nZhu Yi was startled. He turned around and saw Lu Suo standing behind him. Just as he was about to say something, he was pushed into the pool.
n
nSong Yujin witnessed this scene and was in utter disbelief.
n
nLu Suo stood by the pool indifferently as Zhu Yi struggled in the water and shouted for help.
n
nSong Yujin no longer recognized the person standing in front of him.
n
n‘This is probably his true nature.’
n
nBefore Song Yujin could do anything, Lu Suo made a move. He threw an inner tube into the pool and calmly jumped in, saving Zhu Yi.
n
nLu Suo asked, “Was that fun?”
n
nZhu Yi was petrified and could not speak.
n
nLu Suo laughed and said in a soft tone, “If you ever call me a little monster again, I’ll kill you! Drowning is only one of many options.”
n
nZhu Yi immediately burst into tears and tried to run away.
n
nThis sight made Lu Suo even happier. He got up and turned around. At this moment, the smile on his face froze. Song Yujin was right there!
n
nLu Suo panicked. If Lu Gan found out, he would definitely be disappointed in him. However, before he could do anything, Zhu Yi hugged Song Yujin and cried, “He tried to drown me… He’s crazy!”
n
nLu Suo did not know how much Song Yujin had seen. Thus, he concocted his own plan. He looked at Zhu Yi with a shocked expression and said, “What? I saved you. You’re the one who fell into the water by accident.”
n
nAs long as Song Yujin did not see the whole thing, he could definitely find a way to hide the truth. His usual act was not for nothing.
n
nUnfortunately, Song Yujin did see the whole thing.
n
nSong Yujin looked at Lu Suo with mixed feelings. Supposedly, Lu Suo was just a cute and innocent child. However, that was not the case at all. Lu Suo was superb at deceiving others. In fact, he was more complicated and terrifying than any other child. His true nature was cunning, vicious, and cruel. Song Yujin thought only adults had these traits, but they also existed in Lu Suo.
n
nAnyway, Lu Suo did not expect Song Ci to speak up for him and Song Yujin to see everything.
n
nLu Suo felt very uneasy. There was no fake smile on his face. He simply did not know what to say.
n
nSong Yujin flipped through a page of his book. It seemed like he did not care about Lu Suo’s true nature. He said calmly, “You can leave now.”
n
nLu Suo smiled.
n
n“Do you hate me?”
n
n“No.”
n
n“Then why are you kicking me out?”
n
nLu Suo felt wronged.
n
nSong Yujin was puzzled.
n
n“You just want to know if I’ll tell my sister and your father, right? I already said I won’t.”
n
nLu Suo could not understand Song Yujin at all.
n
nZhu Yi was almost scared to death by him. Yet, Song Yujin could read nonchalantly.
n
n“Don’t you have anything to say to me?”
n
nSong Yujin thought for a moment before saying, “You shouldn’t have pushed him into the pool. Scolding and beating are fine, but killing is off limits!”
n
n“He won’t die. I was just trying to scare him.”
n
nLu Suo said calmly.
n
nSong Yujin put down his book and looked at Lu Suo.
n
n“You can’t control water, so you shouldn’t scare him this way. He could have actually died.”
n
n“I’ll save him before anything happens. I won’t let him die.”
n
nLu Suo kept being stubborn.
n
n“Not everything will go according to your plans.”
n
nSong Yujin replied calmly.
n
n“But he didn’t die!”
n
nLu Suo retorted.
n
nSong Yujin laughed. His eyes were filled with contempt.
n
n“He may not die today, but what about next time? You didn’t expect me to see everything, right? If he died, what would you do? Lu Suo, I’m only telling you this because you asked me if I had anything to say. Yet, you’re not listening to me. If this is the case, you don’t have to ask me next time.”
n
nWhat was the point of talking if the other party was unwilling to listen? Song Yujin knew that it was pointless trying to persuade someone like Lu Suo. He did not want to waste his time either. After all, this matter had nothing to do with him.
n
nSong Yujin did not speak again and continued to read his book.
n
nOn the other hand, Lu Suo was more baffled than ever. They had just argued, but Song Yujin went back to reading as if nothing had happened.
n
