Chapter 1428 The Ship

“That was you?” Jasmine asked in a whispered voice, looking at Ning who stood atop a very weird-looking ship.

The ship itself was mostly made out of metal with what was not made out of metal being made out of glass. There was not a hint of wood in sight at the ship.

The was also quite small. It was about 7 meters wide with the deck being 5 meters in total and a 2-meter metal box that was a room of some sort.

“You thought I would lose,” Ning said. “I had to put on a special show in that case.”

Tim and Tony looked down at the moment as well and were surprised to see the new ship.

“Where did it come from?” Tony asked. “What do you mean? It was here the whole time,” Ning said with a grin. Everyone could tell he was joking right now.

Tony shook his head and looked at the ship. “I’m surprised a fully metallic ship is even floating at all. I would’ve fully assumed such a ship to sink to the bottom immediately.”

“Maybe it is buoyant,” Tim said. “The design of the ship matters quite a lot in whether it floats or not, doesn’t it?”

Jasmine rolled her eyes at the two scholars talking. “Who cares? As long as it floats, it floats,” she said. “We have more pressing concerns.”

“And what is that?” Ning asked.

“That ship is too small,” she said. “I have seen local fishing boats that are larger than that. What is the point of having such a small ship?”

Tim looked at the ship and nodded. “Is this really the ship?” he asked. “Or is this another elaborate joke of yours?”

“No joke, this is the ship,” Ning said.

“And where am I supposed to go if I want to relieve myself?” Jasmine asked with her arms crossed in front of her chest.

Ning pointed at the 2-meter large metal box at the end of the ship. “There’s everything you could want in there,” he said.

Jasmine narrowed her eyes, not trusting. But then again, she had come all the way here on his words after all.

“Where did this ship come from though?” Tony asked.

Tim sighed and patted the man on his back. “We’re way past that question, Dr. Tony,” he said. “You’ll learn to quickly stop questioning once you are with this man.”

He was the first to jump onto the ship, making a loud sound as he landed on the deck. He tapped the ground a few times with his shoes and nodded. “Not slippery at all,” he said. “I was afraid it would be quite slippery given it’s all metal.”

“This ship is made with the intent of the surface not being slippery,” Ning said. “So you won’t have to worry about easily sliding here unless you somehow end up with frosts up here overnight, but that shouldn’t be the problem.”

Tim suddenly had a thought when he heard that. “Wait, that reminds me. Where will we be sleeping in this place? There is no room to sleep at all.”

Jasmine jumped onto the ship and caught onto the railings to balance herself. “Yeah, where do we sleep?” she asked.

Once again, Ning pointed behind him at the 2-meter large box. Jasmine frowned. “We’re going to have the piss and sleep in the same place?” she asked.

Ning shrugged. “That is how this ship works,” he said and grabbed Tony from the air, pulling himself away from the railings as he jumped down. The man nearly hit himself between the legs with how tiny his jump was.

“You can get rid of these clothes now,” Ning said. “We’re on the ship, so you will be fine.”

“I’ll wait until we’re out of the docks, thank you,” Tony said. Ning didn’t argue. The man had been traumatized enough to ask him to do anything any other way.

“I’ll get the ship moving. You all stay out here,” he said and opened the doors to the 2-meter large room and closed the door.

“What?” Jasmine couldn’t believe her eyes. “We’re not only meant to sleep and ** there but even the ship’s helm is there? What sort of cursed ship is this?” Tim was starting to feel worried as well. “At this point, I can’t tell you what he is thinking of,” he said with a sigh.

Tony got close to the two and whispered. “Did either of you two see where the ship came from? I swear to go it wasn’t there for one moment and the next moment it was.”

Jasmine sighed as well. “Did you not see the explosion?” she pointed toward the sky. “That was his doing as well, to distract us from seeing how the ship came to the harbor. I suspect he created it from nothing.”

“Create… from nothing?” Tony asked with curious eyes.

“He can do that sort of thing,” Jasmine said. “I have seen him bring out over 50 gold bricks one after another from nowhere. I can only imagine he is creating it from nothing. Maybe he has a treasure that can do that? But then again I’ve never seen him use any treasure.”

Tony listened to her intently.

“I don’t know if I believe that he is creating things from nothing,” Tim said. “I told you before, I think he has something that he stores things in. Maybe even a Zurin treasure that he’s eaten? Or at least placed inside his body somehow. He puts and takes things out from that storage.”

“The Book of Treasure he brings out is definitely the same book again and again,” Tim said.

“You’re right,” Jasmine said. “What if he has a link to another place in the world and he brings things from there? That would make sense given he’s brought out people from nowhere before.”

“I see, that could be true,” Tim said.

Tony simply paid attention to the conversation intently. Saʀ*ᴄh the N0ᴠFre.nt website on Ggl to access chapters of nvels early and in the highest quality.

Ning opened the door and walked out again. “I’m put in the coordinates,” he said just as the ship started moving from the harbor. “We should reach our location within the next 4 hours.”
