Chapter 204 - The Fight for Admission

After seeing Mike’s result, Zelli said to the examiner in dissatisfaction.

“Teacher, why can’t this guy’s quality be detected?”

The examiner did not pay attention to Zelli’s question and only said indifferently.

“All the arrangements are decided by the school. Naturally, there is a reason for this result.”

Mike put his hand down and walked to the side quietly.

It was Seigne’s turn to take the stone tablet test.

Seigne raised his hands and closed his eyes.

He seemed to have predicted his result, so his body was trembling in anticipation.

A white light flashed.

“Seigne, muggle, low-level, entered the political class of the Culture Department!”

Seeing the result, Seigne was both happy and sad because his muggle characteristics had been seen by everyone.

Zelli bent over as she laughed at him.

“It doesn’t matter, Seigne. Don’t bother about the judgment of others. At least the result was good, right?” Mike comforted Seigne.

Seigne simply nodded his head and looked into the distance.

When the last person’s stone tablet test was over, the examiner led everyone who had finished the test to the New Students’ Service Office to check in.

They walked into the ancient building.

Only then did Mike realize that this ancient building was like an exhibition hall.

The wall was engraved with the school history of Hunter College.

After passing through the ancient building, Mike and the group came to a cliff.

The examiner addressed everyone.

“Everyone, don’t be afraid. What you see is just the magic barrier that we have set up here.

“I believe that everyone has already guessed the function of this barrier. It is being used as camouflage.

“Next, please take this step bravely. Behind the cliff is the full view of Hunter College.”

As soon as the examiner finished speaking, Zelli could not wait to jump towards the cliff.

When her body touched the air, a horizontal barrier appeared.

Soon, Zelli disappeared into it.

Next was Jasco. Everyone jumped into the barrier one after another.

It was Mike’s turn. He was not as nervous as the others.

Mike looked at Seigne.

“Why don’t you jump first? I’ll watch you from behind!”

Mike had already noticed Seigne’s nervousness.

Seigne took a deep breath.

Closing his eyes, he jumped again and finally entered the barrier.

It was Mike’s turn.

He merely tiptoed and his whole body easily crossed the barrier.

Everything here gave Mike an experience that he had never experienced before.

As the examiner was leading the way, Mike noticed the arena that had been built in the open space.

A pair of mage students were competing with each other in the arena.

Below the arena, countless students were cheering and shouting.

“This is the traditional program of our Hunter College, free combat. Through free combat, you can also accumulate credits. Credits can be used to exchange for many things.”

The examiner said to Mike.

Mike nodded and continued to walk forward.

In front of him was a huge circular building.

Mike thought to himself that this should be the New Students’ Service Office.

Because Hunter College always had an endless stream of new students, even a small New Students’ Service Office was built in a particularly imposing manner.

They walked into the interior of the circular building.

The magnificent hall was displayed before everyone’s eyes.

“Fendi, please take these young ones through the enrollment procedures.”

“Okay, everyone, please follow me.”

The female teacher named Fendi replaced the examiner and continued to lead everyone to the New Students’ Service Office.

They walked up to the second floor and pushed open a huge wooden door.

The group finally arrived at the New Students’ Service Office.

“Everyone, please register your personal information on this form again. The results of the stone tablet test have already been written down. Once you’re done, please hand them over to me.”

Mike took the form from Fendi and prepared to fill it out.

Suddenly, the wooden door was pushed open again.

“Who’s Mike? Please come with me!”

Mike turned his head and saw an old man with a flowing beard calling his name.

Mike raised his hand.

“It’s me!”

The old man looked over Mike carefully after spotting him.

“Okay, come with me!”

Everyone was puzzled. They did not know why Mike had been called away for no reason.

Zelli was the first to speak.

“Teacher, why does he have to go with you? Did he do something wrong?”

Zelli gloated.

“No, it’s just that the Dean of the Long-Range Magic Department asked to see him. Mike, let’s go!”

Hearing this, the smile on Zelli’s face disappeared again.

Mike followed the old man out of here and went to a huge building that looked like a palace.

“Law School.”

Mike saw the big words on the building and realized that this palace was the law school.

Mike continued to follow the old man.

He walked to the third floor of the law school, which was the floor of the Long-Range Magic Department.

The old man pushed open a door nearby and said to Mike, “Everyone is waiting for you, come in quickly!”

Walking into the door, Mike saw a middle-aged man who was dressed elegantly.

The man looked in Mike’s direction and then said, “You must be Mike. I’m the Head of the Long-Range Magic Department, Cisco. I’m very happy that you will be joining our Long-Range Magic Department’s big family!”

Mike looked at Cisco in front of him. He started to feel an extremely familiar feeling in his heart.

“Cisco… Teacher Cisco…”

Mike looked at Cisco in front of him in a daze.

When Cisco saw Mike in front of him, he felt a wave of doubt in his heart.

Then, Cisco looked at Mike and asked, “What’s wrong, Mike? Do you know who I am?”

Mike looked at Cisco in front of him in a daze.

However, after a moment of thought, Mike shook his head at Cisco.

Finally, he said to Cisco, “No, I think I’m wrong!”

As he said this, Mike looked at Cisco again, before asking him, “Teacher Cisco, why did you call me here alone?”

Cisco smiled after hearing Mike’s words.

Then he said to Mike, “Don’t you know?”

Hearing Cisco’s words, Mike was also puzzled.

Then, he questioned Cisco again.

“What’s wrong?”

Looking at Mike who did not know anything, Cisco smiled comfortably before explaining to him, “Of course it’s because of the stone tablet!”

“The stone tablet?”

Mike asked doubtfully.

Cisco nodded at Mike.

Then, he continued to speak.

“Yes! It’s because of the stone tablet! I really wanted to know why your ability couldn’t be detected by the stone tablet!

“Is it convenient for you to show me your strength now?”

When Mike heard Cisco’s words, a burst of doubts arose in his heart.

However, suddenly, Mike’s brain twisted in pain again.

Mike fell to the ground completely.

“Mike, what happened to you?”

Cisco quickly walked in Mike’s direction before helping him up.

Mike struggled to support his own body.

Then, he said to Cisco, “I’m fine… Teacher, please don’t worry about me!”

Seeing this, Cisco said, “Sigh… It looks like I won’t be able to see your strength for a while!

“So be it then!”
