Chapter 3: Growth

nShillong returned to the cave without anything out of the usual happening.
nEvery day after that, Shillong’s lifestyle consisted of eating, sleeping, eating, sleeping…
nHe lived just like a lazy pig. After sleeping for almost 18 hours every day, he will enjoy the carefully prepared meal made by his mother after waking up.
nThe only difference between him and a pig is one simple function.
nShillong discovered that his body seemed to have no excretion function.
nThis is strange, anyway, his three siblings do have this function.
nEvery day, a silver-gray, cool turd could be seen on the ground of this luxurious and beautiful decorated cave.
nEvery time these turds appear in the cave, the silver dragon mother will emit a faint silver glow from her hands, driving the turd into the air, then outside of the cave.
nThis scene is very magical. Shillong can finally confirm with certainty that this is a western fantasy-type world.
nThis is good, at least this indicates that the power ceiling of this world won’t be too low, giving him more possibilities.
nA month later.
nStill in that gorgeously decorated cave.
nThe four little dragons have changed a lot.
nThey have grown up a lot, the two little wyverns are now two circles bigger than before.
nArman is one circle bigger than the small wyrms.
nOf course, Shillong is the one that changed the most.
nHis body size has at least doubled.
nCompared with the rest of his brothers, he looks like an adult next to a single 12 years old child, and two 8-9 years old children.
nThis greatly surprised the silver dragon mother.
nShillong didn’t know why. Maybe it was because he ate more?
n’Boring!’
n’It has been a month since I came to this world!’
n’Every day, I kept repeating the process of eating and sleeping, sometimes staring at the wall or the pile of treasures in a daze.’
n’I can’t stand it anymore!’
n’It would have been better to never reincarnate!’
n’I’m going to die without the internet!’
n’I have to find something to do.’
nThinking about this, Shillong resolutely stood up, then walked to the door of the cave.
nSeeing this, Arman who was lying on a pile of treasures, immediately opened his mouth and said.
n”Shillong! What are you doing? Didn’t mother tell us to never go out?”
n”I just want to go out and bask in the sun at the entrance of the cave. Staying in this place every day, aren’t you bored?”
nShillong replied.
n’Arman, this kid, could only repeat his name over and over again a month ago.’
n’But in just one month, his level of wisdom has significantly improved. I’m now able to hold conversations with him with no problem.’
nShillong estimated that his intelligence and wisdom are no less than an 8 years old human child.
n”Shillong! Why don’t you listen to our mother?”
nArman cried loudly from behind.
nShillong turned around and said to his little brother.
n”The surrounding area is full of mother’s aura. Moreover, I will just stay at the entrance of the cave, there won’t be anything dangerous! And! How many times have I told you! Call me big brother!”
n”Shillong, you bastard! Don’t think that since you are the biggest, I will call you big brother! I will never admit it!”
n”You stupid kid, Even if we don’t count that, I’m the first one that broke through the egg, so I’m the big brother!”
n”You can’t lie to me! Since mom didn’t say that you are the big brother, then you are not my big brother!”
n”According to the custom of the dragon clan, the bigger and stronger one is the big brother!”
n”But you are different from me! You are black and I am silver, so you are not my big brother!”
n”Tch! I don’t want to talk to you anymore, I’m going out to sunbathe.”
nShillong said angrily, then, ignoring Arman, he walked straight out of the big gate.
nSeeing this, Arman angrily stomped the ground with his forelimbs.
n”Since mom said to take care of each other, I can’t let you go out alone!”
nAfter saying this, he followed behind him.
nHowever, after taking a few steps, he stopped.
nBecause the two small wyverns are following behind him.
n“Roar!”
nArman immediately turned around and roared, scaring the two small wyverns to escape.
n”Hmph! Two stupid guys!”
nArman murmured, then quickly followed Shillong.
nThe two small dragons, one behind the other, quickly walked to the entrance of the cave. Shillong walked straight out of the cave, to an area where the sun could shine on him.
nShillong couldn’t help groaning.
n”Ohhh~so comfortable~”
nHe has the feeling of finally resting after three consecutive days of working.
n”It’s so cool!”
nThe warm and comfortable sunlight caused Shillong to feel very happy and fuzzy.
nThe sunshine even caused him to feel lazy, his previous thoughts of exploring the situation around or looking for something interesting have completely disappeared.
nWithout taking anything into consideration, he lazily laid on the ground. He suddenly turned around, exposing his belly, and letting the sunshine on his face.
nHis golden pupils directly looked at the sun. He didn’t feel any discomfort, in fact, he felt very comfortable.
n”Shillong! You really are a weird guy. You don’t like shiny treasures, but like to bask in the sun. Look at your ugly black scales~ They can’t reflect light! Then look at my scales! They are silver! So shiny, so beautiful!”
nArman taunted Shillong, then started admiring his own silver scales, looking very obsessed.
nShillong ignored Arman and continued basking in the sun.
nAfter lying there for a while, the silver dragon mother, Viola Soderberg, finally arrived with today’s food.
nShe slowly landed on the ground, looking at her two children with a displeased look on her face.
n”Shillong! Arman! Didn’t I say that you can’t get out of the cave? Why did you go outside? It’s dangerous! What if something attacked you while I was away!”
n”Mom! It’s the fault of Shillong, he was the one that wanted to go outside. Since I couldn’t persuade him, I could only follow and supervise him.”
nHearing his mother’s reprimanding, the newborn Silver Dragon Arman said anxiously.
nHe doesn’t want to be criticized by his mother.
n”Good job~ My little Arman is so sensible!”
nViola exclaimed, then gently rubbed the head of her small child.
nArman squinted happily.
n”Shillong! What’s the matter with you? Why did you leave the cave?”
nViola turned around and asked Shillong, who was still lazily laying on the ground.
n”Because it’s too boring Mom! It’s so boring to stay in a never-changing cave every day, eating and sleeping with nothing else to do!”
nShillong replied lazily.
nHe is now no longer as vigilant as before.
nAfter a month of getting along, he already has a certain understanding of his mother.
nShe is a very kind female dragon.
n”Huh? How did you learn to feel bored at such a young age? There are so many shiny treasures inside, including silver and gold, why do you still feel bored?”
nViola looked puzzled.
nShe recalled her childhood, sleeping and rolling on her mother’s treasure pile. How happy has she felt?
nThat was simply one of her happiest memories!
nWhy does Shillong still feel bored?
n”Those treasures aren’t mine.”
nShillong said casually.
nIt’s the nature of the dragon race to like treasures, a natural instinct.
nHe doesn’t want to reveal the fact that he doesn’t like treasures right now, as that would make him an extremely weird dragon.
n”Oh~ Little Shillong! Do you want your mother’s treasure? That’s impossible! This is the result of your mother’s hard work for more than 100 years. If you want your own treasure, you must wait until you grow enough to go out and look for it yourself.”
n”It’s too early for that! I like to bask in the sun, don’t you feel comfortable under the sunrays, mom?”
n”Hmm~ I don’t feel like that.”
nViola replied after thinking for a moment, then turned to Arman next to her and asked
n”Little Arman, do you like to bask in the sun?”
n”I don’t like it! Compared to sunbathing, I prefer to sleep on my mother’s treasures!”
nArman said.
n
