Chapter 331 Core Realm II

“Yawn.” Lei Lin yawned as he looked at Ling Yun. “Hey, Big Sis! It’s been five hours, but he still hasn’t formed any single core.”

Ling Xi could only sigh at that. “It seems that Ling Yun has a hard time forming those cores, and it may take him a long time to complete them.”

‘Yun’er! I hope you manage to complete them!’ Ling Ling muttered in her heart and clasped hands thighter.

Lian Bing hugged her and said softly. “Don’t worry, he will definitely manage to form them, but we may have to wait a little longer.”

“En.” Ling Ling simply nodded at her.

Xiao Xiao suddenly raised her eyebrows after she felt something from Ling Yun. ‘What kind of feeling is this? Why do I feel pressured by him?’

“Hey, Look!” Lei Lin exclaimed as she pointed at the red ball above Ling Yun’s head. “It seems he has almost succeeded in forming his fire core.”

“Yes.” They nodded in agreement with her.

Five hours later, the fire core had completely formed above Ling Yun’s head, but it did not immediately enter his body.

“This is insane! It took him ten hours to form his fire core, and he must still form eight more element cores!” Lei Lin said, slightly irritated. “Ouch!”

Ling Xi smacked her head and scolded her. “You know that forming a core is not easy, let alone he has to form so many cores, so it’s only natural that he spends a lot of time doing it. If you feel impatient to wait for him, I will let you out of this place, and you can train Ling Yin and the others.”

“Fine! Please let me out of this place, and I will train them.” Lei Lin said with a nod of approval; she felt tired of waiting for Ling Yun to take so long to form his cores, and she was more interested in training those junior cultivators.

Since Ling Xi gave it to Ling Yun, and their souls were also bound together, she could also open a portal to the Yin-Yang Chamber.

After Lei Lin left the place, Xiao Xiao asked her. “How long will it take him to finish forming them?”

“I can’t say for sure, and we can only wait patiently.” Ling Xi replied with a shake of her head.

.

.

“How is Yun’er progressing? Has he finished yet?” Yi Mingxia asked worriedly when Lei Lin appeared in front of her.

Lei Lin sighed and shook her head. “Ling Yun sure is a freak! However, he only managed to form his fire core after ten hours, and he still has to form the remaining eight, so I don’t know exactly when he will be finished.”

“I see.” Yi Mingxia nodded in understanding and only prayed in her heart that her son would succeed in forming his cores.

Lei Lin then turned to Sophie. “What is that angel doing in this house?”

Yi Mingxia immediately explained to her. “Michael sent her to meet Yun’er, and he wanted to talk to him, so I let her wait here.”

“I see.” Lei Lin nodded in understanding and turned around to meet Ling Yin, who was cultivating in her room.

*Tap… Tap…*

Yi Mingxia turned towards the sound of the footsteps and was surprised to see Ye Jing walking into the house together with Hua Yue, but she smiled upon seeing that they were as close as ever again. “I’m pleased you two are on good terms now.”

Hua Yue nodded to her. “Thank you, Aunt Mingxia.”

“After all, Yue is my twin sister, so I want to mend our relationship.” Ye Jing’s words made Hua Yue smile happily; she was also relieved to be able to mend their broken relationship after so many years. “Is Yun not done yet?”

“Not yet.” Yi Mingxia shook her head at her. “According to Lei Lin, he still needs a long time to finish.”

“I see.” Ye Jing nodded in understanding and pulled Hua Yue into her room. “We’ll go to my room first, Aunt Mingxia.”

Even though they were Ling Yun’s women, Ye Jing felt it inconvenient to address Yi Mingxia as a sister. After all, she was his biological mother, so she found it strange to call her that.

Yi Mingxia then sat beside Sophie and asked her. “Why don’t you invite Mariel to come here with you?”

