Chapter 4060: Return

nBOOOM!
nI was about to thank Prime Volsnorth for earlier save from the Prime monster when a massive
nblast rang out.
nI didn't have to turn to know what had exploded. Still, I did and sighed.
nI wanted a few things from there, but the cultists didn't want us to have anything. So, they blasted the facility, with the blast at a near level of Prime.
n
"Nothing in the facility could survive this blast,
" I sighed with regret.
n
"Cultists always want to wipe the traces away, but if you want anything particular. You can
ntell me, we have a large collection of the cultists' things in there,
" he replied, and my eyes lit up.
n
"I could get them?
" I asked.
n
"Usually no, but I could give them to you with my guarantee,
" he replied, and a big smile appeared on my face.
n
"Thank you, Prime Volsnorth,
" I replied to the man.
nI have read about the things cultists used and there are a few things I want. I
nt would help me a lot with my research.
n
"Let's go. We have stayed here, long enough,
" he said, and we began to move, and our speed was tremendously fast.
nI still remember the time, he brought me to the organization. Then it was a blur to me and even after years and massive increase in strength, it is still a blur to me.
nShifting the space to move, not all primes could do this. One needs sufficient power to do something like this.
n
"That Prime was powerful? Too powerful to be overseer of the facility for the Sky Sovereigns,
" I asked, and a surprise flashed in the eyes of the old man.
n
"You are right. He was not overseer; he was inspector. In charge of inspecting the facilities,
"
n
"You have stumbled upon him at the right time, and we were able to deal with him. It was a massive contribution,
" he said, looking at me with a proud smile.
n
"I would be grateful. If you keep my involvement to a minimum; I don't want to draw too much attention to me,
" I requested.
nThe old man said nothing for a moment before nodding.
nTo be honest, I want to bask in the achievement. Squeeze everything, I could from the organization for it, but I have to be rational.
nIt will attract attention. I don't want that.
nIf someone so much suspected I have a forbidden power, I would be in a world of trouble. It would make my life hell, and I wouldn't have even a moment of peace.
n
"A limit hun! I predicted your strength would be high, but never predicted, you would be at the limit,
" he said after a few minutes.
n
"The realm had given quite a few chances,
" I replied.
nI didn't show my breakthrough. It will add complication and make suspect things.
n
"With such strength, when you become Prime. You will get tremendous benefits,
" he said with a lost look appearing in his eyes.
n
"The advantage of absolute limit will be nothing in front of laws you will comprehend, thanks to the rules you have,
" he added, patting my shoulder.
n
"I don't want to try to make a breakthrough. I want to break the absolute limit first,
" I replied to him.
nSurprising so much that he nearly stopped. It took him a few seconds to recover from it and he turned to me with his expressions serious.
n
"It's quite an ambition, but it takes time and barely 1% of those at the absolute limit succeed in breaking through it,
"
n
"Though, if you are willing to listen to my advice. I will say, focus on your breakthrough into the Prime. The laws far surpassed the benefits that breakthrough after breaking the limit could give you,
" he advised.
nI know it and if I had been a normal breaker. I would have listened to his advice.
nI am not. I have a thing, called forbidden power, which I have to merge with me as much as I can. This means going past the limit before I can make a breakthrough.
nThere is also a thing about comprehending the laws. I am at Earth Sovereign Stage and will break through into the Sky Sovereign.
nOnly primes comprehend the laws.
n
"It will be given it some time. If I don't succeed, I will focus on making a breakthrough into the Prime,
" I reply.
nI thought he would object, but he didn't. He simply nodded as we traveled toward the organization.
n
"I nearly forgot. Take this,
" he said and threw a head-sized crystal at me.
nNot a crystal, but a core. The core of Prime and seeing how warm it is feeling and massive fiery energies inside it. It's likely from the bird.
n
"Thank you,
" I replied.
nI will not decline it. It will be very helpful to me; I could do many things with it. However, I will have to be very careful. The slightest mistake dealing with this thing. I will mind myself vaporized along with everyone around me.
nAn hour passed, when I turned back, before looking ahead with a frown on my face.
n
"Your senses are quite sharp, young man, to feel them,
" he said a moment later, feeling sparks of surprise in his eyes.
n
"There are people following us?
" I asked, terrified.
nFor a few minutes, I had felt eyes on my back. Like someone was looking at me, but I saw no
none behind me, and I didn't dare to use my soul so close to Prime.
n
"Yes, they have been for a few minutes,
" he replied almost casually, to my horror.
n
"Then shouldn't we move faster?
" I asked.
nEverything might be a blur to me, but I could calculate the speed and it is constant since we
nhad left.
nHe didn't change it.
n
"There is no need. They won't attack us,
" he replied, almost sure of that. Though I could see the cautiousness hidden behind his casual façade.
nHe will act if those behind us act and there is more to it. A confidence that he will be fine.
n'Our people might be around,' I thought.
