nLuo Qianqian and Feng Qing walked out of the room to get some fresh air, Luo Qianqian looked at Feng Qing and asked, “Feng Qing, can you please do me a favor?”

n“At your service, Your Highness.” answered Feng Qing with his fists clasped.

nLuo Qianqian trusted Feng Qing one hundred percent.

n

n

n“Thanks, so here is the plan… …” whispered Luo Qianqian at Feng Qing’s ear.

nLuo Qianqian gave Feng Qing a bottle of liquid that she got from Xiao Bai in the end and asked, “clear?”

n“Consider it done, Your Highness.” replied Feng Qing with great respect.

nSeeing Feng Qing’s receding figure, Luo Qianqian felt an upsurge of emotion, she was so determined to revenge.

n

n

nFeng Qing went to some bush to set up a trap.

nThe trap was pretty simply designed, he dug a hole and put a jar that was filled with the liquid. With that he jumped on a tree and waited for it to happen.

nFeng Qing was in doubt about whether this plan was going to work or not.

nWell, he was actually very much in doubt, he didn’t think this liquid would be so magical that it would attract venomous insects.

n

n

nPeople usually took great pains in trapping venomous animals, and any carelessness would incur critical circumstances even death.

nWould the liquid that Her Highness gave him work like a charm? He had smelt it and observed it, it was nothing special.

n“If Prince Eighth knew about this, he would definitely ask me to find out who was behind the scene and make that person die a miserable death.” thought Feng Qing.

nSuddenly, he heard some rustling while he was lost in thoughts.

nFeng Qing looked at the ground, there were a troop of scolopendras and scorpions marching down to the trap.

nFeng Qing was dumbfounded, so the liquid did work out beautifully? These venomous animals were attracted by the liquid?

n

n

nOf course this liquid would work like a charm, not just the venomous insects would follow the scents and fall for it, all animals would die for this scent.

nJust like when Luo Qianqian and Murong Xue were having that fishing competition, the Glaze Fish swarmed to Luo Qianqian, and in the final round Luo Qianqian got not just one Glaze Fish, but a cluster of them like grapes.

nFeng Qing held his breath and kept looking at how those venomous insects marching down to the jar under the moonlight.

nHe found himself in constant awe ever since he got to know Her Highness, he had witnessed how the assassin who was there to kill Her Highness ended up taking orders from her, he had witnessed how Her Highness won the fishing competition against Murong Xue despite that was her first time went fishing, and today he witnessed how Her Highness set up a trap using some liquid to trap some venomous insects.

nWhat on earth was this liquid? Just a small bottle of it would attract so many scolopendras and scorpions.

nMurong Yun had trapped those venomous insects before, but he used his Internal Chi to sense the whereabouts of them and tracked them precisely, it was some hard work. But Her Highness’s way was so much more mind blowing, just some liquid!

nJust imagine, one day Her Highness spilled a larger potion of this liquid on the ground, who knew what creatures it would attract!

nToxin was the biggest nightmare for anyone, even the greatest martial arts cultivator’s hands were tied in face of toxins.

n

n

nSeeing the jar was almost full, Feng Qing promptly jumped on the ground and put the lid of the jar back on.

nFeng Qing’s lightness skills were excellent, the return trip from the Prime Minister Mansion to the bush plus the trap merely took him less than two hours.

nIt would take more than two hours for Luo Qianqian just for one way from the Prime Minister Mansion to the bush.

nFeng Qing steered clear of the guards when he returned to the mansion, and he went directly to the Second Concubine’s yard. He opened the jar and let some of the insects crawl out of the jar.

nThen he went to the First Lady’s yard and let go of the rest of the insects.

nWith that being done, he used his internal chi to crush the jar, obliterate all trace of the crime.

nFeng Qing went back to Luo Qianqian and reported what he had done, Luo Qianqian gave Feng Qing a thumb up when she heard Feng Qing said he crushed the jar to destroy any evidence.

nNo wonder Murong Yun trusted Feng Qing this much.

nSoon.

nPrime Minister Luo’s Mansion was ablaze with lights, the servants were running around to capture the venomous insects.

nThe First Lady and The Second Concubine’s yards were the most rowdy two among all the yards, the sound of “there’s another one” lingered on.

nScreaming and cursing filled the two yards, the servants held torches and were in search of those venomous insects.

nPrime Minister Luo’s face was darkened, he was resting with The Second Concubine when he heard Luo Keer’s shrieking, “Help! Scolopendra!”

n

n

nHe soon got out of bed and walked out of the bedroom to check what was going on, what met his eyes when he opened the door was the busy servants and some burned scolopendras on the ground.

nHow strange!

nHe knew the servants had always been sprinkling powder to avoid those venomous insects in the gardens and bushes, how come there were so many of them emerging from nowhere?

nUnless… this wasn’t a coincidence.

nThe Second Concubine now also walked out from the bedroom, but she glared at Xiao Cui when she noticed what was going on.

nXiao Cui was now standing next to Luo Keer who looked frightened by the insects. Meeting the Second Concubine’s glare, Xiao Cui was terrified and she wanted to defend herself.

nBut she shushed herself when she heard the Second Concubine’s snort, she realized she shouldn’t say anything in the presence of Prime Minister Luo just in case Prime Minister Luo sensed anything.

nLuo Keer cried out loud when she saw her parents in the yard, “Daddy, mom, I’m so terrified, there were scolopendras in my room.”

n“I don’t want to die, help me, I’m so afraid… …” Luo Keer gave way to a storm of weeping.

nPrime Minister Luo hugged her and tried to comfort her when a servant came to report there were venomous insects found in the First Lady’s yard as well.

nHearing that, Prime Minister Luo patted Luo Keer’s back and said, “Keer, it’s all right now, look at the ground, we’ve burned the scolopendras already, you are safe now. I’m going to check on your sister and your Mother.”

nLuo Keer pouted, “Daddy, you only love my sister and my Mother, you favor them over me and mom.”

n“Silly talking, I love you all, I don’t favor anyone.” explained Prime Minister Luo with a gentle tone.

n“Madam, please take care of Keer for me.” Prime Minister Luo asked the Second Concubine.

nThe Second Concubine had always been acting like she was the most considerate person in the world, she nodded with a smile even thought she was cursing the First Lady and Luo Yuyan in her heart, “Don’t worry about us, Your Lordship, I will take good care of Keer.”

nPrime Minister Luo felt touched seeing how considerate and tender his Second Concubine was, he held her hand and said gently, “I’ll be back soon, my love.”

n
