Chapter 4054: Hunting The Cultists

nThud!

nShe began to fall down, while I moved forward toward my next target.

nI didn't kill her.

nNo, that would be too easy.

nI had just sealed her power and gave her something that would give her the greatest pain she had ever felt and the thing she would even be able to scream out.

nI didn't have even the slightest mercy for these demons. They deserve far worse than this and they will get it.

nShe hadn't fully fallen down on the ground before she had disappeared from my eyes. I had stopped focusing on her, the moment, I took out that sword off her chest.

nEven if she had been as strong as me.

nShe wouldn't have been able to do anything after my sword entered inside her.

nWhat I had kept inside her couldn't be removed easily. Even if she had the power to do it; it would need her hours.

nUnfortunately, despite her using the essence of people. She isn't strong enough to do that.

nSoon, I had reached closer to the White Snake Beastman. He had sensed me, and a fear appeared in his eyes.

nHe pushed himself faster, but despite that, the distance between us got close and closer, till I could see him with my eyes.

nHe turned quickly, with the defensive methods appearing all over him. There are many of them with each strengthening the other, creating quite a powerful defense.

nI appeared in front of him, and my sword tore through his defensive method like a paper.

nSeeing that, the mask of confidence on his face cracked apart and horror revealed itself. Puch!

nMy sword tore through the last defensive shield, before piercing through his chest.

nI removed the sword from his chest while he watched in shock as he began to fall down, with no control over his body.

nThe shocks remained only for a moment in his eyes. A second later, they widened in horror as he began to feel the soul cracking pian.

nI did the same on the third and moved toward the fourth. Who was closer and saw everything, what I did with the third.

nBANNNG!

nI moved closer and about a hundred meters away from him, when the loud explosion rang out.

nIt was powerful. So much, that it shook me, but it didn't achieve, what he had planned it would. Even his self-destruction was weak.

n

"Bastard!

" I cursed.

nHe had the courage to commit the sin but didn't have the courage, to face the punishment. He didn't want to face, what others were planning to do and took the easy way out by self- destructing. He was also quite a vengeful bastard; he had let me come closer before doing it.

nHis self-destruction was powerful. It had destroyed, miles of the frozen forest.

nIt will grow back; unlike the lives of people, they had killed to fuel their progress.

nHun!

nSoon, I reached the fifth one and killed him too and moved toward the sixth, when I had sensed something.

nRoar Cry Raor!

nRoars rang out around me, and the monsters came.

nI looked above toward the cultist Prime. It seemed to have sensed the death of its minions and sent the monsters to kill me and also the ones, I had dealt with.

nWell, they would find that hard to do it.

nI knew something like this might happen. The cultist always tries to erase the proofs and won't mind killing their members to do it.

nThe first monster had reached the second person. I had dealt with.

nIt had launched a deathly blow, but as it reached a meter away from it. A protection sphere appeared, protecting them from the attack.

nThe protection formation will protect them, but not long. I will have to deal with the cultists and then with monsters.

nCry!

nThe first monster reached me. It is the same snow vulture I had seen a few hours ago. As it came toward me; its beak had sharpened, and massive power had gathered there.

nIt is using all its power for a single attack.

nIt took barely a second to cross a large distance and reached me when I turned and swung my sword above.

nRip!

nA crisp, ripping sound rang out, and a moment later, the monster was cut in two, while I moved forward toward my target.

nRoar!

nBarely half a minute passed when I saw another monster coming toward me.

nIt is a white lion. Huge and more powerful than the snow vulture. I had seen it earlier; it was acting like sleeping while sensing the surroundings large.

nSoon there was barely a hundred meters of distance between us when it had attacked me.

nIt was a blast of the dense snow fire.

nI couldn't help but be surprised at seeing it. It is not the snow fire that surprises me, but the way it had concentrated into a thick beam, that made me far more dangerous.

nIt is so fast, that one cannot avoid it, and once it reaches target. It will be the end of them.

nIt reacted to me, and I moved my sword forward without stopping or even lessening my

nspeed.

nRip!

nMy sword touched the beat and instead of getting blasted. It begins to rip through it.

nWithin a moment, I reached the lion and ripped through it. Dividing the monster into two, without losing my speed.

nAs long as the cultist prime didn't attack me, and another didn't pop up. There will be nothing, that will stop me from getting to the cultist.

nHun!

nSoon, the sixth cultist sensed me and, to my surprise, burned his blood.

nHis decisiveness surprised me and if it had been some looting or another minor aggression, I

nwould have forgiven him for that, but he committed the sin.

nThe worst kind. There is no forgiveness for it.

nBurning his blood had increased his strength and speed, but it didn't help him.

nThe only thing it achieved. That it delayed the inevitable by a few seconds.

nPuch!

n

"Do you kn

" He tried to speak, but before he could even get out a sentence, my sword pierced

nthrough him.

nHun!

nI removed it the next moment and was about to move toward the seventh target, which is

nYantis, when suddenly my expression changed.

n

"I was right,

" I said with a smile on my face.
