n“Humans?!” Legolas was alarmed.

nChristensen’s claim was outlandish but Legolas did not put it off, he believed him. After over a month of staying together, their relationship already increased to such a high level that Christensen had full trust in him.

n“I always told you that you’re talented, discovering these tracks are originally not possible for normal superhumans. Due to my training, you were able to unlock a hidden talent of yours which enabled you to see this”.

n“Wow! Really?”

n“Yes, but that’s not the focus for now”. Legolas’s eyes narrowed. “If I’m not mistaken, the Clown Society is after us and they’re already in this island”.

n“That ability to erase tracks and traces from existence is a special Pugilist ability that is exclusive to the Clown Society”.

n“By injecting their specially trained Pugilists with a serum, they unlock this ability and others, turning them into the ultimate assassins”.

n“I believe that 3 of them came here and they’ve seen us already”.

nChristensen was alarmed as he finally understood the gravity of their situation, he was not scared this time though, his will for battle was only stimulated.

n“Don’t underestimate them”. Legolas noticed and warned then he smiled. “Do not underestimate them but I also have to admit, you’re their bane right now”.

n“I don’t know how they were able to track us all the way from Palm Island but the fact that it took them 2 weeks to come meant they came prepared”.

n“There’s a high chance that we’ll be facing more than 3 psychopaths, and if we’re even more unlucky, we may be facing a Grade D expert also”.

n“No, we’ll be facing a Grade D expert”. Legolas changed his words. “I doubt that old geezer would miss the chance to get back at us for his humiliation”.

n“Master, so what’s the plan?”

nLegolas smiled. “You’re getting smarter”. He gave Christensen a thumb up. “I say we beat them at their own game and hunt them down”.

n“The fact that they’ve not attacked us yet likely mean that they intend to ambush and kill us in the night when we are asleep”.

n“This will grant us the initiative so that in the case we cannot win against them, we’ll easily have the option of retreating and escaping from the island”.

n“But that beast left to sea last week and has not returned yet, how are you sure that it hasn’t deserted us?”
