Chapter 283 - Emblem

During the last two weeks, many things had happened, and the most interesting was that both Umbra and Cosmo had finished their quality enhancement.

This was not an interesting fact, but rather the information he was supposed to but did not receive after their quality enhancement!

Neither Cosmo nor Umbra's evolution path revealed any of their hidden evolution paths.

While Cosmo's quality had reached Rare, it should have been high enough to reveal the Extraordinary evolution path, if it were to exist!

This meant that Cosmo's last evolution path was at the Legendary quality, which astonished Shane a little bit.

It was unexpected, but he could say the same about Umbra's evolution path that had not been revealed!

Umbra had three hidden evolution paths left and he had already increased his quality to Uncommon!

This meant that the next evolution path should be Extraordinary as the Rare quality evolution path would have been revealed by now!

When Shane noticed this, he couldn't help but feel shocked.

'If the third evolution path is at the Extraordinary quality, the fourth will be at the Legendary quality...Does that mean the fifth will be a Mythic one? I doubt it!'

Shane was sure that the last evolution path couldn't be at the Mythic quality, otherwise, he would have to prepare himself to save up lots of gold coins!

This quality upgrade couldn't be cheap!!

Nevertheless, Shane was happy to have increased the quality of both Umbra and Cosmo, because Umbra's strength had increased to the 10th Awakened stage with 70% written against it.

This indicated how strong he would be compared to other Expert stages!

Adding Umbra's Limit breaker title, Shane was sure that Umbra had the strength to fight against 'weaker' humans at the Expert stage with a mana purity of 80%

Shane was overjoyed by this revelation, and Cosmo was no less of a surprise.

There was not much about his characteristics that had changed, but Shane could tell that his control over both his spatial affinity and Space Jump ability had increased by a large margin,

At the same time, its strength had reached the 2nd Awakened stage.

The Hidden Paradise had enlarged its size to 1.6 kilometers in diameter and was large enough to accommodate every single Artisan they had hired during the last two weeks.

Because they had 10,000,000 gold coins, the Astral Artisans' capabilities had increased by a large margin, and they were able to provide much more equipment to nurture every single Artisan with their utmost efforts!

Talia had also invented a certain system that rewarded everyone with more equipment to be nurtured if one worked extremely hard.

The same applied to those who slacked off! They would have their points deducted if there was not a specific and reasonable reason for slacking off.

Thanks to that, the Astral Artisans' efficiency increased even further, and the only thing that was holding them back was the fact that the Hidden Paradise had yet to awaken its mana heart.

The craftsmen and other occupations didn't need to rely excessively on mana, but the five blacksmiths, eight runemasters, and 15 alchemists that were all beginners in their field were unable to use their whole capabilities without mana!

As such, they had to use some of the Hidden Paradise's stored mana.

This was less of a problem, because Shane had already accumulated an enormous amount of mana once again, and he was sure that this would be enough to sustain the Hidden Paradise with its current mana consumption, for several years.

Unfortunately, this didn't include the increase of mana that came with the numerical increase of Nightshade flower roots.

However, this was not problematic and Shane was of the opinion that they would be able to procure 40 million gold coins faster than Talia had assumed.

Shane's confidence was not unfounded because the Astral Artisans was able to find two more young students with an Duplicato occupation!

If that was not great enough to be astonished, the Astral Artisans member strength had increased from 28 members to 1028!

They had hired 1000 new members and among them, only 18 had an occupation at the Silver quality!

The rest had one at the gold or even platinum quality, which showed Shane how great their capabilities were!

Yet, even the 18 new silver occupations were extremely rare ones and there was no way he couldn't be fond of them!

With a total of around 800 Craftsmen, Shane was confident to increase their wealth by a lot!

There were a few rare and unique blueprints Talia had been able to procure, and the most important were those of Mortal and Tier-1 Extraordinary quality tools!

Those blueprints were the most important because it was a simple guide to create some basic tools for farming, crafting, weaving and so on from scratch!

Other than that, there were blueprints about Tier-2 Uncommon grade Mana-sphere-crossbows, a blueprint about the Tagradar wall, that was said to be among the top 5 of the most durable shelter walls within the basic dimensions!

Additionally, Maya and the other Architects they had hired, had started to create their own blueprint of a shelter tower!

This tower was named Greater Astral Tower, and could be made out of several different compositions of materials!

Maya had done lots of research and she was confident that not even superior peak-awakened beasts would be able to destroy the Greater Astral Tower as long as the materials she named were used!

Umbra had tested the test tower's durability and Maya's assumptions seemed feasible!

Adding the fact that many craftsmen would be able to utilize certain skills in order to strengthen a building further, the Greater Astral Tower would prove to be a great asset!

Thanks to Maya's platinum architect occupation, she didn't have many problems drawing everything she imagined, which was extremely helpful for creating the blueprints too!

Unfortunately, only the Greater Astral Tower had been a success so far, while the other blueprints she had shown Shane were scrapped because of their minor flaws, and not their uselessness!

Nevertheless, after the first Greater Astral Tower had appeared within the NoPainNoGain shop for display, many races that Shane had unlocked the shop too, had shown their interest in it.

There were even some races that had requested him to construct several Greater Astral towers if they were able to withstand the attacks of Superior peak-awakened beasts above the mana purity of 80%!

This was slightly more difficult, and every single craftsman had to utilize their skills to strengthen a single tower in order to pass the system's threshold which the race, called Nagardyr, had specifically requested!

In the end, a single tower was sold for 500,000 gold coins, but the skills that had been utilized to create this particular Greater Astral tower were enormous in number and quality!

Furthermore, it had taken them exactly 16 days to create one tower.

It would take a while before the Astral Artisans would be able to increase their efficiency, because most of them were still new, while the same applied to the Blacksmiths, runemasters, and Alchemists!

Only the weavers Shane had hired were already proficient in their job!

As long as he provided the correct, but also expensive yarn and silk, the three weaver sisters, whose occupation was at the platinum quality, could create the most beautiful clothes!

Shane was not sure where Talia had found those three sisters but he was glad nonetheless because they were able to weave Tier-2 (Rare) garments!

However, the most important fact was that these three sisters were tasked with weaving the clothes for the group members for the mana awakening event.

At the same time, their new emblem which Maya had designed was embedded in the newly weaved clothes which Shane, Aimy, Olivia, Jack, and Kylia would wear!

The emblem was simple!

It was a small, bright blue-colored star that left behind a trail of shining, golden starlight!
