nAt this moment, Clown’s aura was just a fraction away from probably that mythical rank of the Grade B realm. At this moment, Newton felt that his student was so close that he probably needed half a step to cross the gate.

nDespite Clown’s crazy laughter and declarations, Newton was calm as he looked at his student. He knew that at this moment Norman was powerful.

nAfter being pressured into making the decision by Jon Stones and Core Protector Shanks, the first thing that Newton did was to prepare.

nAs an Elementalist and a Great Scientist, he was used to using his head, this was what distinguished him from Jon Stones.

nKnowing of the achievements of his student, he dared not underestimate Norman and was why he came with the full culmination of his research and progress for the full centuries of his life.

nNorman was not the only Scientist who was diligent in his experiments.

nFor this eventual battle, Newton Barnes was going all out.

nNewton was the only Elementalist in Planet Darvis to master 3 Elemental Affinities, the elements of Fire, Light, and Shadows.

nThough Light and Shadow were simply variants of the main Elements, after centuries of research, Newton already mastered them to a ridiculous level.

nAfter refining his chemical abilities for centuries, he already deviated from what most Superhumans called basic Elementalists. His battle style was now so chemical-related that it was better to call him a Chemical Elementalist.

nTo Newton, battles were simply like a mathematical equation.

nThe battle process was the process of proving the equation.

nTo him, everything was ok so long as he followed all the rules to prove this specific equation. If he followed them accurately, he would emerge victorious.

nAs soon as Newton accessed his storage ring, the battle began.

n“Chemical Ability: Potential Inducement!”

nThe 2 chemicals that Newton ingested were called the Strength Affinity and Power Growth chemical potions. As soon as he ingested them and activated this chemical ability of his, a volatile chemical reaction took place inside his body.

nOriginally, the human body of a Grade C Superhuman could only carry energy to a certain point. To break this limit, there needed to be sacrifices.

nNorman made these sacrifices by sacrificing his human body for power.

nNewton’s much more refined sacrifice was turning his internal body into a Giant chemical processor. Through the volatile chemical reaction that took place in his body, for a short period of time, this Elementalist gained Strength affinity.

nNot just that, Newton’s power also experienced a meteoric growth.

nBOOM!

nEven as his power and Elementalist energy now blasted out with force, Newton accessed his storage ring again as 3 more chemicals appeared.

nAll 3 chemicals were in small bottles and one of the bottles seemed to be on Fire, this was the Fire Chemical. The other seemed to contain a Firefly inside it as bright light shone from it, while the last one was filled with shadows.

nInstantly after the chemicals appeared, Legolas’s interface lit up.

nEven without waiting for the reactions of the other Grade C Superhumans, he directly grabbed his student before rapidly retreating.

nThe other Grade C Superhumans returned to their senses as they rapidly retreated just in time for Newton to smash all 3 chemicals on the ground.

nThe powerful field that appeared seemed ethereal and not anchored in reality but this was not correct, the unfortunate Grade C Superhumans who could not escape from its range on time were drawn into their effects.

n“Ahhh…!” These warriors roared in pain as the fire ate through their flesh.

nBlinded in darkness already, they suffered.

nClearly, Newton Barnes did not see them as allies but rather as neutrals.

nThey were not the only one that were caught in the center of this explosion of chemicals, Clown was also caught in it as his vision went haywire.

nNewton finally spoke. “This is the culmination of my research…”

n“Chemical Boundaries, there’s few powers like them”.

n“Today, you shall be the first to taste their powers and efficacy”.

nNewton no longer waited; he started his offensive.

n“Sage Elementalist Ability: Fire and Light; Meteorite Smash!”

nWhoosh!

nInstantly, Newton’s white lab coat was incinerated to reveal his brown combat armor that was underneath as this warrior launched into the skies.

nWith a clenched fist, the lethal energies of fire and light converged on his fists to form a mini-meteorite. Clown could only feel the danger, he did not know where it was coming from, he was blind and he was hit.

nBOOM!

n“Ugh…!” Clown coughed blood.

nNewton continued. “Today, I shall teach you what I failed to do years ago”.

n“Today, I shall discipline you”.

n“I shall teach you what it means to show restraints as a scientist”.

n“And I shall teach you to always respect your master and your seniors”.

n“Sage Elementalist Ability: Hail of Wind and Light!”

n“Sage Elementalist Ability: Crouching Tiger; Hidden Dragon!”

nStill trapped inside the Chemical boundaries, Clown felt his danger senses tingle but he was still trapped by his master. The attacks hit him with pure venom.

nA hail of light and fire came from the skies first, concentrating their lethal downpour on him as this warrior felt like he was being roasted in a fiery oven.

nThe Dragon of the West ability formed what seemed like a literal Dragon of Fire and Light. This Dragon swallowed Clown as he felt like he entered the belly of a furnace, despite his Fire resistance, he was scorched and damaged.

nThe Light Affinity damage was especially lethal against his Giant Runes.

nThe Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was even more lethal, this was one of the few extremely dangerous assassination abilities that Newton had.

nLike a Crouching Tiger hidden in the dark, he roused his Shadow Affinity to attack Clown from an unexpected angle. The damage of the Shadow attack was negligible, what was most important was that it weakened Clown’s defense.

nWith his defense weakened, the Hidden Dragon struck!

nBOOM!

nClown was drenched in a fiery disaster!

nThe Chemical Saturation increased the efficacy of the Chemical Boundaries, the Flame Boundary was literally already burning Clown’s soul from within.

nAs for the last Sage Elementalist Ability, Cataclysm, this was one of those extremely rare abilities that incorporated all of Newton’s 3 Affinities.

nBy combining Shadow, Light, and Fire to such a fearsome degree that it seemed to form a singularity in the air, Newton unleashed the ultimate attack that devoured the natural forces of the universe in its path as it moved.

nClown felt danger unlike ever before.

n‘Break for me!’ This warrior screamed in his mind as his sense of danger and urgency increased by every millisecond.

n‘Break for me!’ His willpower was being strained to the limits.

n‘Break for me!’

n“BREAK FOR ME!”

nCrack!

nClown finally broke the effects of the Shadow Boundary by force though partially. As soon as he partially regained his vision, he saw the powerful attack that was coming directly from his front intent on tearing him apart.

nHe ignored his current pain as his eyes narrowed dangerously.

n“Clown Specialty: Psionic Energy Recycling!”

n“Clown Specialty: Core Energy Control!”

n“Clown Specialty: Energy Conversion and Combination!”

n“Clown Specialty: POWER BLAST!”
