Chapter 57

nChu Xuning did not dare to answer Chi Yue’s question.
nActually, even if Chi Yue didn’t ask, he would have thought something was strange, too.
nThis was because Su Huiqing could always seem to accurately guess Chi Yue’s next move and action. Not to mention that she could always make the best judgment according to his commands in the shortest time possible.
nYu Xiangyang and the others were not familiar with doing such missions and thus, they naturally could not sense it. But Chu Xuning had cooperated with his men for so many years that he could sense Su Huiqing and Chi Yue’s cooperation was flawless despite having a handheld transceiver separating them.
nEspecially those last three words.
nChi Yue was not at the scene, so he could not witness her performance. If he had seen it, he would have been more surprised than he was.
nChu Xuning had gone on many missions and this was the first time someone could match up to Young Master Yu’s thought process.
nMuch to everyone’s unawareness, she even cooperated with Chi Yue very well.
nChu Xuning could not help but suspect that Su Huiqing must be a genius.
nAs he did not know how he would respond to Chi Yue, he quietly walked towards the tall and thin man to search his body.
nYu Shijin, who was standing on the side, slightly lowered his eyes before reaching out to press on his transceiver. In a calm tone of voice, he said, “A passerby. Do you have questions?”
nHis voice sounded as cold and attractive as ever.
nThe question at the end of his speech gave off an overbearing and strong vibe.
n“Not really. It was just that for a stranger to cooperate with me so well, they must have a talent in commanding.” Chi Yue slightly narrowed his eyes. “She is very gifted in this aspect.”
nHis tone could not hide his admiration for her.
nShe could actually decode the direction of the secret signal within a second and that, by the way, was the most basic requirement of every commander.
nIf it was in the past, he definitely would have asked that person to join his team.
nIt was a pity…
nHe raised his hand to type on his keyboard, unwilling to waste any more time. “Ok, continue going forward. Doctor Luxe’s laboratory is at the end of the middle pathway.”
nYu Shijin calmly replied with a hum before cutting the connection off.
nChi Yue’s voice drifted into everyone’s ears through the handheld transceiver.
nThe others did not know what a commander was and thus, did not understand Chi Yue’s words.
nHowever, Chu Xuning understood.
nIn International battlefields, there was a strict rule that commanders must have a reflex reaction of at least three times faster than that of a normal human being. As such, only one commander could be found in every ten thousand people.
nAnd only one outstanding leader would be found in every thousand commanders.
nWhile only one supreme commander would be found in every hundred outstanding leaders.
nThese supreme commanders have to go through large-scale missions and become recognized before they could receive such honor. However, Chu Xuning did not know what were the exact requirements to become one.
nBut what he knew was his Big Boss Yu was a supreme commander who everyone respected. His name alone was enough to cause shivers to run down one’s spine.
nHe was as good as that person from the International Association. Then again, the sky cannot have two suns.
nHence, when Chi Yue said that Su Huiqing was a born commander, Chu Xuning was very surprised.
nHe secretly took a glance at Su Huiqing.
nShe looked so innocent with that exquisite face of hers. She wore a laid back expression on her face while she slightly curled her lips up to form a casual smile.
nIt’s really hard to imagine that she was once known to be a good-for-nothing in Green City.
nChu Xuning retracted his gaze while secretly thinking her skills could almost match up to that of Young Master Yu.
nSuch thoughts only stayed in his mind for a few seconds. He quickly regained his composure and pointed to the tall and thin man on the floor before asking.
n“Young Master Yu, what should we do with him?”
nHe had searched the suspect for so long, but he found nothing but a timer.
nThe organization that came to catch Doctor Luxe was really cunning, especially that hacker of theirs. If it wasn’t for Chi Yue, the location of the base would have been leaked long ago. These people were too pervasive and were impossible to guard against. But then again, the tall, thin man was the only suspect they caught.
nYu Shijin lowered his eyes.
nHe fixed his gaze on the dismantled robot for a while before shifting it towards the tall, thin man.
nSince they sent him here to perish with them, they naturally would make sure not to leave any evidence behind.
