nImmediately after the swearing-in ceremony a day ago that also captivated the attention of the players, like expected, the inevitable happened.

nAfter a rollercoaster ride of a 1st Version in Dominator that already broke countless records among the VR game community, it finally came to an end.𝚘𝒱𝓁xt.𝗇𝓔t

nTo most players, since becoming exposed to the fantastical world of Dominator, their time spent in the game was even more than time spent in reality, this was how addictive Dominator grew to become among gaming fans.

nThe only reason that stopped it from becoming addictive as drugs was the deliberate restrictions that the game developers put in place to prevent this.

nAfter a wonderful Version 1, most players had different reactions to it.

nAfter such a long time since their first day meeting in-game, Blue River, Ghost Sentry, and Horny Assassin were seated together again in the in-game guild headquarters of the Blue Brook Guild.

nVersion 1 changed these 3 players a lot. Blue River remained the guild leader of the Blue Brook Guild, but Ghost Sentry and Horny Assassin changed a lot.

nAfter his powerful display in the Dominator Tournament, Horny Assassin already established a place for himself among the elite players of the Blue Brook Guild. There were even rumors that the Sword God was thinking of recruiting him.

nDespite being knocked out in the quarterfinals, a run so deep was already crazy for a player like him that was tipped to not go far.

nThough Horny Assassin didn’t care as much about becoming a pro player, if the invitation from the Sword God did came, he would grab it with gusto.

n‘There’d be so many experts to fight against in the pro scene!’

nAs for Ghost Sentry, his growth was even more ridiculous. Unlike the much more casual Horny Assassin, he started Dominator as a player with a dream, now he already fulfilled all his dreams.

nHe not only became a starting line-up pro player in a club as famous as Blue Autumn, he also became a famous pro player already after his performance for his team and most especially his performance in the individual tournament.

nIt was a pity that the Blue Autumn team didn’t make it to the finals of the first National Dominator team tournament, but it didn’t affect him much.

nMaking it to the semifinals was already a mouthful of fame to a newbie like him, but the real cherry on top his cherry was his iconic individual tournament run.

nAs the winner of the individual tournament, his name was already immortalized in Version 1. Whenever Version 1 was thought of, they would always associate it to him, this was how famous he was now.

n“Keep working hard”. Blue River suddenly said.

nThey both turned to look at him.

nBlue River had a complicated look on his face as he looked at them.

n“Then when I first met the both of you, I was attracted mainly because of the special NPC, I never expected to detect hidden gems like the both of you”.

n“I am not as talented as you so I’m not as obsessed with improving but the both of you”. Blur River sighed. “You both have a lot of potential; I really wish you don’t get distracted and actually fulfill that potential”.

n“I can’t wait for the day that you both become superstars of the Blue Autumn team”. His eyes became dreamy. “And from what I heard; the International tournaments shall start in the next version”.

nA sheepish expression crept up his face. “You winning it for us will be a great cap to my long career as guild leader”.

n“I will be remembered as the one who scouted the legends, hahaha”.

n“I will be glad”. Blue River chuckled.

nHorny Assassin and Ghost Sentry laughed.

nAll of a sudden, Ghost Sentry asked a question. “Do you guys have any idea what the theme of the next version would be?”

nBlue River rubbed his chin. “I’m not sure but judging from the first limited trailer, I guess it has something to do with space travel”.

n“It’s kinda crazy how Dominator seems intent on introducing sci-fi elements, I already suspected it before but still it’s crazy”. Horny Assassin sounded excited. “I’ve always wanted to leave my planet and travel through space”.

n“Since I can’t do it back on Earth, perhaps experiencing it here is all the same”. The others laughed to that.

nAfter a few more idle talk, the time finally came for them to leave.

n“Till Version 2”. They waved each other their goodbyes.

nPlanet Darvis, in a remote mountain range…

nPlanet Darvis may be a planet that didn’t really take the mechanic route development due to the lack of mechanic class knowledges, but this did not change the fact that technology still found a loophole to thrive.

nThe Mercenary Online Organization was the true pioneer of technology.

nThey were not as proficient as the weakest Grade E Mechanic, but with the little knowledge that they had, they were able to work with it.

nOver the years, the mercenaries had come into contact with different minerals exhibiting special qualities.

nThey had also come into contact with Arcanite metal before but due to their lacking means, they were unable to detect its real value until the battle of Hellfire Mountains and Alexander’s shocking reveal.

nInstantly after the conclusion of the battle of Hellfire Mountains, Core Protector Shanks now President Shanks led the way with them following as they made it a priority to detect the location of veins of the so-called Arcanite metal.

nLike they suspected, it was close to Hellfire Mountains, this remote mountain range was one of the few mountain ranges that surrounded the previous headquarters of the Clown Society.

nInstantly after they discovered it, Shanks left the Mercenary Online Organization in charge of mining it. Now that he finally became President, he took it a step further as he commissioned the construction of a mining base.

nPresident Shanks did not just want to mine this metal, he wanted scientists to study and know it’s properties, he had a hunch that it would play an indispensable role in their quest to resist the coming cataclysm.

nWith the amount of funding that the President pumped into this endeavor, it only took a week to complete the construction of the mining base.

nNow, mining operations were in full swing.

nUnknown to the enthusiastic workers who were working in this base, mostly comprised of Earth Elementalists and Summoners, an automatic Rifle was aimed at them as it’s user watched everything that happened through the Rifle’s lens.

nCrow scowled. “We found it first but we have no choice”.

n“Right now, we don’t have the power to fight them”.

nHe turned to look at his leader. “What should we do?”

nThe leader of the 6 Ninja Assassins, Buffalo had an impassive expression on his face, he soon inclined his face away from his Rifle’s lens.

n“We do nothing”.

nHe turned to face Crow. “Like you said, we don’t have the power to fight them so all we can do is tell the leader”.

n“Ok”.

nWith that, the 2 elite assassins disappeared as silently as they came.
