present name.
Lou Wuye noticed that the young man was trying to entertain him and making him forget the time so he wouldn’t send him away. Lou Ming is quite sly like this but Lou Wuye likes him this way and didn’t mind but that doesn’t mean he would allow a child this young to sleep in such a wet cave with an icy pool that causes the whole place’s temperature to drop beyond normal. With his God stage cultivation, it might be enough to stay for a few hours but staying a whole night is still impossible. As the water dungeon is used to hold prisoners whose cultivation is at Godking and above.
“Ming’er, go home. You can come back tomorrow. This master wouldn’t allow you to stay the night no matter what you say. Be good and go now.” said Lou Wuye.
Seeing that his plans to let his master forget the time so he could stay in the dungeon longer failed, Lou Ming couldn’t help but pout.
“Master~~”
“Even if you act cute you aren’t allowed to stay here. Go home okay?”
“Sigh~ then I will bring his master’s breakfast tomorrow as well. Please have a good sleep, Master.”
“I will, Ming’er. Good Night…”
“Good Night, Master.”
Seeing his master’s smile Lou Ming had to give up and leave the water dungeon as his master ordered him to. But seeing that last smile before he walks away left Lou MIng in a great mood. He likes his master more now, his master before is rigid that no emotion can be seen on his face. He seems to be a living statue that even if a group of goddesses stripped their clothes in his presence he wouldn’t even twitch his eyebrows and remain motionless. This expressive master, Lou Ming, likes him more.
But his good moods immediately disappeared when he heard people coming over the cave in the middle of the night. He immediately hides himself as well as his presence together with nature. In the whole Ye Gui Clan, he possesses the strongest stealth ability. No one can easily see through him unless it was an extremely powerful cultivator like a Celestial one or an Immortal himself. He hides somewhere and watches in some corner as he re-entered the cave following behind those people who came to the dungeon where his master is.
Two invited guests are wearing a black cloak all over them. One of the men is slightly petite and is obviously a teenager who just completed his age ceremony and the other seems like a bodyguard that came with that teenager especially with those thick muscles all over his body. This person might be a cultivator that specialized in strengthening his body seeing how his skin looks like bronze skin.
The teenager stood before the Great Elder holding a black book in front of him. This young man is Ye Mo with the artifact called Book of Life and Death in his hands. Standing on the top of the water, Ye Mo looked at the former Great Elder of his race with a mocking expression on his face. Lou Wuye’s face was expressionless and cold. He stares at the young man like looking at a dead man without any fear in his eyes despite his current restrained self.
Ye Mo taunts, “Yo~ Look at our Great Elder. An esteemed being that even my father had to listen to. The person that the creator himself had tasked to take control and observe the Ye Gui like surveillance to report anything that is happening in the clan. Ah~ right… You are no longer the Great Elder but a mere traitor that is punished banishment to the Water Dungeon forever. Hahaha~ you even got betrayed by your little servant…”
The Young Master of the Ye Gui Race. His structure and authority are supposed to be only second to the leader of the whole race. But unfortunately, there is this person who keeps blocking his way. Greediness is his nature. He wanted to become the leader of their race. He wanted to become the king in Inferno but unfortunately, few people are blocking his goals. One is the current leader of the race, which is his father and the other is this person in front of him, who possesses a strength stronger than the current leader himself. A hidden Immortal God that no one expected to know.
If not because he got the Book of Life and Death that Ye Mo wouldn’t even know at all. This is an extremely dangerous variable that would prevent him from becoming the next leader of their race. This is why he incited that little servant to betray his dear master. Only when the sole weakness of that person is under his control that this being would not be able to kill him at all.
Ye Mo couldn’t even kill the Great Elder himself as this Celestial God has collected enough merits that protect his soul from the artifact. Though it wasn’t a hundred percent unaffected like the Mo Family, his name is written on a light golden page like that little bastard, Hei Anjing.
Lou Wuye ignored him as if he didn’t exist and closed his eyes as he didn’t want to see this bastard and let him act like a fool like this.
His thoughts are: ‘This annoying bastard is that Evil God, Ye Mo from the Ye Gui race? So as a child he had already been this annoying. Acting like he must own anything in this world that he fancy and was greedy of everything that he had taken a liking to.’
Seeing the prisoner who was rude enough to turn deaf ears on him made Ye Mo click his tongue. He knew that this man in front of him never feared death. In the first place, the Great Elder never had any feelings of belongingness to the Ye Gui Race. If not for the God of Void asking him to stay in this place as a Great Elder, Ye Wuye would never associate himself with them.
He keeps flipping on the Book Artifact in his hands as is looking for something. He only stopped his movements when he found the name of the person he wanted to see, “I see that our former great elder is going to ignore me as expected but this Young Master had ways~ to make the Great Elder interested. Care for our former Great Elder to look at this! This young master is very sure that you would be interested in this one. Open your eyes or you might regret it if you don’t~”
Ye Mo turned the book in the direction of the Great Elder. On that white page, the name of Lou Ming is written clearly on it. The life history of Lou Ming from his birth to death and his personal records were documented on the page clearly. Even the latest action he had to take like eating dinner with him was recorded in it.
A gloomy and fierce expression appeared on the Great Elder’s face as he glared at Ye Mo as if he wanted to eat him alive. He knew what this bastard was thinking.
“Are you threatening me~?” asked Lou Wuye. His tone was cold and dangerous and the whole cave was suddenly filled with killing intent that startled the others who felt it.
Seeing this, Lou Wuye was shocked to the core. He knew what kind of artifact this Book of Life and Death is. He had only seen this book once in the Nether System. Though this is supposed to be under the possession of the God of life and death, in Vearth Ruler God Mo never used it at all even after becoming the God of life and death. Rumors say that this book is like a controller but the book itself becomes useless the moment Ruler God Mo becomes the new sovereign.
He once heard from the God of Punishment, Honorable Lord Hei Sian that the Book of Life and Death is an Artifact that the God of Void owns. It was his soul-bounded artifact. After his death, the effects of this artifact became useless as its owner itself had died and no one knew who he was or whether he reincarnated or not. But everyone knew the powerful effects of this artifact. It can control one’s life, make changes in their fate, or ending including their death.
An Artifact that shouldn’t have existed in the world, it was like a pandora’s box that no ordinary being should possess.
