n“I still have something on, I don’t want to go back for now.”
nSu Wan pursed her lips and rejected him bluntly.
nThis was something Jing Chen had never seen before, making him feel unfamiliar for a moment, but staring at Su Wan’s face, he felt depressed.
nShe was disobedient!
nHe couldn’t be bothered to waste any more words. He grabbed Su Wan’s hand and pulled her away.
nSu Wan glared and immediately started to struggle free. She gritted her teeth and said, “Let go!”
nThe man who had been silent all this time frowned as well. He grabbed her wrist from behind Su Wan. The two men’s hands were extremely close, and neither of them gave in.
n“Wanwan doesn’t want to go with you. Please respect her wishes.”
nHis voice was gentle and firm.
n“It’s none of your business!” Jing Chen frowned visibly. He exuded an unapproachable aura and his eyes were cold. His gaze landed on the man’s face.
nSu Wan had never seen him like this. He looked unhappy.
n“I was the one who sent her here, it naturally has something to do with me.” The man was not annoyed. Instead, he looked at Jing Chen calmly, not afraid at all.
nSu Wan could feel the strength of their hands on her and knew that they were competing. “She is my wife, who are you? Why are you meddling in the Jing Family’s business? Don’t be a useless person who only knows how to talk. You can only be stubborn this time.” Jing Chen suddenly moved closer to Su Wan and moved closer to the man.
nJing Chen’s tone was so cold that Su Wan found it unfamiliar.
nSu Wan panicked, knowing that if this went on, Xiaxia’s friend would be implicated. It was a small matter to vent her anger for her, but it would be a big deal if he provoked Jing Chen.
nShe quickly pulled the man’s hand away and turned around. She said apologetically, “I’m sorry to trouble you. Tell Xia Jing that I’m fine and that you don’t have to worry about me. I have something to settle with him, so I’ll leave with him.”
nThe man chuckled and said indifferently, “It’s not like I can only be stubborn for once. Don’t worry about me. If there’s anything, contact me. I’ve added you on Wechat. Xia Jing’s the one that sent it.”
n“Okay.”
nSu Wan agreed and forced a smile on her face as she watched the man leave.
nHowever, she was stunned by the man’s words. She did not understand why the man she had only met once would say such things to her. However, she benefited from it. She, Su Wan, was not someone that no one cared about. She just wanted to show in front of Jing Chen that this man was not that important to her.
nJing Chen immediately let go of Su Wan and sneered. “If you’re so unwilling, just chase after him.”
nSu Wan glanced at him and changed the topic. “Have you investigated the matter?”
n“Done.”
nWith that light sentence, Jing Chen took the lead and walked in front. He had no intention of waiting for Su Wan at all. His back view was so determined that it seemed like it did not matter if she followed him or not.
nSu Wan was so angry that she glared at him from behind.
nShe was furious!
nSu Wan still followed him and got into his car. He was in no hurry to drive. He sat in the car quietly and took out a lighter. He lit a cigarette and started smoking without even opening the window.
nAmidst the swirling smoke, Su Wan choked uncomfortably. She had always hated second-hand smoke!
nHowever, the man did not turn on the car. He could not even open the car window. She was just short of opening the door and getting out of the car to take a breather. Just as she was about to open the car door, the sound of the door being locked was accompanied by a light chuckle…
nExasperated, Su Wan suddenly turned around and looked at Jing Chen coldly. Hatred surged in her heart a hundred times!
n“You know I don’t like second-hand smoke!”
nJing Chen glanced at her casually and chuckled. “You know that you’re not allowed to get close to other men during the marriage.”
n“I’m not close to him, so don’t accuse others of baseless things!” Su Wan retorted.
nJing Chen nodded thoughtfully and said meaningfully, “Yup, Wanwan…”
nSu Wan was stunned. She looked at him in confusion. This sentence stunned her.
nHer mind was racing, and she didn’t understand what he meant.
nJust as she was thinking nonsense, Jing Chen smiled faintly and said mockingly, “So just about any man can call you Wanwan. Aren’t you being too casual?”

nSu Wan laughed angrily. Her face was full of coldness. Looking at the man in front of her, she laughed until her heart broke. “Our marriage only exists in name. You can see other women every day, so why can’t I? I am being too casual when someone sends me off. What about you?”
n
