Chapter 197 - Frozen Tundra Part 3
Qin Hua took another look at everyone around her and then decisively selected the 'yes' option.
As soon as she selected this, she became the party leader and unexpectedly several notifications popped up.
When she looked closely these were the individual status bars of her party members. Even Su Yan's name was included.
Ah… So I can adjust experience points gained for these people also? Woof!
She hurriedly adjusted the numbers. She gave herself 30% of the experience points, Lu Chen 15%, Su Yan 15%, and divided the rest equally among the others including the kids and the elders.
Woof! This looks alright. In reality, Qin Hua was also only getting 15% as Coco leeched half of her points.
While she was messing around with this Lu Chen had already finished what he was doing. He flashed his eyes open with a subtle smile on his face.
Qin Hua turned to look at him curiously if his mana core formation was indeed successful, but the guy acted all mysterious and gave her a warm smile.
Hmm… You can't hide anything from me! Woof!

Huuuu! Not bad!
Though it was not clearly mentioned if he had indeed formed a mana core or not, Qin Hua could still tell that he had been successful as his mana reserves had vastly increased.
She gave him a thumbs up with her paw and let out a howl, indicating that they should soon start. After all, this was another world and she didn't want to stay here any longer than necessary.
Lu Chen understood her and spoke up.
"We are starting. Be alert and do your best.
" Everyone obediently nodded after hearing his words and clutched their weapons tightly.
This strange place and this strange experience, they were slightly nervous but at the same time, there was excitement as well.
Majestic Roar
Qin Hua growled and her clone immediately ran forward.
Herself, Alex, and Guan Ye formed the next line of attackers as they were mainly close combat fighters, and Lu Chen and Coco came after that providing healing support and damage from the back.
Xu Meilin, Luo Zu, and the rest of the group stood behind them, and lastly, the kids and the two elders stood at the end, carrying Bing Che and Su Yan.
It was risky to bring elders, kids, and people who couldn't fight or weren't even conscious but right now this place was just as risky as anything else. So there was no point in worrying about the dangers.
The group moved cautiously, leaving heavy footprints in the two inch thick snow.
There was no clear path or direction like back in the cave, so they decided on a random direction and walked along that path, slowly exploring the frozen forest bit by bit.
Not long after something moved in the distance and a skulk of snow foxes appeared in front of them. For a moment, everyone was stunned as the creatures were absolutely beautiful, almost ethereal.
However, it only lasted for a second. When the beasts revealed their sharp teeth, their true nature was exposed.
They dashed ahead with remarkable agility, saliva dripping from their mouth. They might look beautiful but they were definitely dangerous.
Inspect. Woof!
…
…
…
Qin Hua growled, stepping aside. There were about 8 foxes in total and all of them were in the Level 20 to Level 30 range.
Judging from her experience back in the previous space rift, she knew that these couldn't be too strong, so she wanted to let the others experience fighting with such creatures.
Watching her step aside, Alex and Guan Ye swiftly moved forward and prepared to tackle the two foxes running at the front.
Lu Chen sent out a volley of ice bullets that pierced the thick hide of the foxes and injured them here and there, reducing their overall abilities.
He as well then grabbed the attention of one of the animals and started slashing at it with a long ice sword.
He could now clearly see the difference in his combat abilities as it was much easier to cast the spells and handle the strain after forming the mana core.
This left 5 foxes for the other members of the group, one of which Xu Meilin and Luo Zu tackled together.
Xiao Meng, Qiang, and a couple of others fought the next fox and two other similar groups dealt with 2 more foxes.
What are you looking at, you lazy furball? Start fighting! Woof!
Qin Hua snarled at the tabby who was still happily playing with the snow even in this situation and only then the cat started fumbling and fighting with a snow fox.
The last one was handled by Qin Hua's clone and she herself calmly sat back and watched the show. The foxes were very agile and their strength as well was not bad.
But Lu Chen, Alex, and Guan Ye handled their targets with ease and soon the first three beasts fell.
Coco and her clone were the next to kill their respective snow foxes and another two notifications chimes in.
Fu Fu Fu! This is nice. Woof! Qin Hua leisurely turned around and observed all the fights.
Though some people took longer than others, in the end, everyone successfully finished their targets.
The wolf as well happily basked in the shower of free experience points and hummed without any care.. However, at this point, she suddenly realized that she had overlooked something.
