Shifting his body in a combat posture, Martial Yin Yang spat, “Kid, your Taiji Palm Arts cannot help you this time. Come and experience my Eight Trigram Palms!”

Wang Yu could hear every single word that Martial Yin Yang said clearly.

Seeing that Martial Yin Yang had just tarnished the reputation of the Taiji Palm Arts and was still going on about the Eight Trigram Palms, Wang Yu was livid.

Wang Yu was the sole inheritor of the Eight Trigram Palms arts as there were no other suitable candidates. Yet, Martial Yin Yang was currently sullying its name in front of Wang Yu.

“Eight your uncle!!!”

After countless years of self-cultivation, Wang Yu had developed an aura of slaughter. At this moment, he fully unleashed this aura. He roared and leapt forward with both palms lifted to face Martial Yin Yang.

Facing Wang Yu’s sudden aggression, Martial Yin Yang did not falter. His body calmly swayed and he executed Gust Step. In an instant, he appeared in the distance. Using both palms, he gave three taps to the air in front of him. Three fiery projectiles shot swiftly towards Wang Yu.

Utilising the Fiery Cloud Palm Arts, one could send three fiery projectiles in quick succession at a target.

Pugilist was a rare class in <>. Even if one chose Pugilist, they would often pursue the route of developing their close combat skills.

Among the Qigong masters, Martial Yin Yang could be considered the top-ranked master.

When an ordinary Qigong master executed the Fiery Cloud Palm Arts, the projectile would likely travel in a very predictable fashion linearly. However, this was not the case with Martial Yin Yang. When he had previously executed the skill, the projectiles he created could independently travel in a direction that locked down multiple escape routes of its target.

Although Martial Yin Yang had some degree of skill in martial arts, in front of the true grandmasters of Quan Zhen Sect, he could not be counted for much.

The Eight Trigram Palm Arts was also known as Roaming Body Palm Arts. The body was cultivated first before one could start practicing the actual palm arts. Wang Yu had already reached grand completion of his palm arts. He did not need to take Martial Yin Yang’s incoming attack seriously at all.

In a blink of an eye, Wang Yu lowered his body and swerved his body in midair and deftly avoided the incoming projectiles. Before Martial Yin Yang could defend himself, Wang Yu already sent a vicious palm to his neck.

Martial Yin Yang was only a Qigong master after all. How could he possibly withstand Wang Yu’s critical strike to his neck? Without a sound or a scream, he dissipated into white light.

After the swift battle, Wang Yu received a message from Fearless, “How is it? Martial Yin Yang is dead, isn’t he?”

“Dead!” Wang Yu answered honestly.

“Run quickly. Their men are coming back for you. Come to the resurrection point and save us so we can escape together,” Fearless directed.

Although Martial Yin Yang had perished, there was still a substantial force from the Divine Martial Guild still out for blood. The Quan Zhen Sect members were all experts in their own rights and they could provide vital assistance to Wang Yu in a fight.

Unexpectedly, Wang Yu had other plans in mind, “This time you guys just take a break at the resurrection point. This is my personal grievance with Martial Yin Yang.”

“Personal grievance? Isn’t it the first time you guys met?” Fearless was stunned at this revelation.

These two clearly did not know each other before today. Could Wang Yu have suffered a loss under the hands of Martial Yin Yang just now?

“It does not matter when we met. This concerns the dignity of a Warrior!” Wang Yu spoke these words in a majestic fashion. He closed the chat room and leaped into the air.

Fearless was not a martial arts practitioner after all. He could not understand the veiled meaning in Wang Yu’s words.

China and its Martial Arts have a legacy dating back to almost 5000 years ago. In this long history, the rise and fall of martial arts coincided with the contrasting periods of war and peace. As martial arts gradually faded out of public sight, strong martial arts practitioners were often characters shrouded in myths and mysteries.

There were some people who seized this confusion to try and make a name for themselves. They tried to manipulate public opinion by exaggerating the nature of their exploits. Eventually, people gradually came to believe that these players were actually grandmasters of martial arts.

Being a grandmaster in martial arts was not something that one could claim credit for easily. The training to become one would take years if not decades. Even Wang Yu with his unprecedented aptitude for martial arts required daily training for his strength, speed and response. Those who were not true masters of martial arts could be easily exposed.

Because of a few delinquent individuals, the martial arts reputation was forever tarnished. People starting treating martial arts of more like a scam than simply a myth.

Since then, martial arts was constantly stuck in a rut with fewer and fewer people knowing about it. What a tragic outcome this was.

The chief culprit of the downfall of martial arts were those swindlers and liars. Martial Yin Yang had falsely assumed the identity of a martial artist to fool so many people. How could Wang Yu stay silent when Martial Yin Yang had blatantly desecrated the sanctity of martial arts right in front of him?

Wang Yu had only one thought in mind. That was to gamble on his dignity as a martial artist and make Martial Yin Yang pay the price for his deceit!

Qigong master was not a great class at solo combat, therefore, Martial Yin Yang did not feel that Wang Yu was much of a threat if he faced many players at once. He only let out a sigh in acknowledgement of Wang Yu’s skills. Gesturing his men, he directed them to the alleyway to find Wang Yu. Martial Yin Yang also made his way out of the resurrection point.

Before Martial Yin Yang made his way onto main street, his hind legs were blocked by a burly figure.

As he looked up, his heart clenched in horror as he realised the man was Wang Yu. He subconsciously retreated quickly backwards and released Rippling Cloud Palm towards Wang Yu.

Rippling Cloud Palm was only a low-level Pugilist skill. In terms of its striking power, it was simply insignificant in front of a master like Wang Yu.

Wang Yu waved his hand and instantly broke Rippling Cloud Palm. He lunged forward with his fist ready to strike Martial Yin Yang. Martial Yin Yang saw the oncoming Wang Yu but he stood his ground. He gathered his momentum and was waiting for the opportune time to deal a blow to Wang Yu’s head.

In <>, a kick would deal more damage to an opponent compared to a punch. Therefore correspondingly, the skills needed to land a kick would be higher.

Just as Martial Yin Yang thought he had managed to land a successful blow on Wang Yu, Wang Yu suddenly shot to the ground. He abruptly changed his Crushing Fist into a Savage Maul. He stretched forward and grasped Martial Yin Yang by the ankles.

Following that, Wang Yu exerted force to pull Martial Yin Yang backwards. As he turned his body, his other hand shot forward and grabbed the space in between Martial Yin Yang’s legs…
