nMinutes ago, shortly after Core Protector Shanks left…

nInstantly after the Core Protector left, more than 10 Space-time stabilizers were dispatched into the air as they instantly took effect.

nLike in almost every other lawful organization on the planet, the Clown Society also had sleeping agents in the Core Protection Alliance.

nThe Clown Society had such a long time to finetune and perfect their plan that when the time came to enact the plan, everything flowed smoothly.

nInstantly after these mechanical devices triggered, the Space-time in the air became so solidified that teleportation became impossible.

nNot everywhere was affected by this phenomenon though.

nBy deploying 12 Space-time stabilizers in strategic positions, a pocket of space at the furthermost corner of the Core Protection Alliance was left untouched.

nThis was where the invasion party entered the atmosphere.

nBzzz!

nFor a brief moment, it felt like aliens were invading from outside the planet.

nThe first party that moved through the sole teleportation portal that opened was a Lich with a flaming skull. As soon as Daemon passed through the portal and looked at his surroundings, this Necromancer cackled maniacally.

n“Go on my servants…”

n“Let these men witness the power of death…”

n“All men shall die!”

n“Hahaha…!”

nAmid his cackles and crazy laughter, an army of undead skeletons started charging into the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance.

nApart from the normal skeleton warriors, archers, knights, and Giants, there was an additional canon-fodder army of Zombies of varying heights and strengths.

nThe might of a zombie depended on how strong the recipient was when he was still alive. Though most of them were weak and only good for cannon fodder, there were enough of them that some elites were among them.

nDaemon’s Named Skeletons led the charge from the front.

nThis was Daemon’s advantage, despite being a relatively new Grade C Superhuman, his undead army made him so strong. By relying on so many creatures in battle, his strength could not be easily quantified.

nAnd he was already playing a great part in the Clown Society’s success. Due to his undead army, they didn’t need to expend as much psychopaths to get their plans executed, Daemon alone had a bigger army.

nAs soon as his Bone Dragon arrived through the portal, this Necromancer no longer stayed idle. With a loud shriek, the Bone Dragon took into the skies with his master riding it as it breath frost mixed with undead energy at the defenders.𝒐𝐕𝑙xt.𝗰𝚘𝑀

nThe warriors of the Core Protection Alliance were briefly stunned.

nMost of them were still relishing in the moment of one of their Core Protectors leaving when everything changed so fast. The change was so abrupt that it took them time to react, but they were still able to react.

nThe regional Commanders reacted fast, the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance was the most well-protected base in the whole planet.

n“Energy Shields, up!”

n“Archers, attack!”

n“Warriors, stand your ground!”

nArchers didn’t just refer to superhumans who had an affinity with marksmanship, those that wielded firearms also reared their firepower against the massive undead army as they unleashed their loads on them.

nBam! Bam! Bam!

nWhile the ranged combatants attacked, different energy shields rose up as they slowly formed an all-encompassing shield around the base.

nBefore the shield could completely form, the Bone Dragon attacked.

nThis time, the Dragon spat out such a concentrated frost breath that it seemed to turn into a frost beam fueled by otherworldly energy. While this energy rapidly slammed towards the shield, the existence inside was finally drawn out.

nCore Protector Levi took action!

nAs soon as this powerful Fire Elementalist took action, the temperature in the atmosphere rapidly rose to ridiculous levels.

n“Special Elementalist Ability: 9-Lives Fiery Shield!”

nBOOM!

nThe Bone Dragon’s frost beam slammed against the gigantic fiery shield that appeared and both sides simply cancelled each other out.

nCore Protector Levi did not stop there though, despite the short time, he already understood the plans of the enemies and their motive.

nHe was not about to let them have their way.

n“Special Elementalist Ability: Rocket Speed!”

n“Levi Specialty: Fiery Sword of Damocles!”

nWhoosh!

nCore Protector Levi moved through the air like a rocket as fire sprouted out from his legs. Daemon and his Bone Dragon could not dodge, this powerful old Elementalist cornered him before slamming the Dragon with the flaming sword.

n“Screech…!”

nThe Bone Dragon shrieked loudly as its right wing was cut to pieces.

nThe loud shriek of the Dragon coincided with the time when the teleportation portal flickered again. This time, no ordinary warrior passed through, the leaders of the Clown Society passed through.

nInstantly after Clown passed through, his eyes surveyed his surroundings.

nThe battlefield was easily pictured in his head.

nHe instantly improvised his plan. “We’re going in fast!”

n“Din, join Daemon and take care of the Core Protector”.

n“Einstein, follow me”.

nWhoosh!

nCore Protector Levi barely detected the presence of the new Grade C Superhumans when Craxes turned towards him and breath extremely hot fire.

nUnlike other Superhumans, Core Protector Levi was not as afraid of fire. He did not dodge and simply bathed in the fire, he came out with minimal injuries as with fiery eyes, he clashed against the mighty Red Dragon.

nBam! Bam! Bam!

nFor the next few seconds, Core Protector Levi held his own against these 2 new Grade C superhumans who due to special circumstances were stronger than normal. Daemon and Din gave him more than enough challenge.

nWith him tied down, Clown and Black Master Einstein were unleashed.

nThese 2 Grade C Sage Elementalists wreaked havoc.

nBoom! Boom! Boom!

nTheir intention was to break in fast and get what they came for.

n“Sage Elementalist Ability: Whirlwind of Fire and Sand!”

n“Sage Elementalist Ability: Wildfire Combustion!”

nUnder the barrage of Sage Elemental abilities, the defense of the shields wore down fast. The attack intensity was too high, the defense did not last any longer before they popped like balloons before the 2 Elementalists.

nWithout hesitation, they dove in only to meet more resistance.

nThe headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance enjoyed protection.

nAs soon as a hostile presence was detected, a mighty psionic energy spread through this territory as hidden weapons were activated. Instantly, from different corners of this territory, hidden weapons popped out.

nTurrets, kinetic projectiles, artillery weapons, they all popped out.

nOn seeing these alien machinery, Clown’s eyes lit up, he detected traces of someone close to him from their construction. “Master…”

nHe detected traces of his master in these weapons, apart from himself, his master was the only person who had the proficiency to deal with alien tech like this. He did not despair though, he was only left excited.

nThese weapons did not hesitate after locking on the intruders, they unleashed their loads as the cacophonic sounds of different rounds filled the air.

nThe 2 Elementalists received a lot of punishment but Clown released another of his trump cards, his Bio-Mechanic beasts were unleashed!

nAs the mechanic beasts clashed with the mechanical weapons, they were able to get enough time to breach into the core of this headquarters.

nThe attack started at a fast pace and continued like that till now.

nTheir efforts paid off, they were already in.

nClown set his eyes on the gigantic mechanical structure.
