Chapter 1358 The Godking

Indebiss’ arrival caused a lot of commotion among the humans in the hall who were gathered to leave.

Ning remained hidden within the crowd, waiting for his chance to kill the Constellation. But before that, he had to see to it that the Constellation took the people down to the planet’s surface safely.

“25 years,” the Constellation said with a loud sigh. “How could you be so late, Farhalys? I thought you were going to be aware much sooner, and here you take so much time.”

The golden-haired Godking shook his head as if annoyed by the whole ordeal.

He wore long golden chains that hung from his neck all the way down to his belly button, in front of his bare naked chest. His relatively long hair was banded away from his face with a gold band that went around his forehead. There were golden bracers and bracelets around his muscular arms. He had a simple white cloth wrapped around his leg multiple times, parted in two for his ease.

Indebiss looked as though he was the perfect specimen of humankind. Except, he wasn’t human at all. He had simply changed his body to be one.

‘He’s not using an illusion is he?’ Ning asked. ‘Bastard’s changed his entire physique to become a human.’

“Are these all the people?” Indebiss asked.

Farhalys nodded. “They are indeed all that I was able to save,” he said. “There are a total of 122,306 people here. I will let you take them now.”

“Alright, so… everyone on this ship huh?” Indebiss said and quickly took an account of everyone present. “Very well, let us leave.”

Ning could feel the space twist around him all of a sudden and understood that he was being teleported. In an instant, he arrived at the shoreline with a blue ocean gracing their vision.

Immediately every single human there started screaming out loud in shock and surprise.

“Is that water?”

“So much of it.”

“How can there be so much water? That’s impossible.”

Similar voices could be heard all throughout the group as they had never before seen such a large amount of water in their life. To them, even a small pond was a treasure back at home, and that was never this clear at all.

Ning ignored the people’s cries and looked at the surroundings. They were standing on a beach, but even beyond the beach, there was nothing but sand and desert.

‘Are we on the dayside?’ he thought with a frown, staring at the bright sky. The sun wasn’t hidden from them, but it was far in the distance away from zenith. Ning couldn’t yet tell if it would dip or continue to rise into the sky. He needed to know where he was on the planet of Candar.

He quickly called on the system to give him a simple map of Candar and located himself on it.

The world of Candar had 2 continents. One was a strip of a large strip of land that connected the Sunside to the Nightside, neither of which had any water, making nearly 80% of the planet into a single continent.

The next continent was a large island in the ocean on the other side of the planet from the land that connected the day and night side. The island was a prosperous land known as the Kingdom of Karadhan, the Godking of which was Indebiss. The other continent, one which had no name, was divided into 3 habitable sections. The first of the sections was the strip of land that connected the two sides. It was only known as the connecting lands and was an equally hospitable land, but one not as prosperous as the first one.

It was much more neglected by Indebiss, which was both a blessing and a curse. The other two sections were the shorelines on both the Sunside of the planet and the Nightside.

Ning was currently standing on the shoreline with quite a few people living in this place as well. Although, life definitely had a harder time surviving in this place.

‘These people are used to the heat, they can survive,’ Ning thought. ‘As long as the resources are there, they will do fine.’

Ning looked around to make sure Farhalys was happy with the current situation, only to find out that Farhalys wasn’t there at all.

‘Huh? Where is Farhalys?’ Ning asked.

‘Wow! So that’s it for poor Farhalys,’ Ning thought. He was about to try and contact the Constellation when Indebiss suddenly spoke.

“I am Indebiss, the Godking of this world,” Indebiss’ voice boomed throughout the land, causing many to flinch. He was flying in the air, his golden hair glistening in the sunlight, flowing with the breeze. “I welcome you all to live in my realm.”

While his shout was threatening, his words caused many to cry out of joy. The group of people hugged each other calling out thanks all around.

Indebiss was happy at first, but his expression slowly changed when he realized that Farhalys was being thanked much more than him.

“Stop it!” he suddenly barked. “YOu will not speak his name in my presence. In my world, you will only praise me, and me alone.”

“Sir Godking? What do you mean?” an elderly man with white hair spoke from within the group. His voice wasn’t even loud enough for all of the people to hear, but Indebiss heard it.

“My name is Indebiss. You will forget about Farhalys from now on and only refer to me as your savior. If you do not, I will have you all killed,” Indebiss shouted angrily.

The old man’s face went pale with shock. “But lord Farhalys—”

Indebiss put forth a hand and choked the old man with his energy. The old man slowly floated into the air amidst cries of panic and distress.

“You… Will… Only…” Ning suddenly teleported and arrived in front of Indebiss. “You won’t hurt these people, or anyone from this planet ever again,” he said as he grabbed Indebiss’ outstretched hand. “Link!”

Ning’s eyes went wide. “Shit!”
