Chapter 631 Gaufrid [3]

n

n

n2 years after the events of the beast arena, in one of the more rural planets in the territory of the Nak State.

nHope Town…

n“Supreme Talent: Mental Manipulation!”

n“Supreme Talent: Wisdom!”

nBzzz!

n“Supreme Talent: Beast- The Greatest Showman!”

nBzzz!

n2 energies, one golden and filled with pure wisdom while the other as white as the stage of a performance given by the greatest showman to walk the universe erupted and covered this full town.

nGaufrid and Saurtem were now Grade C Beasts.

nThe mayor of this town was a Grade D Pugilist.

nThey targeted a town with a Pugilist for a reason, this was because these absolutely fierce fighters had the weakness of having the weakest minds among the warriors of all the super classes.

nNo resistance was offered, Gaufrid and Saurtem took over this town right under the nose of the impossibly powerful Nak State.

nThis became the first base of the Beast Coalition.

n…

nGaufrid and Saurtem after escaping from the beast arena wandered across the surface of the planet where they found themselves, struggling to make ends meet while avoiding the poachers who caught beasts for leisure purposes.

nThe 2 of them could not do it alone, just 3 months after they escaped, they almost got caught again by a poaching team and that was where they met him.

nGhost, the shapeshifting Reptile.

nThis beast shapeshifted into a Nak warrior and pretended to be part of this poaching team for years, he was the one who saved Gaufrid and Saurtem.

nRetaliating, they ended up annihilating the whole poaching team.

nGhost lived his daily life like a Nak mercenary, that was his 2nd identity since living as a beast was so dangerous. He was well-known and he had a house.

nOn going to his house, Ghost looked at both beasts. “You can only stay at my house for 2 days, any more than that is already risky for me”.

n“I won’t jeopardize my identity just to pamper the 2 of you”.𝗈𝒱𝗅𝐞xt.𝑐𝒪𝑀

nGaufrid reacted like he didn’t hear as he looked at this beast with bright shining eyes. “You’re powerful, join us!”

n“Huh?” Ghost looked at them, confused.

nGaufrid did not hold back, he told him everything.

n“My life goal is to end all the beast suffering”.

n“My goal is to liberate every beast in suffering”.

n“I want to build a Beast Empire”.

n“I want to create a beast organization to oppose the sentient races”.

n“…” For almost a minute, Ghost did not reply and when he did, he scoffed.

n“In 2 days, leave and do something worthwhile with your lives before death claims you, you don’t have what it takes to pull that off”.

n“In fact, I’m not harboring you anymore, leave my house!”

nGhost pursued them but they reunited again in an incident 3 months later when 2 beasts that were already building a reputation for themselves attacked a beast arena, killing everyone and rescuing all the beasts there.

nThe Nak authorities came, capturing a lot of the beasts but just when the 2 culprits were about to be caught, an unknown Nak warrior came in to save them.

nThe unknown Nak warrior was Ghost.

n“Fools!” He berated them after he took them back to his house.

n“Even if you have good intentions, that’s now how to go about it”.

n“Did you 2 fools even plan at all?”

n“All you did was place those brothers in even more suffering!”

n“If you want to be a savior, then learn to plan!”

n“Then teach me how to plan!” Gaufrid glared at him.

n“..”

nGhost gritted his teeth. “Leave!” He growled.

n2 months later, another beast incident happened and this was the straw that broke the camel. “I can’t leave the fate of beast liberation in your hands”.

n“The both of you will screw it up and end up saving nothing”.

n“I shall teach the both of you how to make plans”.

n“Don’t expect much from me though. Even with me, I don’t have hopes as high as yours, we’ll only be able to save a few hundred beasts before being captured by the Nak Navy and being executed as an example to others”.

n“Thank you, master!” Gaufrid was ecstatic.

nGhost’s planning started that day and 6 months later, after a successful large-scale beast arena raid, the hidden terrorist organization, then known as the Beast Freedom Fighters officially became a thing.

nDespite Gaufrid’s insistence on him to be the leader, Ghost refused, making Gaufrid the leader.

nAs for himself, he became the first Beast Priest of the Beast Freedom Fighters.

nHe named himself the Espionage Priest.

nSaurtem was the 2nd Beast Priest, the Wisdom Priest as he took on the footsteps of Ghost, become a master planner and deceiver in their almost impossible quest of Beast freedom.

nIt was a year after this that they took Hope Town.

nFrom this town, the activities of the Beast Freedom Fighters went on in full.

