Chapter 37 - Gathering Intel

nAs such, Shane was determined to start gathering information on PrimWeb's interracial section.

nBillions of threads could be seen and a few hundred new ones popped up within seconds, causing Shane's head to ache.

nAs such, he narrowed his search to find threads from races that were innately powerful enough to start their cultivation journey inside advanced primordial dimensions instead of the basic dimensions.

nWhat use were items he could collect for such races? Sell mortal-grade items to them? Good Joke! These items would not even satisfy their newborn descendants, let alone matured beings.

nShane knew what he was doing, at least partially, and the threads decreased by a huge margin, but he still frowned.

n`There are so many powerful races?` He began to wonder. This information alone was enough for him to feel a deep sense of pressure as a big question tormented his mind.

n`What if the race outside our stellar system is one of the stronger races with a starting point at the intermediate dimensions or a much higher foundation than ours?` Shane asked himself while frowning.

nMankind didn't even know if the beings outside the stellar system were friendly or hostile, or if they had access to the primordial dimensions.

nBut considering the worst-case scenario was the best thing one could do in such situations. Mankind prepared themselves to be invaded every day, while they armed themselves.

nAfter the stronger races were finally completely sorted out, Shane continued to filter multiple other races which would have a higher starting point.

nSome races would start at the mid or peak of the intermediate dimensions, allowing them to reign everywhere they went without a need to cultivate for years. Thus, it was better for Shane to sort them out.

nIt took him roughly half an hour and when he was finally done Shane saved everything within a pre-loadable section.

nWith that, he could always switch between the whole interracial forum threads and search through his small section that he needed to gather information for his next ingredient hunt.

nAs he started his research the first thread that caught his interest was about a race humanity had a treaty with.

nElves, or rather the most basic race.

nTheir starting point within the Primordial Dimension was the Intermediate-Dimension with a mana purity of roughly 70%. It was comparable to humans that had entered the Master stage with a mana purity of 70% to be on par with the most common average Elven youth.

nElven with an above-average mana aptitude and prodigies of their race would have a higher mana purity. Some threads said that their prodigies could at most have a mana purity of 90%, but Shane somehow doubted that.

n'Who revealed this information, if not the elves themselves? Would they really give out such precious information?'

nThe elven race had gone through multiple mutations over the course of millions of years since they had first come into existence, which caused them to split into two main sections.

nElves, Forest-elves, High-elves, Divine-elves, and so on, on one side, with Shadow-elves, Dark Ice-elves, Magma elves, and Blood elves on the other side.

nHumans liked to call them good and holy or bad and evil but Shane didn't like these prejudices because he hadn't known any of these races personally.

nWithout concrete information or undeniable facts, Shane wouldn't make a baseless assumption.

nNevertheless, these races interested him and he read the long thread that popped up in front of him without any hesitation.

nA frown slowly formed on Shane's handsome face which deepened, the more he read.

n`Ohh S**T` Shane could only shout in his mind when he comprehended what had happened.

nApparently, the two split fractions of the elven races finally decided to meet in order to form a truce after an unknown, yet, extremely long number of years.

nHowever, before the meeting could happen, the planet where the authorities had come together for the truce, was attacked by planetal destruction weapons. The massive attack obliterated billions of lives on the neutral planet within a single moment.

nOddly enough, all the 'authorities' from the elven races sent to the neutral planet were only dummies, as if the real authoritarian figures had known something bad would happen.

nAs such, instead of forming a truce, tension between the two races escalated further..Eventually, small disputes grew over time and war began to fill their part of the universe once again. The last cold war fought between the two races had been thousands of years ago.

nShane concluded that the main problem was that mankind, who had formed a treaty with the elves and forest elves was now most likely on the radar of the other `bad` elven races.

nHumanity was already facing problems with the Dark-Ice elves. They secretly supported some malicious human organizations after mankind accepted the treaty of their arch enemies- the elves and forest elves.

n`What would happen if they provided even more support or other elven races decided to help the hostile human organizations as well?` Shane began to wonder and his head began to hurt even more.

nHe didn't even want to imagine something like that, as it would be too devastating.

nBut Shane was one of the last humans that could do anything at the moment. As such, he decided to continue with his research, which would help his future goal.

nNevertheless, he still wrote down some notes and decided to look out for more information about the disputes between the different elven races for future reference.

nReading through the threads, Shane got to know about several races he had never heard of before. However, most threads were either complete garbage or messages about useless stuff. Only a few were about skirmishes, the control over certain Primordial dimensions, wars outside the primordial dimension, news about trade agreements, truces, alliances, and so on.

nNoting down the important information, he also wrote down the area they were living in.

nMaybe he could find a pattern and predict something out of it, or get to know what resources were in high demand.

nOverall, many races had flourished but the weaker ones had perished faster than one could expect.

nA certain race caught his attention. They were exactly like humans with their starting point at the Basic dimensions.

nWell, that was at least for the more common individuals of this particular race!

nIt was important for this race to enhance their lower beings' strength that had the highest quantity instead of their strongest individuals.

nAs such, Shane found his target, the Elementals' race also called Elus.

nThey were manifestations of the elements, shaped into all kinds of forms, either beastlike, bipedal, or formless. Their commoners were Lesser-elementals while their elite didn't label themselves with the `lesser` prefix.

nIt was also said that the nobles were known as Greater elementals and their cream of the crop was the royalty that went by the name, Mystic elementals.

nIncreasing their population by creating an elemental seed within their cores took dozens of years, even with the help of a partner.

nMeanwhile, the growing process was also said to be arduous and even dangerous!

nEven though lesser elementals themselves were considered strong within the Basic dimension, when compared with other powerful races, they still had to look for ways to become stronger.

nThe biggest problem for them was that it took a longer period to increase their population compared to other races. This made it more difficult for them to increase the number of Primordial DImensions that they reigned in.

nThe most problematic fact for them, however, was that they required a high amount of elemental transmuted mana stones in order to accelerate the strengthening process.

nWith such elemental transmuted mana stones, they could increase their combat prowess and amplify the whole race's strength with a long-term investment.

nShane was not sure if many merchants knew about this but a few definitely knew it. These few merchants searched for elemental affinity mana stones, causing their price to increase by a large margin.

nThe same could be said for Shane's darkness transmuted mana stone. Its price had almost increased by one gold coin, even if it was very small in size.

nBut, there was something that these merchants probably missed out on. After combining the information available on the multiple threads together and a large amount of luck, Shane finally figured out a plan which he could use to become wealthy once again!!