nYu Shijin knew.
nHence, he was not surprised that Chu Xuning could find nothing on him.
nHe stuffed his hands into his pocket, his figure looking very slender. A faint hint of coldness could be seen in his eyes. He did not reply to Chu Xuning’s question and in an indifferent tone of voice, he said, “Pull his right sleeve up.”
nChu Xuning naturally did not doubt Yu Shijin’s commands and pulled the man’s sleeve up.
nHis arm did not look very different from that of a normal human being, so he really could not understand why Young Master Yu asked him to pull up his sleeve.
nHowever, he froze when he shifted his gaze upward and saw a tattoo near his shoulder.
nHe sucked in a breath of cold air.
nSu Huiqing walked towards Yu Xiangyang and the others. She placed her school bag on the robot arm and analyzed the structure of the base.
nShe suddenly heard Chu Xuning’s heavy breathing and slightly turned her head around to look at the man’s right arm.
nThere was an angel tattoo on the man’s bronze-colored arm.
nIt was an angel showing its side profile with its wings wide open.
nIt was black and looked strangely striking under the light.
nThere was even a scythe in the black angel’s hands.
nIt was a very realistic image.
nOne look at it and one could definitely feel the shivers.
n“A black angel tattoo?” Yu Xiangyang walked towards Chu Xuning and clicked his tongue. “What a personality he has.”
nChu Xuning almost tripped over himself. Indeed, those who followed weirdos like Su Huiqing were weirdos, too. It was fine if the current situation didn’t scare him, but he had the guts to comment on that man’s personality?!
nHe rolled his eyes.
nBlack angels were also known as fallen angels. Although they did not necessarily mean evil, it often meant misfortune.
nNot many would want to tattoo it on their arm.
nSu Huiqing tightened her grip on the strap of her school bag and narrowed her pitch-black eyes.
nHer entire vibe turned cold.
nShe could immediately tell with a glance that it definitely wasn’t a normal tattoo but the symbol of an organization.
nBlack angel.
nAlthough she was not sure when such a mysterious organization started appearing in the International arena, judging from the mini robot, explosives, and how easily they could enter this heavily guarded base, she could tell that this organization wasn’t an ordinary one.
nMost importantly, why would such an organization appear in such a small city like Green City?
nSu Huiqing shifted her gaze to Yu Shijin.
nIf she could analyze all of that in a second, Yu Shijin definitely could do it as well.
nBoth of them met each other’s eyes with Chu Xuning standing between them.
nTheir eyes were just as dark and calm.
nHowever, they quickly looked away from each other.
nYu Shijin lowered his eyes and walked forward. “Let’s take the left passageway. There should be another passageway which would lead to Doctor Luxe’s laboratory at the end of it.”
nThis was the first time he took on the commander role since he entered the base. His voice was not particularly loud, but he had purposely deepened his voice and thus, making it sound very powerful and deep.
nIf they had changed the environment, he could literally become a broadcaster at a broadcasting station.
nEven if he didn’t show his face to the public, his voice was enough to melt the hearts of many teenage girls.
nHe could even have a competition with Su Huiqing.
nHowever, since they were at the base, his voice sounded a little more indifferent than how it should be. With that being said, it still had a strong presence which one definitely could not ignore. Upon hearing Yu Shijin’s command, a chill ran down everybody’s spine and even Yu Xiangyang, the spiteful one in the group, could not help but follow his instructions.
nChu Xuning took a picture of the black angel tattoo and saved it as evidence. Before he left, he took another look at the mini robot which Su Huiqing destroyed.
nHe then realized that from the time they noticed the mini bomb to the time Su Huiqing came out with the dismantled robot…
nThe duration did not exceed twenty seconds.
nShe actually defused the bomb in twenty seconds.
nChu Xuning was in charge of military arms in his team, and he was very much aware that he would need at least five minutes to defuse the bomb.
nIt was impossible to defuse it in twenty seconds.
nHe stood up with his phone in his hands and looked at the lazy figure who was casually walking in front of him.
nHe took a deep breath.
nLuckily, this person was not an enemy but an ally.
n
