Chapter 208 - Maggie’s Teaching

Mike followed everyone downstairs.

There were more than twenty unlucky people who had not worn school uniforms this time. At thie moment, there were fewer than ten people left in the classroom.

When he came to the playground, Mike consciously followed in the middle of the running team.

Along the way, there were people who continuously greeted Mike warmly.

“You must be Mike, the genius who defeated Blue yesterday. It’s you, right?”

“Mike, Mike, is Blue really that weak? I heard from them that he didn’t even manage to hurt you at all.”

Mike answered each person politely.

However, he still vaguely heard several unfriendly voices.

“Didn’t you just beat a person at the beginning of school? What were you showing off for?”

“Yeah, yeah, it’s not like he beat a horde leader beast. How dare he pretend to be some kind of expert? Ridiculous!”

“Look at him, you can tell he’s a gigolo just by looking at him.”

“Yeah, yeah. I heard that he hooked up with Jasmine from our Law Faculty as soon as he arrived. How hateful!”

Mike was a little speechless as he listened to these people’s unfriendly remarks, but he had no intention of arguing with them over it.

Soon, the group had run ten laps.

By now, Mike found that the speed of these people had obviously decreased.

Irene did not have the strength to continue speaking either.

She just ran and wiped her sweat.

When Mike saw the two mounds of flesh on her chest move, his face turned red again.

Not long after, some people began to fail to keep up with the advancing group.

The one leading the charge was a black-haired youth.

Actually, Mike had already taken note of this youth.

Just as the roll call had been called out, this youth had also caused quite a stir.

“Did you guys know? I heard that before he entered school, he killed a small Lord-Ranked Fierce Beast!”

“Really? Really? A small Lord-Ranked Fierce Beast?”

“Is he really that strong? Why do I not believe it?”

The youth’s name was Ah Fei.

“No wonder his speed has always been so uniform. It looks like he has some strength.”

Although Mike had been chatting with the others at the start of the run, he had been paying attention to the movements of the others.

Ah Fei had not rushed to the front from the beginning, but he merely followed in the middle of the team.

It was not until the number of laps had increased and the people in front had slowed down that he had caught up and continued to increase his speed.

As he was making his observations, Irene spoke to Mike.

“Mike, aren’t you tired? How is it that I haven’t seen you have even a drop of sweat?”

Faced with Irene’s question, Mike said, “Maybe it’s because my stamina is better!”

After some time, everyone finally finished fifty laps.

The person who run the fastest was none other than Ah Fei.

Mike had stayed in the middle of the crowd, so he had used more time than Ah Fei.

Mike saw that there was only a little sweat on Ah Fei’s body after he had stopped.

He was not panting at all.

As Mike was looking at Ah Fei, Ah Fei turned to look back at him.

There was no hostility in his eyes, but there was no sign of friendliness either.

Everyone returned to the classroom.

Maggie was no longer conducting a lesson. It was now a self-study period.

Seeing that everyone had returned, Maggie said, “Please follow the rules of our class, or you will have to run every day!”

Maggie smiled.

At the same time, Maggie was looking at everyone who had just finished fifty laps in the classroom.

Maggie found that more or less everyone except Mike was sweating.

She looked at him in surprise.

After everyone had returned to their seats, Maggie spoke again.

“Regarding my information, I believe that the students have already seen it through the poster hanging at the entrance of the law school.

“That’s right, I’m a beginner-grade mage, the weakest existence among all mages.”

Looking at the students who were voicing out their various different opinions, Maggie raised her voice by a few decibels.

“At the same time, I’m also the teacher who taught most of the top ten students in the grade.”

Hearing this, the usually naughty students also quieted down.

“My curriculum is more focused on theory and practice. As for cultivation, I hope that the students will be able to complete it on their own.”

Hearing this, Mike was actually fairly happy.

For him, cultivation was his daily routine.

Although he had hints of hidden information, it could not help him to deduce and simulate the infinite possibilities of various cultivation methods and skills.

It just so happened that teacher Maggie was good in the field of theory and practice.

This greatly made up for Mike’s shortcomings in this aspect.

“Alright, students, before the class starts, we will first choose a class monitor. Who would like to volunteer for the position?”

The class remained silent.

Suddenly, a voice sounded out.

“I, Teacher! I want to be the class monitor!”

The person who had spoken was Irene, who was sitting beside Mike.

Looking at Irene who was so passionately volunteering herself, Teacher Maggie continued to ask helplessly.

“Other than Irene, is there anyone else who wants to be the class monitor?”

Teacher Maggie turned her gaze to Mike.

Mike lowered his head without responding to Margie’s gaze.

Seeing that no one responded to her, Margie said.

“Then, Irene will temporarily be the class monitor for our class.”

Irene clapped her hands happily.

“Okay, don’t worry, Ms. Maggie. I will do my best to manage our class!”

Teacher Maggie smiled helplessly and continued on.

“Alright, alright. Since the class monitor has been decided, let’s start the class now!

“I would like to ask you a question first. How much do you know about spell skills?”

Maggie asked enthusiastically.

However, no one answered her, so Maggie continued.

“Do you think that the quality of spell skills determines the power of spells?”

This time, Zelli answered quickly.

“Of course, Teacher. If that’s not the case, then why do so many people go after high-quality high-level spells?”

Hearing Zelli’s answer, Maggie replied.

“If Zelli’s answer had been given more than ten years ago, of course, it would be correct. However, in recent years, I have made an important discovery.”

Maggie deliberately kept them in suspense as she continued.

“I have found a method that allows even the lowest level fireball to release an extremely strong power!

“I call this method ‘Advanced Upgrade’!”

Mike listened attentively to Maggie’s words.

A sense of familiarity started to rise in his heart.

“Didn’t Teacher Hankov say these words a long time ago? Really!”

Mike muttered to himself.

Suddenly, a piece of chalk was thrown at Mike’s head.

“Mike, don’t be distracted in class!”

Mike came back to his senses. It was Maggie who had done it.

When Mike heard Maggie’s words, Mike immediately replied.

“Yes, Teacher!”