n…

n20 years later, after becoming a Grade B Beast even as the Beast Coalition slowly grew in the dark, Ghost finally decided to fulfill his most important duty as the Espionage Priest as he infiltrated into the Nak Navy.

nHis last words?

n“I’m living the dream of beast freedom in your hands Gaufrid”.

n“Pray for me”.

n“If I succeed, one day, no matter how long, I’ll contact you again”.

n“Perhaps, one day we’ll be able to sit down leisurely in the beast empire of our dreams and drink some champagne”.

nThe pressure rested on Gaufrid and Saurtem to keep on doing the deed in Ghost’s absence but they rose to the challenge, keeping the Beast Coalition afloat.

nA year later, Gaufrid became a Grade B beast.

n6 months later, Saurtem also became a Grade B beast.

n…

n10 years after Hope Town, news of an anomaly, an immensely powerful mindless beast that escaped from a beast arena, wreaking havoc everywhere he went was reported.

nThe Beast Coalition went into action.

n“Rararara…!” The gigantic Cow roared as he caused destruction everywhere.

nSinglehandedly, Angenton was fighting against a battalion of local Nak policemen and he had the upper hand as he caused so much destruction.

nThen, he was just a normal mutated beast cow.

nAngenton was immensely powerful, a total berserker of a beast but against the Nak Navy in their territory, he stood no chance being so reckless.

nHere, again, Gaufrid was forced to use his Supreme Talent.

nAmplifying the emotions of all the policemen to a volatile level, Saurdem was able to pull them into an illusion as they dragged the raging Angenton away before he could cause more commotion.

nThey tried to recruit him but Angenton was a blockhead.

nIn the end, Saurdem found the way to navigate into his mind.

n“If you join us, you’ll find it easier to get your revenge”.

n“With us, you’ll get to kill even more Nak warriors than you ever dreamed of”.

n“Our ultimate goal is to end the Nak State”.

n“Really?!” Angenton looked at them.

n“Umm, yeah…,” Gaufrid nodded.

n“Good”. Angenton nodded, grinning like a mad beast. “They killed my family; I won’t rest until I kill them all!”

nThat day, they got the strongest combatant of the Beast Coalition for a long time, Angenton who later became the 3rd Upper Beast Priest, the Doom Cow.

n…

n20 years later, the growth of the Beast Coalition was meagre, mostly because of their motto of always operating from the dark as the Nak Navy never found it important to investigate into them more due to their low-key operation.

nBut that day, something pivotal happened.

nOn that fateful Saturday, the notorious mercenary organization, the Snow Clover was beaten by the forces of the Nak Navy as its mercenary commander fled to this planet after losing all his forces and subordinates.

nThe leader of the Snow Clover mercenaries was a Calamity Grade Beast, the Snow Monkey who was called the Golden Staff Master.

nThat day, Gaufrid met George for the first time.

nAnd that same day, the Espionage Priest moved for the first time as through his hidden influence in the Nak Navy, Gaufrid was able to rescue and hide the injured Snow Monkey in the territory of the Beast Coalition, Coco City.

nFrom Hope Town, the Beast Coalition already secretly took over control of a whole city and this was what enabled them to hide the beast.

nThough he badly wanted to do it, Gaufrid could not talk to Ghost as he went incognito again immediately after helping in the rescue.

nGeorge took 3 months to recover from his serious injuries.

nDuring these 3 months, George learned everything about the Beast Coalition. His mercenary group did something similar to Gaufrid’s goal as they went from planet to planet, randomly rescuing beasts from slavery.

nThis was why he bought into Gaufrid’s goal immediately.

nOriginally, after losing his mercenary group and all his subordinates, George gave up on living but the Beast Coalition gave him a new goal.

nA year later, George took the Beast Coalition out of its home planet.

nThey started moving from planet to planet across Nak and Ackermann State rescuing beasts in a hidden manner and it was during this time across a period of 15 years that they met Darkvale and Damien.

nDarkvale who later became the 5th Upper Beast Priest was a beast who became notorious as a junk collector and blueprint thief.

nAs for Damien, they met him in Ackermann State. As a Grade B beast then, he was captured and bought by a wealthy Ackermann politician to act as a pet.

nThe Blue Coalition intervened and rescued him and out of gratitude and hatred, he pledged his life to the cause.

nThis was how the 5 Upper Beast Priests of the Beast Coalition was born.

nThat day, George said something. “We’ve felt pain for too long”.

n“It’s time we heal our wounds and show them a bit of that pain”.

n“Let’s make the Nak and Ackermann State know fear”.

n“Let’s show them what pain feels like”.
