nLooking at this virtual interface notification again, Legolas felt his heart ache. The mere realization that he lost hundreds of thousands of experience points left him in agonizing pain in his heart.

n‘Man, my experience stockpile would have increased more’.

nIn recent months, he was no longer leveling up since the cost of leveling up grew even more outrageously after he became a Grade D superhuman.

nHe now needed hundreds of thousands of experience points for each level up, and was why he decided to stack up on his experience points.

nHe would only level up when he felt that he already had enough stockpile and leveling up could yield an actual increase to his strength.

nAbout the Grade C Mission, the Frost Wolf was just too strong.

nDespite integrating with Predator and giving his all in the previous battle, against a Grade C beast’s defense, his attacks barely made a dent on its hide.

nHe was only able to chip away a little more than 2% of its health despite how much he tried, and this was already due to his incredible strength.

nWithout the Clown’s arrival, Palm Island would have definitely fallen.

nLegolas felt it was funny. ‘Now, the villain is the hero who saved us’.

nHe was glad though, so long as the end needs were met, Legolas did not give a damn how or who made it possible for it to happen.

nChristensen’s decision to go after the Shadow Hound was not wrong in his opinion, if he was in his student’s position, he would have taken the same decision. This did not mean that the decision didn’t have its consequences though.

nLegolas dreaded the aftermath if Palm Island would have fallen.

nThough Christensen’s super way was to exceed him in strength, if his ancestral home was destroyed due to his decisions, he dared not think of the adverse effects that it would have on his student’s growth.

n‘I already invested so much in him, I can’t let him fall, definitely not’.

nIt was already more than an hour since they returned from the grey world, he spent the time recovering his summoner energy while Christensen continued blabbering on, showing how excited he was about joining a secret organization.

n“Master, what is our goal again?”

n“The current goal of the Hermit gathering is to bring an end to the ongoing revolution of the Clown Society that has the potential to destroy this planet”.

n“Damn, that sounds so cool”. Christensen rubbed his arms excitedly. “I still can’t believe that you’re a close aide of the almighty Hermit”.

n“Though I know it’s normal, after all you’re my master”. Christensen winked and laughed. “But…, I don’t know, it feels weird but it kinda makes me feel proud all of a sudden”.

nLegolas wacked him on the head. “Get ready, we’ll be leaving soon”.

n“Yes master!” Christensen jumped up but he started talking again. “You know, I can’t forget the Hermit’s deep sage voice when he assigned you with the mission to go rescue the Emperor”.

nChristensen mimicked the Hermit’s voice. “The World will come to assist you, with my help, he will succeed and the Titans will be stopped”.

nThen he jumped. “That sounded so badass man, I had goosebumps”.

nWhoosh!

nExpecting it this time, Christensen dodged his master’s hand as he laughed. “You know, I’m already wondering about what the Hermit looks like beyond that thick mist, do you think he’s a scary monster?”

n“You talk too much”.

n“I talk a lot when I’m excited…”

nChristensen was cut off as Legolas dragged him through the rainbow bridge.

nAbout a second later, they arrived in the beast plane.

nOn arriving, Legolas saw the foxes in a round circle engaging in what seemed like a strategy meeting as Commander Redmane addressed the others.

n“…” Legolas was left speechless at the comical sight.

nAs soon as she saw him, Lucky jumped up excitedly which was a rare sight, causing Legolas to raise his eyebrows as he walked closer.

n“Legolas, you’ll be following us hunting today”.

n“Huh?” Legolas was surprised. “I didn’t bargain for this”.

n“No excuses”. Lucky was firm. “You need to see the strength of Lucky’s society, our unique powers and Redmane’s commanding prowess”.

nAll Lucky’s points flew right through Legolas’s ears except the last one as he smiled. “If you insist, I guess I’ll see you guys in action then”.

n“Yay!” Lucky jumped.

nLegolas was surprised again. ‘Is it only me or is Lucky becoming even more cheerful since our reunion?” He rubbed his chin in thought.

nLegolas kept his mouth sealed as he followed the foxes out after ordering Christensen to accompany all the other beasts who were content with taking a nap.

nWell, after a 6-hour hunt tour, Legolas only had a few sentences to describe what he saw. “Winter is a beast”.

n“Kalsang is slippery as f*ck”.

n“Hunter is a freaking hunter, the boy’s too good to be true”.

n“Vixen is well, the girl if is a f*cking vixen”.𝗈𝐕𝓛xt.𝓒𝚘𝓂

n“Biscuit is a clown”.

n“Zorro is a freaking monster”.

n“Redmane is a freak”.

n“Lucky’s Society is so f*cking badass”.

nFor the first time in a long time, Legolas was forced to look above all of Lucky’s annoying moments and sincerely love his pet. “Lucky is amazing”.

nThe hunting session was brought to an end on his command, after spending more than enough time training Christensen and getting dragged into different battles, he was now ready to go to the desert.

nAfter he made his intention known, his beasts made their choices.

nLucky decided to stay in the beast plane and continue honing her abilities alongside her society friends, she would be available on his summons though.

nThough he could not summon her like his contracted beasts, through their telepathic connection, he could locate where she was in the beast plane and open a bridge directly to her location to go get her.

nAs for Predator, having spent more than enough time on the beast plane already, this beast already missed his master and refused to leave.

nPredator insisted on following him to Planet Darvis.

nAkela, like the usual humble and loyal companion that he was decided to follow any orders that he gave. In the end, Legolas decided to leave him in the beast plane with the wolves to continue expanding the wolf pack.

nAfter different battles in the beast plane, some of the Grade F wolves already died and were replaced by others but they were not to his satisfaction yet.

nAkela was still the only Grade D wolf in the pack and Warg was also still the only Grade E wolf in the pack, Akela had work to do to strengthen the pack.

nAfter settling things with his beasts, Legolas turned to face his student.

nLeo’s choice was easy, he was following his master. As for Brutus, this came the awkward part as master and beast just kept on looking at each other.

nBrutus looked at Christensen with an uninterested look on his doggy face.

nLegolas coughed and interrupted. “Ahem, I think I know the perfect remedy to this situation, I think Brutus should stay in the beast plane”.

n“He should accompany Lucky’s group and be their scout”.

n“Oh, if you say so”. Christensen easily agreed.

nLegolas smiled as he turned to look at the nonchalant Shadow Hound. ‘I can’t wait to see how you’ll fare alongside Lucky, 2 egoistical fellows’.

n‘This is going to be a clash of egos man!’

n‘I can’t wait’. Legolas was excited.

nWith that, everything was settled and he left the beast plane.
