n“Uh, I’m hungry. Sister-in-law, let’s go and eat something!”
nNuan Nuan seemed to interrupt her deliberately without waiting for her to finish speaking. She then dragged Zuo Weiyi to a table not far away.
nJing Xinlei had abandoned her brother who was on the verge of collapsing five years ago and resolutely chose to pursue her dream. From then on, she hated Jing Xinlei deeply!
nZhong Shenghao and Xiao Ran were also stunned looking at this sudden scene. They just kept quiet.
nJing Xinlei bit her lower lip hard as if she had received a huge hit. She then turned and rushed toward the backyard.
nXiao Ran glanced at Shi Yuting and hoped that he would chase after her looking at Jing Xinlei who was sad and gone. However, Shi Yuting just looked from a distance. He then turned around and walked toward her sister and Zuo Weiyi.
nZhong Shenghao and Xiao Ran had no choice but to go after Jing Xinlei.
nThey saw Jing Xinlei standing by the pool sobbing when they walked to the backyard.
nJing Xinlei turned her head suddenly when she heard footsteps behind her. She thought Shi Yuting would chase after her. However, she felt disappointed and burst into tears when she saw it was Zhong Shenghao and Xiao Ran.
n“I don’t understand. He clearly said that I could pursue my dream. Why? Why did everything change after I went abroad? How could he do this to me?”
nJing Xinlei was so sad that she covered her face and wept bitterly.
nZhong Shenghao gradually frowned after hearing her words.
n“Xin Lei, aren’t you too mean to say that?
nJing Xinlei looked at Zhong Shenghao in surprise after hearing him said that. She was at a loss. “What do you mean?”
n“It was you who had left the nearly collapsed Ting five years ago. Didn’t you?”
nThe three of them were good friends since they were young. He knew that Jing Xinlei had decided to leave Shi Yuting to pursue her dream five years ago. Hence for this matter, he did not say anything mean to her due to their relationship although he thought that she was being too cruel to Shi Yuting.
nHowever, he did not expect her to confound black and white and blamed Ting for abandoning her.
nJing Xinlei was startled. She lifted her eyes. “Collapse? What the hell are you talking about?”
nZhong Shenghao frowned. “Don’t tell me that you did not know Ting’s parents had a car accident on the day you boarded the plane five years ago.”
nJing Xinlei’s expression suddenly changed upon hearing his words. She looked at Zhong Shenghao in disbelief. “You… car accident? I… I didn’t know. Didn’t Uncle Shi die two years after I had left? Didn’t he?”
n“Two years after?” Zhong Shenghao squinted.
nCould it be that Xin Lei might not know anything from five years ago?
n“Who told you that? Ting’s parents were in a car accident on the same day you left the country. Only Auntie Shi was rescued. Did you not receive Ting’s call?”
nJing Xinlei was shocked. She kept shaking her head. “No. It’s impossible. How could this be? Why did no one tell me about this?”
nZhong Shenghao was also surprised.
nNo one told her?
nTing did call her that day, didn’t he?
nJing Xinlei raised her teary eyes. She suddenly seemed to remember something and quickly rushed toward the hall!
nInside the hall, Zuo Weiyi was looking down and had no appetite. All she could think of was the scene of Jing Xinlei hugging Shi Yuting.
n“Stupid woman!”
nZuo Weiyi raised her head and glimpsed at the perfect face when she heard the voice.
