nAt this moment, he was still deep infiltrating the base of the Nak Navy in Planet Darvis. He felt like a sheep in a den of wolves, everywhere around him, he could only see NPCs with red names, indicating hostility.

nAfter putting in effort for days, his effort paid off and he ended up being the only player who infiltrated deep enough to accomplish this mission.

nDespite accomplishing the mission already, Raining Sword did not leave the base of the Nak Navy. Before the launch of Version 2, alongside his teammates, they already spent tons of hours researching the game direction.

nThese were all in preparations for their revenge against the Fish Trout Team.

nAfter much research, they arrived at some conclusions and seeing everything that happened, he referenced some of these conclusions.

n‘If I am not wrong, staying here may help massively in the war efforts’.

n‘I may get far more rewards staying here than engaging actively in the war’.

n‘Besides’. He had one doubt. ‘Version 2 only started a few days ago, if the Cataclysm starts now, is it not just too early?’

nHe felt baffled, such a crazy pace was not characteristic of VR games, it would be far too rushed and would not let the players fully enjoy the allure of the game.

nDespite his doubts though, this did not make him break character as he remained infiltrating till 5 days finally passed.

nOn that fateful day, as the tension reached it’s peak, he was there as the first Battleship made its appearance from space, he held his breath.

nCaptain Lee was standing at the strategy room of this war fortress. With his Elementalist staff, powerful elemental energy radiated around this powerhouse as his brain became psyched for war.

nHis subordinates stood behind him, waiting for the inevitable arrival.

nBoom!

nThe first Spaceship finally infiltrated Planet Darvis’s atmosphere.

nCaptain Lee’s eyes gleamed. “They are here”.

nHeadquarters of the Core Protection Alliance…

nCore Protector Daemon had a cold look on his face as he looked at the energy readings of the alien machines and radar sensors that focused on space outside the Planet’s atmosphere.

nHis eyes narrowed. ‘It is exactly as Legolas indicated’.

n‘This boy…, does he really have prophetic abilities?’

nIt was exactly the time that Legolas indicated that they came.

nDespite his doubts, he had no choice but to respect Legolas’ opinion. A few days ago, when Legolas informed them all about the day and time of the Nak invasion, they were shocked but his track record forced them to believe him.

nNow, Legolas’ words proved to be true again.

nAll the energy detectors of the Core Protection Alliance blasted out alarms.

nWom! Wom! Wom!

nWarning! Multiple Battle-ship grade power reactors detected!

nWarning! Multiple thick metal objects approaching atmosphere!

nTriggering emergency response…, please wait…

nThe emergency response was automatic, and it involved sending prompts to the different branches of power leading from the President down to the least that were already informed about the day and time of the invasion ahead of time.

nInstantly after the prompt was sent, they reacted.

nIn the Presidential Villa, President Shanks gave the order as the gigantic Presidential Villa caved in the next moment, enabling an even more massive dome-shaped metal armor to emerge and engulf the full structure.

nIn no time, the Presidential Villa turned into a dome-shaped war fortress. The armor was not all, war turrets emerged from every available space around this war fortress as well-trained warriors manned them.

nThe muzzles of all the war turrets were focused at the skies.

nThis reaction didn’t just come from the Presidential Villa, similar reactions were also detected in the headquarters of the Nightmare Army, the Elementalist Academy, and other major organizations in Planet Darvis.

nThe reactions also extended to the citizens. Even as fast-response troops from the Nightmare Army flooded the streets, the civilians reacted appropriately as they were evacuated to the prepared shelters.

nThese reactions were instantaneous across the whole of Planet Darvis. This showed an uncanny unity that was not found in the Planet 5 years ago.

nIn just a few minutes, Planet Darvis fully entered war mode!

nBOOM!

nThis was when the sonic boom finally reverberated across the skies as the forward hull of the Golden Cicada finally penetrated into the atmosphere.

nA second after it appeared, the full body of the Heavy Cruiser entered the atmosphere of Planet Darvis. Like anticipated, this powerful Battleship did not come alone, following behind it were its war companions.

nInstantly after the Heavy Cruiser entered Planet Darvis’ atmosphere, a 2nd Heavy Cruiser and an accompanying Destroyer barged into the Planet as their huge forms cast ominous black shadows in the sky.

nA Frigate smaller and lighter than the others also followed.

nThis streamlined Battleship rushed into the Planet with venom as its high-grade sensors were already rapidly scanning the Planet surface for movements.

nThe last of this invasion force was the 6 Combat Carriers that followed.

nTheir descent was swift even as the Nak base in Planet Darvis geared into action. The base didn’t send their Battleships out instantly, instead they launched special beacons into the air that highlighted several spots in the Planet.

nThese highlighted spots were the location of the war turrets and other planetary defense measures that Planet Darvis already prepared for the war.

nThe Nak Navy was still determined on winning the war with minimal losses, and the best way to do so was to take out the defense of the enemies.

nWithout hesitation, the weapon armaments of the battleships locked on the different planetary defense bases. Before they could pull the trigger though, alarms rang across all the Battleships of the enemies.

nWarning! The Golden Cicada has been locked on by another Battleship!
