Chapter 122 Escape! [1]

n“On me!”

nNone of the tribe warriors dared disobey as they all went behind Legolas. Having seen his ability already, not even Aegon doubted him.

nAs they rallied around him, all the Foxes rallied behind Redmane with Lucky who was their leader comfortably in the middle of their formation.

nThey already received Legolas’s orders, Legolas’s order was that they needed to escape and that was exactly what Redmane aimed to achieve.

nRedmane as the Army Commander communicated with the others.

nJust like Lucky, all of them except Zorro could communicate in the normal tongue and Redmane commanded them with the normal tongue.

n“Winter, ice domain!”

n“I can’t use my ice powers here”.

n“Then, weather manipulation and temperature regulation”.

nThe Arctic Fox went to work fulfilling the orders instantly.

n“Kalsang, dust and sand manipulation to hinder sight, you will be our eyes in this mission”.

nThe huge Tibetan Fox acknowledged the orders.

n“Hunter, be our ranger”.

n“Vixen, create an illusion to heighten the effects of impaired sight for the enemies, make sure that they are completely blind”.

n“Biscuit, their major weakness is their residual soul energy that is crystallized in their head, you know what to do”.

n“Aye, Commander”.

n“Lucky, we need your luck”.

n“You got it”. Legolas saw a rare serious look on Lucky’s face.

nRedmane finally turned to the last Fox.

n“Zorro, charge!”

n“Roar!”

nThe Giant Hoary Fox roared and howled loudly before leading the charge straight towards the thick glass wall that was erected by the Black Master.

nThe remaining Foxes charged directly behind the leading Zorro.

nFor the first time, Legolas saw Redmane put all the drills and training that he put the Lucky Society members to into action in a real battle.

nWhoosh!

nThey barely moved before dust and sand started rising in the air rapidly.

nIn less than a second, the dust got so thick that visibility was impaired to an all-time low. It was impossible to even see your hand in the thick dust not to talk of seeing the enemy that was on your front.

nWinter could not use her ice powers, but she could manipulate temperature and weather. The temperature started growing cold slowly as a sandstorm picked up nearby, ravaging through the ranks of the undead Titans.

n“3 Titans in your front”. Kalsang directed Zorro who led the charge.

n“Roar!”

nThe powerful Fox only needed to charge through them with much more force to break all their bones, crippling the powerful and gigantic Civilian Titans.

nInstantly after the Foxes charged, Legolas followed them as all the tribe warriors also stuck close to him.

nBefore going to the beast plane to call the Foxes, he already deactivated his beast integration ability and hence the Void Raven was free in the air.

nAs soon as the dust rose, hindering vision, Legolas sought help.

n“Raven bro, I need your help”.

nKalsang was the eye of the Fox group, while the Void Raven became Legolas’s eyes through which he led the tribe warriors through the chaos.

nImpaired vision disrupted the Titans so much that they became disorganized.

nEven the threat of the Warrior Titans became nonexistent since they could no longer see their opponents, they could only attack randomly.

nAnd in random circumstances, the Foxes were at a ridiculous advantage since Lucky was in their midst. Lucky’s luck glow was a cheat, the passive ability increased their luck to such incredible levels that everything worked for them.

nEvery probability related event worked in their favor.

nThe Titans’ random attacks mostly hit themselves, more than often, they tripped as they stepped on each other, it was pure chaos.

nAs for the Foxes, pure order was maintained due to Lucky’s luck, Kalsang’s desert sight, and Redmane’s leadership. It was the perfect synergy.

nUnder Kalsang’s guidance, Zorro charged through the chaotic blockade of the horde of Titans until he finally collided against the thick glass wall.𝗈𝑣𝗅𝒩xt.𝗇𝓔t

nBOOM!

nThe sound was like exploding dominoes as soon as the mighty Giant Hoary Fox collided against the reinforced glass wall but he bounced back.

nRedmane arrived right in time to give new orders.

n“Use your strongest abilities to hit the wall”.

n“Aye, Commander”.

nAll the Foxes released their strongest attacks in a frenzy.

n“Attack!”

nThrough their telepathic relationship, Legolas received feedback from the Void Raven about what happened and also ordered the warriors to attack.

nBam! Bam! Bam!

nAll their attacks combined together created an incredible force, the glass wall cracked but shockingly, it repaired itself in mere seconds.

nAs for Black Master Einstein, despite how much he tried, he could not leave that battlefield to support the Titans since Knock held him in a tight battle.

nThe Foxes and warriors attacked the wall again to no avail. It cracked but it repaired itself again, it felt like it was indestructible.

nAs soon as he received the feedback from the Void Raven, Legolas knew what was happening. ‘He is actively reinforcing the glass wall’.

n‘He is the key to escape’.

nLegolas deduced that the Black Master was the key to escape, the only problem was that he was not powerful enough to injure him.

nWhile the Foxes and warriors kept on hauling attacks at the glass wall, Legolas’ brain entered overdrive, thinking rapidly until he got it.

n“Christensen, the G-96 pistols”.

nAlso embroiled in the battle against the Titans while attacking the wall on top Leo, Christensen did not understand why but having stayed with his master for long, he learned not to ask why as he threw the pistols without hesitation.

nAs soon as Legolas grabbed the pistols, he jumped up and aimed.

n—–

nPassive ability has been triggered: Marksman

n…

nSpecial bullets detected: Chaotic Mana Bullets

n—-

nBam! Bam! Bam!

nThe special bullets flew out of the muzzles of the automatic pistols.

nLegolas did not aim at the Black Master neither did he aim at the Titans, he instead aimed at the 5-meter tall machine that kept on digging into the ground.

nAs soon as Black Master Einstein noticed it, he was alarmed as he left his defense in pursuit of the bullets, allowing Knock to injure him.

nHe was too late though; the bullets’ accuracy was insane as they went through all the tiny gaps straight at where the rainbow light glowed from underneath the machine. The bullets hit their target.

nBoom!

nWith that booming sound, the energy of the machine instantly became unstable as all 3 red masters inside it that operated it were fried to death.

nBlack Master Einstein arrived just in time to prevent the machine from exploding from the chaotic mana from the 3 Titan champions caused by the chaotic mana bullets as he forcibly stabilized the reaction with his powerful energy.

nHim exerting so much effort into keeping the machine stable brought the defense of the glass wall to an all-time low.

nCrack!

nThe glass wall shattered.

nWith the glass shattering, the survivors of the Vanguard Squad alongside the Fox squad were able to finally escape outside the Ancient Titan palace.

n“Split up!” Legolas roared.

n“That is our best chance of escaping”.

nThe group divided into 3 sides.

nLegolas led one group as 8 tribe warriors and his student followed him, Captain Aegon led another one as 5 tribe warriors followed him, while the last group followed Kamnak, Knock’s younger brother and the Kong champion.

nWith Black Master Einstein preoccupied, Knock had the freedom to go on a rampage across the formation of the Titans as he slaughtered them.

n5 minutes later, Black Master Einstein finally stabilized the machine.

nHe turned to glare at Knock who was still slaughtering the Titans.

n“Your decision shall lead to your death boy!”

nThis time, already angered, Black Master Einstein did not hold back as he gave his all into beating this Gorilla. After 4 minutes of intense battle, Knock laid on the palace ground in a pool of his own blood.

nInstead of despairing though, he smiled still in his Gorilla form.

n“I cannot lose to Drog”.

n“For our families…” He died.
