n631 Quick decision.
nAfter a little bit more chat with Zirrack, Blake excused
nhimself and made his way to the restaurant section and took a seat before
nscanning the menu.
nAs an Angel, Blake had no need for food as his organs most
nespecially, had evolved to being able to survive solely on the environmental
nmana which it automatically absorbed. However, since his advancement into the
nAngel realm, Blake had never stopped indulging himself in mouth-watering
ndelicacies.
nIt has always been one of his favourite things to do, and it
nalways reminded him of how simple life used to be.
nOnce he had made up his mind on what he wanted, Blake
ninformed the waiter who took the order, and soon after came the food for him, Ebony,
nand Ivory.
nFor appetizer, he was served large mushroom caps filled with
na mixture of cream cheese, parmesan, garlic, and chopped crab meat, then baked
nuntil golden and bubbly.
nThe main course was an oven-baked salmon fillet seasoned
nwith herbs and lemon, served on a bed of savoury lentils cooked with onions and
ngarlic, and accompanied by sautéed spinach.
nDessert was silky smooth chocolate mousse made with silken
ntofu, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla, topped with a sprinkle of cocoa
npowder and fresh raspberries.
nThe sumptuous three-course meal was just the first round of
ncourse. Blake had order 2 more rounds of 3 course meals while ignoring the
nshocked expressions on the faces of the customers in the restaurant.
nIt was just like the good old days of Magic school!
n“The good thing about being an Angel is having full control
nof your metabolism rate, so I don’t have to worry about staying in shape as I
ncan easily burn all the unwanted fat.” It wasn’t as if he ever has issues with
nmaintaining a healthy weight, but the idea that he could go all out whenever he
nate made him happy.
nEbony and Ivory who were done with their food couldn’t help
nbut look at him with widened eyes when they heard his crazy thought process.
n‘He has never gone all out before?!’
n“That actually explains why I have never seen an overweight
nAngel before!” Blake was stunned by the sudden revelation causing him to miss
ntheir reaction.
nAfter settling the bill with his black card that was given
nto him by Luciano, Blake began making his way out of the Adventurer Association
nbuilding.
n“It’s quite shocking that they didn’t cease the money in my
naccount, but I feel it was one of their plans to track my location if I was ever to make a payment through the card.” Blake chuckled at the thought of their
nplans leaving him with absurd amounts of money. “Too bad all of this doesn’t
nmean much to me again.”
nIt didn’t take long for him to board a carriage, and in less
nthan 20 minutes he was already back home.
nHaving left the door open, Blake pushed the door and made
nhis way inside the house. In fact, all the doors in the house had been busted
nopen when the Ash Corps came looking for him, and up till now, they hadn’t been
nfixed.
nHowever, he didn’t see the point of getting them fixed. Anyone
nstrong enough to be a threat to him could instantly blow up the house, while
nanyone else who might be snooping around the house was literally asking for a
ndeath wish.
n“It’s surprising that he isn’t back yet.” Blake shrugged his
nshoulders and made his way to his room upstairs.
nHe currently had nothing to do but he was long used to being
nbored. So he floated in a crossed-legged position directly in front of his full
nglass window. He, Ebony and Ivory sat in silence as they enjoyed the stunning
nview of the sunset.
nAn hour-plus later, the sun had gone down below the horizon,
nsound of the front door downstairs opened, they didn’t move. It was only when
nBrian finally came upstairs and saw them, and they finally turned to him.
n“That’s so cool!” Brian couldn’t help but confess as Blake
nlooked like a heavenly entity with two powerful beasts resting beside him.
n“Finally, you are back.”
nFor the rest for the day, nothing noteworthy happened.
nHaving had a long day, Brian didn’t take long before going to bed, while Blake
nwho could go months without sleep stayed in the same position all through the
nnight.
nAlthough he didn’t show it, he still had a lot of internal
nissues and feelings to sort out with the toughest being the exploration of the
nsouthern continent and the race to becoming All-Father.
n…
nThe next day, Blake watched as the sun rose high up in the
nsky, and only moved when Camilla and Tessie arrived at his place.
nOnce their carriages has stopped in front of his compound,
nBlake made his way down to the door where he opened the door even before they
nknocked.
n“Welcome back.” Blake smiled as he gestured for them to come
ninside.
n“Where is Brian?” Camilla asked as the living was empty.
n“Normal Brian, he is still asleep.” Blake shut the door and
ntook a seat in between the two.
n“Did you girls miss already or did you finally make up your
nmind?” Blake teased, causing Tessie to turn red while a naughty smile appeared
non Camilla’s face and a deep sexual tension emanated from her.
n“Why don’t we find out…” Camilla placed her hands on him,
nbut before she could rub his chest, they heard the sound of the guest room door
nopening.
nImmediately, she took her hand off Blake and a few seconds
nlater, Brian walked into the living room while rubbing his eyes.
n“Eh?” Brian was surprised to see Camilla and Tessie, but
ninstead of wondering how long he had slept he said. “That was quick, I thought
nyou guys would be here in the afternoon at best?”
n“It is already afternoon.” Tessie giggled.
n
