100!

Woof! Another hundred dead!

Qin Hua took out one eel after another, but their numbers were truly overwhelming. The more she cleared, the more started showing up and of course, she was collecting that many experience points as well which was the silver lining.

The surface of the lake which was previously crystal clear was now filled with corpses of shredded eels floating around.

But because of this chaos, the beasts were more frenzied and not well organized as a group and Qin Hua was able to press on clearing one beast after another.

She also kept resummoning her clone every time it was destroyed and though it wasn't too much of a help, as the clone couldn't handle the combined electric shock attack, it still helped her clear a few beasts.

And finally, after killing about five hundred eels, the numbers finally started dwindling.

Huff! Huff! Huff! Qin Hua panted and spammed her magic skills aiming to kill these last few mutated beasts as well.

Black Rain

Chaos Ball

Multi Arrow

Dark Bullets

....

Phew… Finally… After tiredly glancing at all the experience points notifications, Qin Hua almost melted from exhaustion and fell into the lake, but she quickly supported herself in case there was another horde waiting somewhere.

She then lazily hooked her hand into the lake and grabbed a couple of shredded eels and bit into them to recover her stamina and mana. She didn't even bother taking the mana crystal separately and just chugged the whole thing in.

A couple of minutes passed and her breathing somewhat steadied when she suddenly stiffened up and pulled the system notifications panel to take a look at the last couple of ones.

The words brightly shone with a golden silver luster on the blue background.

What the…! Qin Hua craned her neck to look up at the cat who was carefully peering down so as not to fall into the lake again. Of course, it had observed the whole fight from start to finish from the comfort of its safe spot.

She can also level up? How? Why? Woof!

Were the experience points shared? The cat did not even fight directly with any of the eels so how could she gain experience points to level up?

Qin Hua had never seen this notification before so she wanted to open the system panel and thoroughly investigate this.

Woof! The wolf's eyes sparkled as she gazed at the few skills listed under Coco's status. This was the first time she was seeing this and the cat apparently had a special skill called Follower's Experience Share: 1%

This meant that the lazy furball had been leeching on her experience points all this time without even her knowing it. Not that she minded.

In fact, she wanted to give her more experience points as having a pocket healer with better skills and attributes was nothing short of life-saving, especially since Coco was her loyal follower.

She didn't trust anyone other than Lu Chen to have her back, but Coco was the only exception to this rule. They were a team through and through.

So Qin Hua quickly checked if she could change the experience shared and surprisingly she could. She then changed the percentage to 50% without any hesitation.

Sigh. All my hard work! This Coco is only going to become lazier now!

The image of a fat tabby cat moving its butt floated across her mind and she shook her head helplessly. let's not think about it.

This might be a bit skewed in the beginning but she was sure that it would payout in the long run or at least she would make sure it did.

Qin Hua grinned revealing all her shiny teeth and prepared to once again delve into the lake. Woof! I should collect all this meat first. This kind of nutritious and flavorful meat is really hard to come by

She tested the waters by dipping her paws inside and she waddled back and forth, scooping out all the eel halves that she could hook into.

She still felt a bit empty so she also absorbed more of the smaller mana core studded within each eel. This continued for a while as there were so many eels scattered around.

Qin Hua also did not hurry as she used this time to make sure that there weren't other mutated beasts hiding in the lake.

After all the meat was carefully retrieved and stored away, the lake was now steady once again, but it was no longer the clear blue color. Instead, the surface of the lake was coated with a layer of black blood spilled from the various eels.

Seeing that everything was smoothly taken care of, Qin Hua commanded, quickly sending a mental message to the cat.

Coco! Jump down!

Meow. The small cat nodded obediently and jumped down into the lake once again.

Splash.

Her yellowish white fur was immediately ruined by the black blood, nevertheless, she looked very happy and let out a satisfied purr as she was currently looking exactly like her master.

Qin Hua also summoned her clone and three of them cautiously once again ventured ahead, moving along the length of the lake.

As they progressed deeper and deeper into the narrow cavern, there was only the still lake water. They couldn't observe any other movements except for their own.

By now just like the clone which was paddling effortlessly, the wolf and the cat as well swam ahead with more ease. Without any other beasts coming at them to eat them, swimming wasn't all that hard.

This continued for a while when finally the trio spotted the shores of the lake, where once again winding cave tunnels were present.

The trio quickly stepped onto dry land and then all three of them shook their bodies, the clone mimicking Qin Hua and Coco, but this only ended in vain. The wolf and the cat ended up drizzling water on each other, especially Coco who was once again drenched from the huge water drops from Qin Hua's body.

Qin Hua snorted in amusement at this sight and growled contently as the three resumed their formation again and began moving with the clone at the front, Qin Hua in the middle and Coco at the rear.

Not long after, a familiar sound again echoed in the empty cave tunnels.

Roooaaarr!

The sound of a skeletal soldier rang loudly and the clone immediately leaped forward to tackle the enemy, but this time instead of the bones falling down and cracking apart, the clone was instead flung back, its body smashing on the cave's wall.

Growl!

Qin Hua immediately became alert and dashed ahead to take a look. In front of her was a huge skeleton and unlike the previous ones, this one was riding a skeleton horse.

Both the skeleton soldier and the skeleton horse still had rotting pieces of flesh attached to their bones and their looks were simply too intimidating.

Inspect Qin Hua barked as she sent out a black ball of dark shadow energy towards the enemy.

The black ball of energy struck the skeleton's body, but unlike before, the single hit no longer shattered and blasted away the bones.

Boom! A loud explosive sound rang out and the skeleton knight absorbed the full brunt of the attack with only a few cracks appearing on its body.

This one was definitely on a different level compared to the weak skeletons before even though their level difference wasn't too much.

It didn't remain idle waiting for Qin Hua's next attack and quickly galloped towards the wolf, swinging the huge rusted sword in its hands, aiming directly for her furry neck.
