nTurns out that Keito is not the only Lord from the Twighlight Beast that is hunting magic beasts in that Mountain Range

nTo create wolf-type werebeast nuclei, corpses of wolves are needed. The ingredients differ depending on what the nuclei would be

nKeito’s senior wanted a Bizarre Eagle-type werebeast nuclei as that magic beast is one of the stronger magic beasts. In return, Keito’s senior would also be stronger

nHowever, to create the nuclei, more than one corpse of Bizarre Eagle is needed and the other Lords under Keito’s senior are instructed to hunt Bizarre Eagles

nThat’s already a very good clue. Rezen just has to find people that are hunting Bizarre Eagles. If those people use the Formation Magic: Harmony of Ten Beasts then no doubt that they are members of Twighlight Beasts

nThe mage created a large lump of white crystals in front of her powered up by her subordinates’ strength and also the power of nature that blocks the beam attack of the Bizarre Eagle

nThese eagles’ energy beams aren’t normally something that an average mage could block considering that their attack was the combination of the power of three elements

nHowever, with the help of the formation, the mage managed to block the energy beam quite easily

n“My first prey” Rezen thought as he stared at these ten mages inside the invisible barrier that would prevent the Bizarre Eagle from escaping if it tried to

nRezen waved his hand and a piece of broccoli appeared on his hand

nIt was said that broccolis increase a man’s libido but this mutated broccoli of Rezen increases something else

nHe threw the broccoli inside his mouth and chewed it a bit before swallowing

nHe can feel heat spreading from his stomach to the rest of his body. The mana inside his elixir field stirred. Even his mystic gems glowed

nRezen called out his lightning-type gem and both his mystic gem and mystic tattoo resonated with the natural laws, boosting his power by a large margin thanks to his Link blessing

nThe power of lightning gathered at Rezen’s fist. Sparks of lightning rage on his fist, ready to deal devastating damage any time from now

nWith a serious expression on his face, Rezen moved his arm to charge before his fist punched the air

nThat punch sent a thick blue streak of lightning straight to the invisible barrier. Its power was deadly and lethal

nIt flew at a very fast speed that none of the mages inside the formation has the time to react especially since they were in the middle of a fight

nEven 4th fusion rank mages cannot easily destroy that barrier even if the casters let them attack the barrier

nHowever, Rezen which is only at the 3rd rank managed to create cracks in it

nHis action causes the casters’ focus to falter, including the only 4th-rank mage

nShe unconsciously turned her head to check what happened which was a bad decision on her part as the Bizarre Eagle uses that chance to attack

nAn attack that resulted in that female mage losing one of her arms

nWith the help of the formation, 4th rank mages would have an easy time defeating and killing even magic beasts at the Bizarre Eagle’s level

nHowever, it doesn’t mean that they couldn’t be injured especially if there is an external factor included

n“Who’s there?!” The female mage shouted angrily while holding what remains of her arm

nUnfortunately, the Bizarre Eagle doesn’t give her time to think or act. It flapped its wings wildly and raging winds revolved inside the barrier

nThe winds cut and abused the surrounding trees, even the grass was cut or uprooted

nSplinters flew around and the members of Twighlight Beast has no choice but to refocus on the Bizzare Eagle

nUnfortunately for them, Rezen is still not finished yet

n“Nightmare Crows, attack!” Rezen ordered and his Nightmare Crows that hid in the shadows showed themselves

nNormally, the female mage at the 4th rank has a soul strong enough to notice the Nightmare Crows

nBut since she is busy with the Bizarre Eagle, she failed to notice their presence

nA thousand and five hundred Nightmare Crows emerged from the shadows. They collectively opened their beaks to send purple beams of energy that slammed on the invisible barrier

nBut even then, a part of her crystal sheet was still crushed under the might of the eagle’s claw
