nSo many options? A dog can be these many things?

nQin Hua's mind spun. She had received only a couple of options when she had evolved a while back but now there were suddenly so many paths in front of her.

nNormally, she would have been overjoyed at such a surprise. However, she was rather short on time right this second so she hurriedly glanced at all the evolution choices.

nShadow Cerberus… three heads… enhanced intelligence… can form three mana cores… specializes in shadow spell casting…

nShadow Hainu… winged beast… enhanced agility… gain affinity to wind element magic… Evolution possible

nShadow Raiju… lightning beast… enhanced agility and strength… gain affinity to lightning element magic… Evolution possible

nShadow Cadejos… nightmare beast… enhanced mental strength... specializes in mind manipulation magic

nShadow Bul-gae… fire beast… enhanced stamina… gain affinity to fire element magic… Evolution possible

nShadow Anubis… corpse beast… enhanced wisdom… specializes in soul magic

nSoul magic??? This has to be the strongest right? Qin Hua's eyes paused on this option and she almost chose it when she noticed that it didn't have the 'Evolution possible' tag next to it.

nHmm? She took her paw back and didn't choose that. Soul magic was very tempting but she also wanted to have the option to evolve further.

nShe was about to look again at the list from the beginning and her eyes coincidentally fell on the last option that she had overlooked in her haste.

nMainly because of the non-existent explanation for the option. In fact, there were only two words.

nShadow Fenrir… Limitless growth

nQin Hua read it again and again. Even the tag 'Evolution possible' was not there but she couldn't take her eyes off of it.

nThere were just two words but they were explosive.

nSystem, what does limitless growth mean?

n

nQin Hua snapped her canines angrily. The damned system was not at all sympathetic to her urgency. It was almost as if it couldn't care if her friends survived or not as long as she somehow survived.

nWoof! I know the dictionary definition of the word stupid. What I am asking is… Huff.

nCan Fenrir gain other elements affinity? What about wings? What about soul magic? Limitless means it includes everything?

n

nROAAARRR!

nQin Hua howled in anger and gave up fighting with the system.

nHer paw then trembled as she took a deep breath and selected the 'Shadow Fenrir' option.

nIt would have been more logical to select any other option right now as it would give her an immediate power boost but she just was not able to overlook the term 'limitless growth'.

nMaybe selecting something else would have surely gotten them through this particular predicament. What about tomorrow when something even stronger assaults them?

nThis was the base of her future capabilities. She had no other choice but to be as greedy as possible and choose the risky one.

n

nQin Hua felt a small prick somewhere deep inside of her but then nothing else happened. A couple of seconds passed and she decided to head back to join the fight.

nShe peeked outside to see that the huge goblin had only now marched in front of the tall building and was waving around a gem studded stick in its hand.

nWhat the heck is he upto? Qin Hua glued her eyes onto the big guy and observed every small detail. However, nothing seemed to be happening.

nThe big goblin didn't seem to care about that and continued muttering something inaudible still waving its bedazzled stick.

nHmm… There is no point in waiting and watching. Nothing good can come from this. I need to disturb and fight this guy.

nDark Shackles She muttered and prepared to dash but quickly braked and stopped her body from plummeting forward.

nDark Shackles Qin Hua muttered again.

nDark Shackles

nDark Shackles

nFuckk!!!! The spell is not working! No matter how much she tried, the big goblin didn't look like it was being shackled by any black wisps of energy.

nHow the hell am I supposed to fight this guy? Qin Hua racked her brain when beads of water started falling on her.

nShe had a bad feeling in her heart as she slowly tilted her head upto look.

nFuccckkk!

nAll this time she didn't realize what the goblin was doing waving its shiny stick but now it was as clear as day!

nThe sky was turbulent and the clouds had gathered. They looked black and violent. It looked like a terrible storm was brewing.

nThis bastard has been casting some sort of lightning magic spell! Qin Hua instantly realized what was happening and knew what was going to follow.

nHer figure jumped into a nearby shadow and moved to the top of the tall building with as much speed as she could muster.

nAnd as she passed by the horde of goblins and their leader, the chunky one, she could feel the damned guy's eyes tracking her accurately even amidst the shadows.

nThe hair at the back of her body stood up as she watched the leader curl its thick ugly green lips upwards into a disgusting grin.

nQin Hua growled and flashed past it, ignoring whatever it was amused about. She directly leaped through the mess of goblins in the stairs and reached the terrace where the others were wearily fighting back.

nAwwoooo!

nMajestic Roar

nAll the goblins queuing up to fight with the humans shuddered and they unexpectedly found their bodies being flung around randomly.

nScree! Scree! Scree! Scree!

nThe goblins started shrieking loudly due to the new commotion that had descended. A big black beast had shown up out of nowhere and was wreaking havoc.

nAfter messing up their rhythm, Qin Hua slipped past them to land on the other side of the entrance.

nAnd just as she did…

nKARA KA BOOM!

nA loud deafening bolt of lightning descended down on the building's terrace.

n