“Hmm?” Sophie was surprised by her question, but she sighed and answered her. “I know that Mariel is in a relationship with Ling Yun, but she can’t show their relationship openly. If Michael and the other angels discover their relationship, they will severely punish her.”

“Oh?” Since Yi Mingxia was only a human, she didn’t know the laws of the angel realm, nor that many angels look down on humans. “I don’t know about anything related to your realm and people, but if they do something to Mariel just because of her relationship with him, then Yun’er won’t stay silent, and I dare say to you that my son will become the enemy of you angels.”

Upon hearing that, Sophie inwardly sighed heavily; she had witnessed some of Ling Yun’s actions before. Besides that, he also has so many powerful people by his side; if they become enemies of the angel realm, then she and her race will suffer.

Yi Mingxia then spoke again. “If you wish Yun’er to be willing to help you guys, then you should tell Michael about their relationship and persuade him to approve of their relationship. But if it were the other way around, you should already know the consequences, right?”

“Yes, I understand that,” Sophie answered with a nod of approval, and she immediately thought of a way to tell Michael about their relationship, especially since it was not something the angels would easily accept.

Yi Mingxia smiled, seeing Sophie’s reaction, and she then asked her. “How about you? Are you willing to accept Mariel’s relationship with my son?”

Sophie looked up at her. “Mariel is an old friend of mine; if she does fall for Ling Yun, I will support her decision.”

“That’s good.” Yi Mingxia nodded, satisfied with her answer, and she asked her again. “Have you never thought of forming a relationship with a human?”

“No.” Sophie firmly replied as she shook her head. Even though she didn’t look down on humans like most angels, she had never thought of having a relationship with a human and only thought of her duties as an angel.

“I see.” After that, Yi Mingxia didn’t ask any further questions but kept glancing at Sophie and wondering in her heart. ‘How can I change this woman’s mind? I want her to be Yun’er’s woman too.’

.

.

Meanwhile, Ling Xi and the others were still waiting patiently for Ling Yun, and they saw a clear blue sphere begin to form above his head.

“He wants to form his water core.” Ling Xi muttered to herself.

Lian Bing nodded in agreement. “It’s faster than the first.”

“Yes.” Xiao Xiao also agreed. “I think it will be fully formed soon enough.”

Ling Ling kept looking at her little brother fondly, and a proud smile appeared on her pretty face. “Yun’er is truly extraordinary! I believe he will surpass all cultivators in the cultivator realm in the future; even Xuanyuan Xue’er will not be able to match him.”

“You’re wrong about that, Ling’er.” Ling Xi said with a shake of her head. “Since Ling Yun has never told you all, I will tell you that his target is not the cultivator realm but the higher realm.”

“Huh?” The three women turned to her, they were shocked to hear that, especially since Ling Yun was still very weak, but he had already thought that far ahead.

Ling Xi chuckled upon seeing their reactions. “I know your thoughts, but if you pay attention recently, especially after Yun Mingyue’s death, Ling Yun has changed a lot, and he is getting increasingly serious about improving himself.”

“Well, that’s true.” Xiao Xiao could also see the change in Ling Yun, especially after their conversation at night a few days ago, and he became increasingly eager to improve himself.

Lian Bing also agreed with that, especially during the past week, she saw that Ling Yun was not only focused on dual cultivating with his women, but he was also constantly honing his techniques and fighting skills.

“Sister Xi, do you think Yun’er will join a sect in the cultivator realm in the future?” Ling Ling curiously asked.

Ling Xi didn’t immediately answer Ling Ling’s question; she thought it would be great if Ling Yun joined a sect. That way, he could get to know the real world of cultivation before they went to the higher realms, but then she shook her head. “I don’t know about that, and we can ask him later when he’s done.”

Minutes later, they saw that Ling Yun’s water core was fully formed, but it was floating above his head like his fire core.

Even so, Ling Yun showed no signs that he would soon form another element core. 𝚍n𝚘v𝚕.𝚝
