Chapter 449 – Eavesdropping Preparation

nAfter I finished breakfast, Su Qiao tided up the dirty dishes like a hard-working maid.

nI couldn’t help but lament: She misunderstood that I used to be a rich young master, but it’s actually the first time in my life I was attended to by another person.

nI then told Su Qiao she could use the bedroom, living room, and kitchen as she wished, but she had to knock before she went into the study or the large bedroom.

nIt’s not like I would watch the AV on my dad’s computer nor do I have a habit of sleeping in the nude, but there’s way too many H goods in those two rooms! My dad’s oppai mouse pad is already hard to accept for most people, let alone the mountain of vibrators and S&M equipment in the large bedroom!

nEven though Su Qiao already shared information with Ai ShuQiao and already knows what my family does, I would still feel embarrassed if she catches me red handed with a vibrator in my hand.

nI already told Su Qiao that she has to do chores in return for not paying rent, but she might get a job at anytime since she had a contract. I told her to prioritize her work if there were any scheduling conflicts. I still had the ability to take care of myself.

n“Xiao Ye, you’re so kind…” Su Qiao said bashfully, “I did all those things to you before, but you’re still very understanding to me.”

nI waved my hand, “You don’t need to mention the weed incident anymore. If Constable Ma hears, his blood is going to boil. Oh right, I remember your scenes are over for the movie, but you look better than expected, I thought you would be more frustrated.”

nSu Qiao had a faint smile on her face.

n“Well my scenes are over, but not necessarily.”

n“What do you mean?”

nSu Qiao played with her braid that was hanging in front of her chest and said with a longing look in her eyes:

n“Since the first season hasn’t been broadcast yet, the director doesn’t know if my part as the Blood Prince’s maid will be popular. That’s why he cut the scene as the maid was shot by an arrow, so you can’t be 100% sure she died. If the character gets a good response from the audience, then I might be able to continue acting in the second season.”

nSu Qiao tucked in her legs and hugged her knees on the sofa. It was rare for her to show off this lively energy befitting of her age.

nAs for the Blood Prince’s maid that should have died, but now may be revived again, must have been a suggestion from Ai ShuQiao.

nIt must be a reward for Su Qiao because she followed orders and had a supposed sexual relationship with me. That’s why Ai ShuQiao told the director how to handle her character. Ai ShuQiao could simultaneously give hope to Su Qiao while increasing control over her.

nI’m afraid whether or not her character gets revived in the second season won’t depend on the audience, but on how well Su Qiao can accomplish her orders.

nAi ShuQiao has a lot of experience when dealing with people. I could only act when I see an opportunity and see if I could turn the tables with my listening device.

nI stayed at home the entire day on Saturday.

nMost of my time was spent managing the online store. After sitting in front of the computer the entire day, my neck was stiff and wrists were numb. That’s why at night I did some stretches in the living room and did a hundred clap push ups.

nSu Qiao who finished washing the dishes, watched me do push ups from the kitchen door.

n“Xiao Ye, why do you train every day?” Su Qiao asked, “I always stretched with the adults when I was a kid and it hurt to the point I cried. At that time, I thought it would be a blessing when I wouldn’t have to train every day.”

n

n

nThe correct answer would have been ‘to defeat my girlfriend’, but I couldn’t say that because it would make me look like someone who commits domestic abuse.

nThus I said: “In order to improve quality of life, to enjoy life, and to challenge myself.”

nSu Qiao sighed: “Xiao Ye, you’re really mature. When I was your age, I was only looking forward to the day I get my ID so I could escape from my hometown.”

n“Haven’t you already escaped.” I laughed.

n“That’s right. But after I escaped, I realized there were other types of hardships and now sometimes miss my hometown… but I will never go back.”

n“Why? Are you not going back until you get successful?”

n“No, I just don’t want to do acrobatics anymore. In my hometown, there’s no way forward other than acrobatics. I’ve already suffered that pain when I was a kid, so I don’t want my kids to suffer the same pain.”

nSu Qiao used the free time she had between lunch, dinner, and washing the clothes to organize her stuff and decorate her room. She even invited me inside to have a look.

nThe entire room became more feminine even though she only added a Chinese decoration on the bed rest and an embroidered seat cushion on the chair. Luckily, there was still a poster of Arnold Schwarzenegger on the walls.

n“Can you fall asleep looking at this buff man at night?” I joked.

n“No problem.” Su Qiao smiled sweetly, “All the men I knew in the acrobatics group were all muscular men. My mom even trained me to ballet dance on top of the shoulders of those men. My mom also danced on my dad’s shoulders before, so whenever I see a muscular man, I think of my father and feel safer.”

n“Then that’s fine.” I looked at the empty hook that was on the ceiling. I had already moved the punching bag to the large bedroom.

nAt the same time Su Qiao also peeked at the muscles under my black vest. I only found out about her bad habit later on.

nIt was currently summer, so girls had to shower at least once a day. At around 8, Su Qiao knocked on the room of the study and asked if she could take a shower. I checked on the condition of my bladder and told her to go ahead.

nI could hear the water splashing through the walls of the study room. I couldn’t stop myself from imagining the warm water sliding down Su Qiao’s shoulders, hugging the curves of her body and hitting the ground next to her little feet.

nI was definitely influenced by some of my customers who sent some pictures and wanted me to verify if one of the H manga was missing some pages.

nIt was a H manga with unusual tastes about a mother and daughter pair in the shower.

nThe running water stopped and the shower door creaked as Su Qiao opened it.

nDid she come out with a towel wrapped around her? Su Qiao brought her own towel and even asked if she could hang it inside the shower room. The scene of a young woman coming out of the shower is irresistible to men.

nGood thing I installed a listening device inside the bedroom and not a camera. If I installed a camera, I would be taken over by lust and do something I would regret.

nAround 10 at night, Su Qiao said good night and headed off to sleep.

nIn order to test the listening device, I also laid down on the bed in the large bedroom and put on the receiver headphones.

nI could her the sound of Su Qiao making the bed. Then she laid down and flipped through a magazine. I could then hear the sound of rustling clothes (perhaps she was changing into her pajamas), but I didn’t get any useful information.

nI comforted myself by saying Rome wasn’t built in a day, and I would eventually get the information I need.

nAs I plugged my phone onto the charger, I suddenly heard a crackle.

nWhere’s that burning smell coming from, did the charger overheat?

nI quickly unplugged the phone but couldn’t find any problems. It was already late at night, but later I found out my phone could only be charged to 90% batteries.

nThe worst part was I couldn’t tell if it was a problem with the phone or the charger because they were both counterfeit products.

nI suddenly thought: The crazy person, Fang Xin, predicted my phone would malfunction and it actually did!

n

n

nWait, don’t be swayed. There’s a high chance of phones malfunctioning, wasn’t there even a time when someone was electrocuted to death when charging an Apple phone? Anyone could predict a phone would malfunction, but the prediction would be true if the phone actually saves my life.

nSince I woke up too late in the morning, I couldn’t really fall asleep. So for the first time, I turned on the lights again and did my homework.

nI did my homework while listening in to Su Qiao’s room.

nIn a flash, it was already 12. As I was slowly nodding off, I suddenly heard Su Qiao making a call.

n“Hello, Madam Ai?”

n“I’m in Ye Lin’s house right now, he should be asleep.”

n“Should?” I could barely hear Ai ShuQiao’s voice with the listening device, so I turned up the volume.

n“Aren’t you sleeping together with my son? Why aren’t you sure if he’s asleep or not?”
