Chapter 1361 Requirements
Ning watched as the final essence of Indebiss flew into his body, absorbing him completely. He felt extremely powerful at that moment, like a man who had woken up from a deep sleep and was ready for that day.
“He’s completely gone?” Ning asked the system just to be certain.
“If he is born again, he better be a good Will like Farhalys,” Ning said, sighing a little as he remembered that he killed Farhalys too. “Poor Farhayls, but he was dying anyway. I’ll complete your wish and help all these people have a better life here, buddy.”
Ning flew out of the lava, landing on the charred black land of igneous rocks. He looked around the atmosphere and could see the ripples of heat wafting all around him.
“Anyway, what’s my energy count like?” Ning asked. “Status.”
Status
Name: Ning Ruogong
Energy: 284.57 Septillion
Skills:…
Ning looked at his status screen and sighed. It was just so easy. He needed just 1 Septillion energy and getting it was so easy, but doing so had taken him such a long time that it had been damn near forever.
“Use it. Unlock the Chemical Energy.”
The cap for the day had been spent up, so Ning would have to wait for some time longer so he could eat some foot and absorb some chemical energy that way. Once he had a few of them, he could double the Energy cap three times, improving his total allowed energy intake by 8 times altogether.
That was a great help.
“What’s next?” Ning asked. Although, he knew what was next. Nigel had told him what was next.
Nuclear energy, or more accurately, Radiation.
There were 9 types of energy that one had to unlock in total. Heat, Sound, Kinetic, Electrical, Magnetic, Gravitation, Radiant, Chemical, and Nuclear.
He had unlocked all but the last one.
“What are the requirements for Nuclear energy?” Ning asked.
Ning frowned all of a sudden. “What does that mean?” he asked. He understood the first 2 as it was easy to understand, but the last one.
He thought for a moment. He had been to 4 different universes so far.
There was his home universe where the earth was. There was the dwarf universe where he had spent a few hundred thousand years going from the Yomire Galaxy to the Milky Way galaxy.
There was another random universe that he had visited through nothing but just dungeons, the one where he had found Sorlus, his blue mana dragon.
And finally, the Universe he was currently on. “With no external aid… meaning I can’t use space stones or I can’t be brought over,” Ning thought. “I have to open the portal to another universe on my own.”
Ning frowned when he said it all out loud. “Don’t I need like the 12 Supermassive black hole’s worth of energy to move over to another universe?” Ning asked.
“But I… how am I supposed to gather the power of 12 Super Massive black holes? That sounds insane!” Ning started panicking a little. “Something is very much wrong with this requirement. Is it just supposed to make me waste millions working toward it?”
Ning felt like crying. “Well, at least the other requirement should be much easier. I can just start around next to a sun, right? They leak a lot of radiation. If I’m bored, I just just go up to a pulsar and do it too.”
“I do,” Ning said with a sigh. “At least I completed one of the requirements on accident already. Thank you, Genesis.”
Not that remembering that made him feel much better. Genesis was one of the things that Ning regretted a lot about retrospectively. He didn’t regret his actions or the outcomes surrounding Genesis.
What he regretted was the fact that when he had linked with Genesis back on that planet, he had been very weak and hadn’t had the time to strengthen up.
So, when the link had finally completed, all of the energy that he had gathered from the Will had gone to waste as his body couldn’t hold any of it. All he could gather at the time was nothing but a sextillion and a half only. Ning could imagine all the things he would have done back then had he even been able to accept double that energy. For one, he could have directly teleported over to Kumia and had been back.
For another, he would have been so strong that by the time he returned back to earth, none of the Constellations would have ever been a threat.
Ning shook his head. What was done was done, there was no reason to regret it now. At least he had completed the first requirement thanks to it and that was…
Ning’s eyes narrowed as he looked at the requirements again, falling at the first one.
Defeat a Galactic Will.
His eyes slowly widened as he understood. “Motherfu—” He felt exasperated at the realization.
The entire reason Nigel had come to the Meghilars galaxy was to kill the will Meghilars and absorb his energy. While a single Meghilars wasn’t enough for Nigel, along with the energy from Bayrus, she had enough to leave this Universe and go to a new one.
Which meant…
“If I want to complete the third requirement as fast as I can, I will have to go find a Galactic will or two and kill them,” Ning finished his thoughts out loud.
“Shit!”
