Chapter 1351 Flying Through Meghilars
1351 Flying Through Meghilars
Ning flew through space at more than half the speed of light. This speed was not one that required him to use Energy at all and was instead something that was his skill after having bought it from the system’s shop.
The speed at which he flew made time pass so much slower for him than the others who were back on the planet he had just left behind.
Dozens of years, if not more, would pass in the time a single year would pass for Ning. Still, even at this speed, it would take Ning over 5 years of his personal time to intercept the Constellation that was currently making its way somewhere.
Ning didn’t know much about the constellation he was going to visit except for its name, Farhalys. He had given the system a very simple criteria so that he could acquire his energy.
He wanted a constellation that was close and could easily be linked and consumed. There were many such constellations that the System had found, and this was the closest one, and also the first one it recommended Ning go for.
“Status.” Ning hadn’t checked his status page in a very long time.
Status
Name: Ning Ruogong
Energy: 22.25 Quintillion Energy
Skills:…
Ning couldn’t help but give a somewhat dry laugh when he saw the numbers. When he first resumed his journey, he had over 31 Quintillion energy. After spending 22 years on the planet, he was left with less energy than he had started with.
And it was all because of the continent he had to return to the planet.
‘No worries,’ he thought to himself. ‘I’ll have a lot more in just a few years.’ Ning could wait for that time.
He passed through the heliopause of the star he had just flown away from and arrived outside at the true outer space.
There were a lot more stardust and asteroids in this place, which Ning had to maneuver through to make his journey. The sight in front of him was one he could never be disappointed by, however.
No matter how many times he saw it, the massive span of cloud-like light with glowing specks that was the galaxy looked ever so brilliant. Ning could look at it for days and not be bored.
Time passed slowly, and Ning planned on what he wanted to do once the mission he was on was finished.
The most important thing to do was to gather 1 Septillion energy to unlock the Chemical Energy, and then hopefully learn the requirements for Nuclear energy. He could only hope that it was not a lot.
For that, he would have to go around absorbing more than just a few constellations.
‘Once I’m done with unlocking Chemical Energy, I wonder if I can visit all the planets in this galaxy?’ Ning wondered. One fantastic thing about the Meghilars galaxy was that it had to Galactic will. Nigel had killed the Will long ago and left, making the path in front of Ning ever so easier. He doubted there was anyone strong enough to contend with him in all of Meghilars. Ning soon lost himself in his own thoughts, and after a while fell into a trance that he had learned long ago so he could remain awake while not being truly unconscious. It was a state he had learned after spending many years in space, both flying and improving his body.
Time passed even more.
A Constellation should have been teleporting, not traveling through space. There had to be a reason why it was doing that, and Ning was more than curious to find out the reason.

He looked in the distance and soon enough he could see a very tiny glimmer of something that approached in his direction.
He passed numerous star systems, smashed through large asteroids, and even flew through a nebula that spanned thousands of light years. It took him 20 years to go through that, but it felt no different than just a few months for Ning.
He saw a pulsar draining a massive star, creating a vortex of glowing clouds that spanned hundreds of thousands of kilometers, and sent off all sorts of radiations, some of which hit Ning and instantly made him stronger.
Because of his skill that allowed him to become stronger after absorbing radiation, Ning spent a small time around the pulsar, becoming stronger than ever. Just 5 minutes around the pulsar was as amazing as staying near a star for about 2 years.
He saw a star on the verge of going supernova and would have if Ning stayed around to watch it happen for a couple of years. However, his current journey was more important, so Ning didn’t waste much time there.
There were many other incredible sights along the way, all of which Ning enjoyed the most he could.
Then, after what felt like a rather long time to him, he was close enough to the Constellation that he had come looking for.
‘Finally,’ Ning thought. ‘I’ll get my energy now.’
The place he was at currently was further away from any stars for a couple of light years at the very least. He stopped at the place and waited.
The Constellation was in move and would cross paths right here in a couple of minutes.
‘How is he traveling?’ Ning wondered. That had been a question that had appeared in the back of his mind for a long time but had never surfaced enough for him to want to ask the system about it.

Ning frowned a little. For something to be visible from that distance, the object had to be massive. But then, what was any massive object doing with a Constellation on it?
As it got closer, Ning started seeing more of it. And the closer it got, the more Ning could see what it was.
When it was the closest, Ning’s eyes went wide in shock.
‘Holy **!’ he thought.
What was approaching him was a giant spaceship, the size of a massive island.
